The duck with fried rice was absolutely AMAZING! Cocktails were really good.Will get these again with the first opportunity.The sushi was acceptable, but I would not have it again.The ambiance is really nice. Staff is very friendly.I recommend this place!

The food is really good and the quantity is also worth the price 👌We ordered Thai vegetables curry with rice which was written as most sold item. And one more Red tropical curry. If you like a sweetish taste of the curry like me then you get to try Red tropical curry . Because it has lychee, Ananas and few fruits which gives the fruity sweetish flavor. It was very tasty.

The spring rolls with Shrimps weren’t that great but the veggie spring rolls were super good. Strawberry Cairinha cocktail was good but had so much tequila that it was difficult to drink. I highly recommend the rice noodles with Thai peanut sauce. Super tasty!

If youre looking for delicious Thai food, this is the spot! The decor alone is beautiful and inviting but the food, omg. The portion, price and flavor was all worth it, with fresh veggies and perfectly cooked rice. A must try when Im Köln

Yum, yummidy, YUM! Thats all I can say to this place! Great food, a selection of vegan and vegetarian is also there, which I tried and LOVED! HUGE portions and affordable prices 👏🏻 The only thing I didnt like was the seating arrangements. Pretty uncomfortable. But you can also get takeout from here if you dont want to eat at the place itself. Super tasty cocktails as well 👍🏻Overall, I absolutely recommend going here!! 🍛🥢🍹

Its been eight years since Ive been here as we came to cologne on a holiday. The food was so good then that we did the unthinkable and returned the times during the holiday!! Tried hard to track it down this time (couldnt remember the namebut eventually found it - its as good now as it was then. Great Thai restaurant. Very reasonably priced and fantastic service as I remember. Highly recommend!!As well as a great menu, they also do large cocktails which everyone seemed to be enjoying. Nice atmosphere inside and out. Thank you!FYI I had the red curry with egg noodles and crispy duck and a large beer - 15 euros.

Food is okay, but nothing special in my opinion. The home made lemonade with fresh mint didn’t taste very well :/ the fresh mint was chopped in very tiny pieces , which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. It was too sweet as well .The concept is not really convenient either. You have to set your order at the till and pay strait away. They only bring your food to the table ...We might not visit that restaurant again

Weve been quite often to this place and usually were quite satisfied with the drinks. However, this time was different in a way that other costumers have reported as well:I ordered Pad Thai and this time it already tasted quite different in not a very good way. I even tried to give it some taste by using sweet sour sauce. After 20 minutes, my stomach started to hurt very badly. I Went out in order to get some air, and had to throw up right away. On the street. When I went back inside to get some water and explained the situation.However, when the owner of this restaurant came to ask about what was wrong and I subtile pointed out that I felt sick while and after eating the food, he suggested that I could have mixed up too much of the sauces on the table. He also claimed that theyd just use fresh ingredients here, which would be visible through the open kitchen design. However, he did not show any sign of belief whatsoever in my suggestion that it must have been the food served there - which actually was super obvious due to the timing.He offered coffee or a shot in order to make me feel more comfortable, but seriously: After throwing up, it was probably not the perfect suggestion and again rather appeared as a sign of disbelief and as him taking the situation as frivolous.As I didnt even finish my dish, I did not even get offered a refund of the amount of money I paid.To sum it up: the food quality appears to be very poor.This experience showed, that costumer and service orientation in rather difficult situations is not as the standard set by comparable competitors.Personally, Id not recommend this place, I already sent a notification to the German health authorities, to prevent other incidents like this one.The 2 Stars, to be fair, are given, because the food came within 5 minutes and my friend, who had her birthday dinner there, got a free, lovely Cocktail made by the owner himself.

Great location but not so good Thai food. This is typical of what you find in high traffic tourist areas. The food here is definitely not authentic Thai and honestly it was below par. There are many great Thai restaurants in Germany, this is certainly not one of them.

This place is amazing! The food is fantastic. Bit the thing that will change your life about Kittichai is the fruit tea. I could drink gallons of this stuff, and think that everyone should try it. The food is typical restaurant Thai food. And the food is very good. The staff has always been helpful. Just as a warning, even though its a sit down restaurant, you still need to go to the counter to order and get your drinks.

Im always confused by these German concept eateries, and this one is pretty goofy. A long, skinny thai food restaurant with mainly German waitstaff and kitchen workers, with a Pioneer CDJ bumping electro tunes. The food and service is good enough, and it seems to be quite popular for takeout (they pack the food well, which most asian style takeout places dont).

In fact a lot of the dishes brought back to the kitchen by the waitresses were almost still half full or even more. We think you can order one dish for two people if you take a little precourse (or notand it would be still enough.The ambiance is not romantic or calm, but rather loud and there is a TV and a beamer playing fashion shows, if a restaurant that is quite lively is your thing, we do think youll like it and the food is good. One last thing, they call it semi-service.. which means by their terms that you have to order at the cashier and then they bring it to your table, so no full service but we found it to be quite comfortable.

Fantastic modern Thai Restaurant, operates more like a buffet, but a restaurant environment. Service is fast, with a screen to keep you up to date, and the food is very good authentic Thai with a modern twist if you want it.

If you are looking for a great meal with full flavour and you are hungry, like a variety of choice than this is certainly a option worth exploring and the menu is part English.My partner and I shared a fried rice dish hear which has option of vegetarian or choice of meat and and side of spring rolls was very satisfying and filling and reasonable priced too .

My sure place to eat on saturday night before a party or to have a lunch on sunday! They have lots of vegetarian and vegan options, and the homemade lemonade with basilic is awesome!

I used to think I had to travel all the way to London every time I wanted to get the kind of burrito I fell in love with in southern California but thats no longer the case. The Bay Area Burrito Co. is a fantastic little gem right in the middle of a fun downtown Koln. I will be returning again very soon. My only recommendation would be to make your chips in house rather than the generic ones you include with your guacamole (which, by the way, was pretty darn good but mix in cilantro for a little more zing haha).

Always love it. Its not completely a self serving place but you have to get your cutlery yourself. They do bring the meals to your table tho which is great. The cocktail is always a hit plus who doesnt love happy hour right? Highly recommended.

I visited for the first time by recommendation from a friend, it stands up to the food quality but the service is really cold and poor.They forgot to serve napkins and cutlery everytime and the table was not clean.

Thai-Vegetarian-Asian. One of my favourite restaurants in Köln. Tasty meals, big portions, friendly staff, great cocktails with Happy Hour. You have the options to choose your meat from beef, chicken, duck or go vegetarian with Tofu. Just love it!

Really good Thai food for a reasonable price. It is a semi-self-service, so you order at the bar and they bring the food to your seat.It is a bit noisy inside, especially towards the evening - seems to me the restaurant tries to be somewhat of a bar too - though we didnt really like the cocktails.If you are looking for just good food, preferably for lunch, this is an absolute recommendation!
