Grassy waterfront park with walking paths, a fishing pier, picnic pavilions & a shaded playground.
Kissimmee Lakefront Park in Buenaventura Lakes
Description
My Great Niece had her little girls 1st birthday here. It was such a beautiful clean place outdoors. Everyone enjoyed it here today great day great place
MoreBeautiful park overlooking the lake. Very busy. The park has restrooms, a water play area and regular playgrounds for kids. The little park restaurant has soft serve ice cream. They have ice cream available in small cups which was perfect size for dog.
MoreWent there after a wedding to take pictures. Has some really nice spots. I did see people with dogs so it seems animal friendly. Nice lake view
MoreKissimmee Lake Front Park is around a large Beautiful lake with a wide walking path all along! Vistas and vegetation keeps changing as you walk along. Great for taking a stroll of bike riding. Park is good for various sports activities, picnic or a party. Great for kids to play! There are restrooms on the park and its close to restaurants. People bring their dogs too. This park pops up as one of the attractions near by when searching in Kissimmee. It was worth our 15 minutes drive!Right now the lake has an elevated level of water and many ramps are under water. Also like most water bodies in Florida, there are Gators in the lake -Stay safe.
MoreLove to fish here! or just take a nice stroll down by the lake. At night they have lanterns that change colors. Very beautifully kept, but be careful-theres alligators :0)
MoreThe park grounds are nice however the bathrooms should be maintained better. The were dirty.Unfortunately people use the large midway to the pier to ride their bikes and do wheelies for distances that could harm children and elderly or anybody. These bike tricks scare people from walking on the walkway. There was a preacher on a loudspeaker disturbing the peace. This annoyance shouldnt be allowed. There are homeless people in various areas but they seemed to keep to themselves. Its unfortunate they have to seek shelter in the park. The park fields were maintained nicely and the trees and plants were well kept.
MoreVery pretty and spread out. The workers were cleaning every thing from top to bottom. There is quite a bit of litter.
MoreGreat park Great place to see sunset and park have beautiful trees with Spanish moss small light house rain park bathrooms and snacks
MoreI was there to go to the American Legion #10 for the retirement party of a good friend. I found it to be a very enjoyable experience. The American Legion society themselves were what I ld call true to America. I am not political in any way. Simply, I was born in America. Ive taken the time to study and understand its meaning. That ends my public notice. The park was clean and felt comfortable, if you live in Kissimmee enjoy it and are becoming our last place where a person can go to and not go broke over, be made to join the association, or be denied because our birth doesnt agree with the local mindset. Something to protect believe it or not.
MoreThere for the 4th of july fireworks. Really nice, loooots of people...
Beautiful great clean spacious park on Lake Toho with playgrounds, a fun water spot to play in, and places to eat. Ice cream trucks are usually there. Great for the family. Restaurants right across the street. Highly recommended.
MoreIve been there last 4th of July and it was my first experience maybe my next time is gonna be better. To many people, long lines for restrooms, disorganized, not enough police officers, a bit dark, to many children, and disability people, so they need more officers to control and more commoditiesfor this type of situations. People dont behave like before so I felt anxious and nervous 😬. I didnt finish the fireworks show, and left 1/2 hour before and Tatatatannnnn Terrible traffic ahhhh I have to mention that not enough spots available for cars jajajaja.
MoreInteresting place to visit away from the theme parks. Wish we couldve spent longer walking along the lake but a storm started. Another time.
MoreVery nice place for a walk, jog, kids playground, kids splash pad, area for picnic, barbecue, party gazebos. They also sell small bites, drinks and ice cream. Lots of shades and area to just sit, converse and enjoy nature.
MoreLakefront park is not a location in which Id recommend someone to drive from a long distance to visit. If youre a local, however, it is a good place to come spend time with family, outdoors.Lakefront has an old, small town feel. There are multiple pavillions to entertain guests and have small gatherings. There is a splash pad and more than one playground for small children to enjoy as well. Claim your spot in the shade early, it can get pretty busy here.
