Nice bubble tea but wrong size straws. Couldnt drink it properly

(edited my bad review since it seems i was... mistaken?)Theres a disappointing cafe in the same area by the same name that is literally using the same menu pictures... that, or Google has mixed up your menu pictures together, you may want to look into that.

One of the few genuine asian cuisine around... A break from fried foods 😋 Delicious!

Pleasant but simple. Good for cooked meals, little sushi besides some sashimi.

Average food. We had the BBQ pork stir fried Raman and donburi. A little bit too sweet for us. Quick and cheap food.

Food was good, I had the tempura prawn ramen and my partner got the teriyaki chicken don. Price was okay. Main downside was the cold interior and unkempt bathroom

No tuna (my favouriteavailable on the evening we dined. The nigiri and everything else we ordered was very good. I found the califirnia rolls to be too big to manage & rolled quite loosely. One bite and they fell apart. We used the "first table" app. Im not sure I would have gone to this place without the discount. Service was very good.

Ramen was not up to expectations, but manager was very responsive to suggestions. Willing to try again next time Im in town.

I had neverever had this kind of sushi in my life before. ,😩😖Sushi servers with the rice still soft and warm. Terrible 😠I was holding it with a chopsticks and it fall apart, strighst away.😳If u got money go else where.

We had dinner here as we were visiting Taupo for the day. I ordered the Unagi-don and my wife ordered the dragon roll. The eel was tough and chewy, unlike any I have ever eaten before. The roll was humongous, way too large to eat in a bite. The avocado used in the roll was hard and crunchy, rather unpleasant. Our friends ordered the assorted sushi set, the shari appeared far larger than normal. Would not recommend for anyone to dine at.

Great Japanese for a small town. Generous servings and great prices. Very nice service even just before close!

The food is vvvvvv...very delicious! And the sauce is excellent. The waitress is very beautiful. We came to eat several times, and we will come back again!!

Really disappointing. The waitress spoke little English and less Japanese. The restaurant was freezing. The karaage was bland and when we asked for mayonnaise they sent out sesame dressing and on the second request vinegar 😂 the $35 sashimi platter consisted of 8 pieces of hacked up salmon and 3 pieces of tuna.Sorry Kissakai, wont be coming back.

An excellent fusion of modern Japanese cuisine. Went with waitress recommendation and were very impressed. I love my unagi don and salmon roll. A must if in Taupo

Went there for lunch, I order teriyaki chicken don with miso soup. Nice food. Not very big portion but enough for one. Staff are friendly

Walk through few times never eat there before. Yesterday I was attracted by their new design so I walked in. There are dishes different from other sushi restaurants in town. I tried salmon tartare and unagi don. Honestly that’s beyond my expectation very yummy. Will definitely go back try more

So today i ordered an oyako don and california roll, the oyako don is quite nice actually and the staff are nice, they give you water too... but the california roll is not good.. the roll is too big and doesnt taste like anything because it has too much rice..

Ordered two bbq pork ramen soup tonight. The worst food I’ve ever had in Taupo. It might as well have been a pot noodle, a load of tasteless noodles in a bland broth with 4 token slivers of pork and a few sweet corn kernels. $32 wasted. Don’t do it!

Not a good experience. Small portion..Food seems like mixture of Chinese and Japanese (maybe more chinese)

Had lunch special. Portion 3/5. Flavour 4/5. Staff were friendly. Sushi in the cabinet were huge!
