Kitchen 67 in Grand Rapids

We arrived about 7 PM on Saturday night 10/22 and were seated immediately. This was not our first visit and I honestly dont know why Ive not done a review previously. Our server was very nice, friendly, and responsive. Our drinks were a little slow getting to us, however they were somewhat busy so no big deal. Our meal came in a timely manner and was, as usual, outstanding. We had the salmon and shrimp, a massive hamburger of some sort and we split some broccoli/cheese kind of side dish....all were excellent! Never have had a negative experience with the service or the food when we have visited. Great job again Kitchen 67 and thank you!

My wife and I were in Grand Rapids on Sunday and wanted to try a restaurant we dont have in the town we live in. There are scads of choices in GR so choosing was difficult but we ended up going with Kitchen 67 on East Beltline Ave. Overall we were really happy with our choice. Their menu has plenty of menu choices without getting overwhelming and the food itself was very good. Seemed to offer mostly sandwiches, burgers, soups and salads if I remember correctly. Again, everyone in our party of six was very pleased with their food. I would say the prices were reasonable and what you might expect from a moderately upscale bistro type of restaurant. None of us felt that things were over-priced. Our waitress was also very good. She came to check up on us frequently but not to the point of being annoying. I wouldnt say I was totally blown away after the experience but it is certainly a restaurant well visit again when were up that way. Definitely worth a try if youre ever in the area. Enjoy!

After seeing it referenced as "must try before you die", I had The Bird in Hand with truffle fries....and yes, its that good. Go get oneAnd while youre there be sure to say hello to one of the most charismatic, positive, and outgoing bartenders, Jeremy!

First time here. Food was good. Not overly busy but still took a while for the food to come out. Nice atmosphere. Might try it again.

Every time our Ohioan friends come to town, they specifically request Kitchen 67. And we will happily take them because the food is incredible!

First time visit. Did you know that Kitchen 67 is in the Branns family? It also is a joy to go to. We had one of many daily lunch specials. Had steak and potato. Both were cooked to perfection! Medium Rare was um um delicious. Thank you for that.

Everytime I go here things are fantastic! Food is always phenomenal and the staff has always been friendly warm and kind. One of my favorite restaurants in West Michigan!

The service at Kitchen 67 is always impeccable. It has a very chic and trendy atmosphere, but their food always has a fresh, down to earth quality while retaining an upscale appeal.Also home to some of theBest kettle chips that I know of.

The food was pretty good, we got ribs carry out. However, one of the workers was packing up our food and was touching his face and nose with his bare hands then stuck his bare hands in cheese and then parsley to put on our fries. I understand that clean washed hands are cleaner than gloves but I watched him scratch his nose and touch his face then touch my food. At least don’t do it right in front of the people ur abt to give that food to man.

Good place for dinner. Fairly quiet and a good layout for small gatherings. Food was good, but a little on the expensive side. That being said it fits in with its location. Would recommend going here, but not a show stopping I will be back kind of restaurant.

Always have great service here. Food is 4/5 stars, but the rest makes it 5/5. Always a great place to pop in and out of. Their chicken sandwich and quesadilla is highly recommended! Best things on the menu.

Great restaurant all around! Unique food, gluten free options, and some of the best service weve had in awhile. Arie was a fabulous server! Definitely try the brussel sprouts appetizer. We will be back!

This is a small, modern bistro in front of a strip mall, but dont let that turn you off. The food and service was really great,if I lived closer I would go there often.

Very disappointed in the service I received when dining in. We waited for probably 15 minutes to get our initial drinks which were mainly water. We placed our order and then proceeded to wait for 45 minutes with no refills or our appetizers with only one other table being served in the restaurant. Our waitress, Kai, did not come and check on us and we actually pinged the manager to get some refills and service. The other tables around were all still filled with previous dishes and the bus boy was also having to work as a waiter. Kai continued to not refill our drinks unless we asked and instead of leaving a water pitcher, we just continued to have to ask when she came around every 20 mins. I do not think I’ll be back for a long time when we waited for nearly an hour and a half for our food and because of the less than stellar service.