MoreLove this place. If you want to just chill and hang out or walk around. Here you go 🙂
MoreVisiting from NYC. We had a great time at this beautiful park. So much wildlife and places to walk. We even had a visit (from afarwith a fairly large gator. Definitely recommend a visit here.
MoreGreat park I come here not very often but every time I do I always have lots of fun with friends and family awesome for the kids to come and play in their little water park as well as their swings! There is a picture I took of my friend in the sunset time awesome views!
MoreGreat park to take the little ones to . Wide open spaces to run and play, splash pad, climbing / obstacle course and large slides. Historic working lighthouse and numerous native flora and fauna to be observed including alligators in their natural habitat. Bird watching is also good at this area too even without binoculars. Don’t forget the famous pro bass tournament is held here annually. Overall it is the best public park in osceola county and even better than lake Eola ( I know they have swans). Parking is a challenge on weekends, but during the weekdays its not an issue.
MoreGreat park for your family. Free parking and a splash pad for the kids! The scenery here is to die for! ☺☺
MoreSuch a beautiful park, really. I love coming here regardless of what time of day it is. It makes a really nice day park, and in my opinion, an even better night one. Its safe, and the lights at night give it an entirely different atmosphere. I love it.
MoreMy boys love the park! The only thing missing is a place to ride skateboards. There is lots of shade and a big open area with trees for a perfect spot to have a picnic. The views of the lake are nice also.
MoreAbsolutely beautiful. Its nice to see families gathering and having a wonderful time.
MoreAlways beautiful here different playgrounds for the kids! It is a wonderful view being able to walk around the park.
MoreBeautiful peaceful park by the lake. Saw lots of people napping, picnicking, playing games, dancing, and just enjoying being in the florida sunshine. Overlooks large lake where people were kayaking and fishing. Also small lighthouse to see, the monument of states, and veterans memorial. There were ice cream trucks going all around the park. They even had an arts and craft show on the far side of the park. Multiple playgrounds on site and something to do for everybody. Looked like they also have pavilions for rent if you were trying to have a birthday or some other sort of celebration. If you get hungry, try Big Johns rockin bbq across the street! Great place to spend the day.
MoreNice park. Too many people this time all the pavilions were full. So hard to get anywhere but overall nice day with the kids
MoreGreat playground near the lighthouse. Splash pad is on the smaller side, and not open in the winter. You can walk out on the spit to the lighthouse on a cute path with benches. It’s lit up at night.
MoreVery nice park by this lake to walk. They have improved a lot and built new brick walkways, nice playgrounds for children, and it is kept clean. It is near downtown and it has some very artistic views and fantastic mural paintings on building walls. One of many great locations I also enjoy doing my arts and photography sessions!
MoreThe walkway provides breathtaking views of Lake Toho and plenty of spots to sit and relax. Turtles, Herons, gators, fish, Egrets- this is a good place if you enjoy wildlife. Just a short walk from old downtown Kissimmee, with lots of good restaurants and interesting shops.
MoreIt’s better days are gone, but still it is nice to walk with your family. Toddlers can get distracted with squirrels and birds. Playground is not in good condition, I don’t think it is safe for kids younger than 6. There is enough room to be distanced from others.
MoreNice large park area with plenty of pavilions, playgrounds and grass areas. Theres a splash pad and a mini lighthouse thats great for pictures. The walkways encircle the lake. Bathrooms were clean and the area is very picturesque.
MoreVery nice park for a picnic or walk or if you’re having a small birthday party for kids it’s definitely a great area
MoreSuch a beautiful place, but kind of crowded.Lots of plastic bags and empty bottles of water near this amazing area...Disappointed
MoreGreat Park , beautiful views of the Lake. Lots of nice people. Theres a nice playground for the kids. I really enjoyed our time there.
MoreThis park is very pretty and well kept. There are signs to let you know of the wild you may see. I enjoyed my time at this park. The bathrooms are clean. There are cute areas for little Birthday parties or special events as well.