Excellent food, great service. Need to go back soon to try items on the menu I couldnt decide between tonight. Highly recommend!

If I could leave zero stars I would. We came here a few months ago and it’s was fantastic!! Service….food…..top notch!! Came here tonight and should have been clued in by the fact it was a Saturday night at 7:30 and there were only 3 other tables there. Anyways……service was not good. Slow. Forgot we ordered an appetizer until we asked. Hubbys salad came out 45 seconds before his food. Ok. No biggie.Let’s talk about the food…..Ribs - advertised as 12 hr roasted and they came out ice cold, not Luke warm but refrigerator cold. Can’t even say reheated Gordon food service food because it wasn’t even reheated.Avacado Salad - menu description looked so good. When I got it it was iceberg lettuce with 3 slices of Avocado on it. No roasted yellow tomato’s. No roasted parm cheese. Fresh baked croutons.Rolls - stale, hard on the bottomQueso was good. Chips amazing. Butter to die for.We were given a $20 gift card from them. Hit me up if you want it cause we are never going back.

This place is AWESOME. We had great service and amazing food. The manager Josh was VERY hands on and personable! I WILL be returning and recommend you try it!

Each time I go I have an amazing experience. The staff are completely wonderful and the food is absolutely delicious. Their rolls are to die for as well as their salmon and Mac and cheese! I always recommend this place to all of my friends and co workers. They are very good at their jobs and if I could rate them a 10 I would. Kitchen 67 is my all time favorite place to eat and have a good time at as well.

Service was bad. Waiting to be seated waiter and waitress just walked by, was getting ready to leave and was finally seated server who seated us took our drink order didnt see him again. The next server was nice. Food was not worth the money and was cold. Wouldnt recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, unique menu. The Asian noodle bowl with steak was very good. Under staffed, inexperienced server.

It smelled terrible and know one knew how to fix it. The steak was extremely undercooked the salted crusted baked potato had absolutely no salt on it! The manager was terrible but I have to say the waitstaff was very nice! We will never go there again! Totally not worth it!

We both had steak and it was delicious. She enjoyed her wine and I enjoyed the house cooler. The atmosphere was charming and bistro-like. We dined in but an outdoor area was also available. The service was excellent and friendly. We will come again, and maybe see you?

The waiter was super nice and very accommodating. The chicken sandwich was amazing and I highly recommend the queso dip. Im not from Michigan but if Im ever back there I one hundred percent will go back.

Me and my boyfriend love this place for date night or lunch! The owner is amazing! Nice family owned place! We love the chips and guacamole. And their burgers are so good!

Came here for the first time today a few minutes after 4pm, and, my partner and I were seated right away. Our server, Kimora, was very sweet and helpful. And, their happy hour specials were fantastic! $2.99 for a glass of their house wine (red, white, or roseI repeat $2.99 for a full glass!! I was floored.. and it was pretty good wine!We started with the traditional wings and they were perfect! We continued with the fish tacos and the chicken sandwich which were both out of this world, so delicious! I highly recommend the truffle fries! We finished with the elephant ear ice cream sundae and whoa so tasty and the ice cream tasted homemade! We will definitely return when we are on the west side of the Mitten again! Awesome meal and service!

Overall love the atmosphere and the presentation of the food the service was bad food honestly could be seasoned alot more it was bland

I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times now and I think I have a fair idea of their menu.This last time I order ribs, unfortunately they were over-cooked and under-seasoned. Although smothered in a lot of bbq sauce, anybody that enjoys ribs would agree that the ribs themselves need a good amount of salt & pepper before anything else. These ribs when tasted without the bbq sauce were terribly bland. My wife’s order was wrong but we were hungry so she didn’t send it back. The wait staff were very good which is the reason I am rating it slightly higher. The drinks available are also good. Would I bring friends from out of town here? No. Would I go back? If you twisted my arm but there are better options.