MoreThe Event that I went to attend did an excellent job and keeping the venue organized. Along with the wonderful scenery and clean space that the park had to offer. I hope to go back there in the future! Definitely worth the getaway/perfect place to relax.
MoreJust beautiful. Kissimmee Lakefront Park is a lovely place along the lake. There are pavilions, restrooms, playgrounds, childrens splash park, and a cute lighthouse. This park has nice open lawn spaces for relaxing and grills for cooking out! Sometimes parking can be a challenge but I always find a spot. Lakefront Park is in close proximity to Historic Downtown Kissimmee, we like to have dinner and walk in the park.
MoreBeautiful place. Has parking and bathrooms. Has a little play area for the kids. Can bike or walk. Has plenty of seating. There was a little friend in the water yikes lol. Sorry i had the pics on my other phone hehe. Also had a little snack bar if its not closed when you go. I would come back.
MoreSuper nice for walking and relaxing. Super clean, is a good experience . You can do kayaking and 🚲
MoreThis park can become anyone favorite place. Huge open space great for recreation. You have a close view to the lake that is full of wild life even gators. The open field aloud children to play and run around. You can run a bike, skates or do a family picnic. It have a playground, waterpark and gazebos that can be rented for private activities. Lakefront is pet friendly.
MoreGreat place to bring your family. This place has great picnic areas, clean bathrooms, park sections for the kids.
MoreIt’s a nice park it has benches and even tables to have your gatherings but you have to call office to make your reservations. I did take great pictures and and and I saw a GATOR 😮 how cool!!! It’s a great place.
MoreDo you enjoy sunrises? Well, heres a park with beautiful mornings and relaxing afternoons. This is one of my favorite parks in the Kissimmee and Orlando area. It has a lot of space to walk and many places to sit. Check it out! The sunrise views are worth the early morning!
MoreParking is nice ,perfect day to walk nice breeze over 8000 steps on the walk way The natural scenery is lay out well for visitors and locals to enjoy especially the play area for children and the binoculars to get a good observation of the wildlife and his beauty
MoreMy family loves this place! Playground, splash pad, grills, fishing, walking and more! All around peaceful and playful environment!
MoreThe lakefront is both beautiful and peaceful. So much space for a variety of activities. Fishing, boating, running, walking, BBQing, people watching. You can see alligators in the water if you pay attention and a few wild rabbits rubbing around the bushes. Make sure not to feed the wildlife!
MoreI love taking a stroll thru the park. You meet many great people. The views are breath taking. My son loves the playground areas and the fairly new fishing pier. Its very multicultural. Clean restrooms. Safe environment, you always see park staff and rangers.
MoreVery safe place to take a solo walk or with a group of friends.Perfect place for a date noir or even a family day out out.Picnic areas, nice clean restrooms, a snackShack that sells food, drinks and ice cream.A great splash pad for the kids. Also a great educational way with information plaques throughout the lakefront.*Free admittance*Free parking*Wheel chair accessibleAlso check out the Osceola web page for scheduled events like movie in the park
MoreWhat a beautiful, wonderful place- It is extremely peaceful and quiet at Lake Toho. The soft grass is great to do yoga in, and theres lots of people exercising and walking around- but never too many. Its very calm, peaceful, serene, and safe at night. Expect to see tons of wildlife, including gators, turtles and some wild birds. One of my favorite places/parks Ive ever seen in my entire life. The park is extremely clean, and very well taken care of. The lilly pads on the lake are incredibly beautiful. Theres lots of great views, and perfect photo opportunities. Plenty to see and uncover here for years to come! A big five stars from me. Remember to bring bug spray if you plan on staying in one spot for a while.
MoreBeautiful spacious park. Great place to take kids and/or a pet. Great views of nature and wild life. I highly recommend this park for both tourists and locals. I saw beautiful tress, beautiful birds and even a baby alligator. The splash pad was closed on New Years Day, but probably great place to keep cool in summer.