Let’s start with the fact that the food is really good. The wait of 45 minutes for the food was a bit much, especially since we were here at 4:15 and the place was fairly empty. The portions were on the small side, my side of Brussels was cooked to perfection but came cold and there were maybe 3 or 4 of them cut in half. I got the steak appetizer for my meal and they were tasty and warm but not hot. Overall I would hate to see how they handle a rush since they don’t handle a lull well.

Had hopes for this place and completely let me down. Ordered potato spuds, very bland barely any toppings. Ordered the “must have chicken sandwich before you die”. Well I guess they tried to kill me, it came raw. How do you mess up deep fried chicken? Come on. I understand this is family owned. Love supporting local. But on. Waiter brought me a replacement chicken sandwich and same thing!!!!! Hard and tough. Never again will we come here

The servers were very nice and welcoming. The menu had a great variety. Our food didnt take too long to come out, but it wasnt great. The Mac n cheese we got was good, but the steak was pretty bad. It had clearly been cooked wrong, almost like it was boiled. There was almost no onion or mushroom on it too. The premium sides came in small quantities. I would be very reluctant to order from the grill menu again. Also, we noticed a group of fine staff huddled behind the bar on their phones. Kinda disappointed in that.

Excellent food that is prepared well each of the 4 times Ive been here. Their wings are incredible and crunchy. The cherry chutney chicken sandwich is tender and sweet. They do take a bit longer to prepare food but it tastes so much more fresh than a chain. I wish I could give them a bonus star. This place is truly special.

Service wasnt the best. Waiter brought out old coffee he knew had been sitting all day instead of just making a new pot. He also had absolutely no idea what a brioche bun was despite it being on the menu. Food was OK, I had a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado and cherry chutney on a pretzel bun and truffle fries. It was decent. My friend got some kind of fried chicken sandwich and onion rings. Sandwich was meh, but the onion rings were amazing!! Seriously the best Ive tasted in a very long time. Id go here again just for the onion rings!!

Ive been here twice now and will keep coming back for more! Im gluten-free (not celiac but similarso finding good meals that meet my needs can be difficult. Kitchen 67 has a lot of options and everything is always so delicious. Service is good.The lunch portion of steak is a perfect size. The sweet potato fries are some of the best Ive had and come with cinnamon butter. YUM!I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Cool decor and vibe. Service was ok. Food was ok. Burger and egg were a little overcooked for my liking (well done for bothand the brussel sprouts were undercooked.

We live in Holland and original plan was to dine somewhere in downtown GR on Saturday evening to celebrate our daughters academic achievement. BUT .. that was NOT happening since all places were basically booked and overcrowded. Then we had to make a quick decision to find another place to dine. Found this place online (since our daughter was craving for burgers and fries- based on the reviews and menu items. We ordered MI Queso Dip (for appetizer), Hangover Burger with Truffle Fries, and two Zuckerburgers with Truffle Fries, Onion Rings and Kettle Chips. The place has a modern look and neat with lots of great artworks and paintings from ArtPrize on the wall. Quite busy the night we dined in. After finishing appetizer, finally our burgers arrived. However, we had a little "incident". One of the burgers we ordered "accidentally" came with a piece of metal inside the burger, which we didnt know what it was at first. Luckily husband only took one bite when he discovered that and we immediately called our server and explained what happened. Our server was very nice and had a quick response. She took the burger and told us shed have the chef make another burger for a replacement. Then shortly after, the manager came to our table, sincerely apologized to us, and explained that a piece of metal appeared to be coming off from frying basket. Possibly it accidentally came off from the metal basket after frying the onion rings and accidentally landed into the burger, which Zuckerburger did include onion rings in the stack inside the bun. Incident happened and it just happened to us tonight 😞. Not too long the replacement burger arrived and we all did enjoy our meal 😁. Great burgers, fries, onion rings, dinner rolls, chips and appetizer dip!!! Burgers are hands-down 🍔🙌🏻, best quality meat burgers EVER!!! At the end, the manager took care of one of the Zuckerburgers that had the metal and took it off the bill, even though we didnt expect they would do that since we already got the replacement. Thats a great and excellent customer service!!! We applauded that the manager and the server did above and beyond the call of duty. We truly appreciated the service and thats why we gave 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We will surely be back in the future to try another menu items 😊

Best service in years. Nick was a great waiter and the food was delicious. Highly recommended. The cookie monster dessert was amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.

I saw a review on burgers and had high expectations. I brought my daughter here for her birthday because she requested burgers... They tasted like frozen burgers.. fries were good and I got good reviews on the chicken sandwich. Atmosphere is solid. But it’s really just a fancy bar.

Pretzels were good, so going for happy hour and half price apps its worthwhile. Food was hot, truffle fries had very strong garlic flavor, which I like, but my husband was disappointed in the overwhelming garlic, more like garlic parm fries not truffle. Pork tacos were mediocre. His burger was unfortunately rubbery and flavorless, could not taste the A1 aoli, he was still being overpowered from the garlic on the truffle fries he said. Best part of the meal was the appetizers but unfortunately we were disappointed in the entrees.

Excellent across the board! Oh yes!! Truffle fries!!! Impressive quality food and a cocktail flight is a great little fun bonus to get! We were well taken care of.

Good food friendly service, only problem was I think the wait staff should look a little more proper, than just rolling out of bed.

I cant believe we waited so long to try this place! Everything was 10/10. I had the Bird in Hand Chicken Sandwich with Truffle Fries, and my husband had the Zuckerberger with onion rings. We also had 2 margaritas that were recommended by our server. We will absolutely be back :)

This place takes typical mundane dishes and elevates them. The wings are extraordinary. We had traditional as an appetizer with bourbon glaze and sweet and spicy. They were great. We also had the potato scratchins. They are an interesting take on the typical potato skins. They give little complimentary rolls. The rolls are soft, sticky, sweet heaven accompanied with cinnamon butter. I also had a side salad that was rave worthy. I dont think I have had better salad or rolls anywhere else. I had ninja and whiskey bbq boneless wings and cajun fries for dinner. I cant believe how much flavor their sauces possess. I really enjoyed the wings. My gf got a hangover burger minus egg and she said it was very good. I cant express how happy I was with my overall first experience. I am certainly coming back.

It was alright. Nothing really blew me away. The decor was nice. I got 6oz sirloin with carmelized onions and with broccoli and cole slaw. The slaw was too pickley to me. The steak was alright, nothing to die for but tasted good. I had the 67 cooler which was yummy, but again not amazing. Just all meh.

Loved the food here! We got mac n cheese and Michigan apple salad + steak toppingSalad was so well balanced and the steak had some special seasoning that was such a delight! Loved every bit of it. The Mac n cheese was super creamy and rich. Simply loved it. Ambiance seemed a bit dry and could use a little coziness, may be dim the lights a bit? Anyway, solid five stars for the food and service! The server was very attentive.Oh! They give freshly baked rolls with cinnamon butter - loved those too!

Excellent food and good prices. I got the Norwegian Salmon with fried Kale... yum! And for dessert the cookie monster- OMG it was delicious!! Totally recommend this and you can easily share with 2 people. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the cookie but trust me its worth getting :)

First time ever coming here. It did not disappoint! Im not sure how it has any bad reviews at all. Our server Amy was very friendly and we had a good conversation. Now the food, wow. First we had queso dip and chips and it was perfect! I ordered the wings as well and they may have been the best wings Ive had in GR no joke. The hangover burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were outstanding! I definitely will be back! P.s. my wife had the sizzle bowl and she said it was fantastic!
