Kiss the Berry South Bank in Brisbane
Description
Privilege
Best acai bowls. Cant believe it closing down :( Service is great.
My favourite place for fruit bowls!
Perfect brunch spot, deliciously beautiful food in a stunning setting, friendly staff, affordable prices
MoreMy friend and I went to Kiss the Berry at Southbank yesterday, we ordered separately and waited over 45mins to find out they had lost both dockets. When they made the new smoothies they then took them to the wrong customer. No compensation was offered for our time lost. We were unimpressed with the service to say the least.
MoreThe food was ok, nothing special about it. It was like having a frappe of blueberries topped with granola, fruits, honey and chia seeds. Also had avocado on toast. I think it’s too expensive for the portion size given. I don’t see what the craze is all about, it didn’t meet my expectations. It was quite busy and they forgot our order, had to wait 30mins.
MoreAwesome place for a snack or breakfast if you are visiting Southbank. Very friendly staff, and very good quality of food.
MoreUnexpectedly attentive service given I assumed a fast food experience. Food is fresh, wholesome and carefully prepared. Excellent value offering a rare combination of healthy yet tasty food (just what we wanted given many recent less healthy meals out on our holiday).
Morenice.. luv it So much.. service is good.
So so so good, I wish they still had the cherry ripe bowl.
Very aesthetically appealing atmosphere and the food and drinks are amazing. And the service is good.
MoreThis place serves great healthy açaí bowls, take away coffee, protein balls and smoothies. A bit expensive but worth it.
MoreGood coffee, nice vib and close to Southbank Parkland. Easy access off Arbor or bikeway.
MoreBeautiful acai bowls, amazing choices!
First time here, great location overlooking the wheel of Brisbane at Southbank. What we ordered did taste great, the staff took our order to another table twice so communication between members might help. It felt a little pricey for what it is but something I would try again
MoreThe service was very good with super friendly staff but the food was less than mediocre. The vegan “waffles” (pluralcame with one waffle and they were very dense. The entire menu is overpriced for what is delivered which is a shame because there are so few places with a variety of vegan options.
MoreTop açai I’ve had across the entire world. Also one of my favorite places as well, just location, staff, and everything design wise is absolutely perfect.
MoreI am only writing this because I have been here 3 times and the behaviour seems consistent:every time I have done here it has taken approximately 15-20 minutes to receive a smoothie, an acai bowl AND a coffee. Keep in mind all these items were all bought on separate occasions. The coffee they actual forgot to make. They are clearly understaffed or just dont have a good system going. Lets keep in mind these are not meals, I should not have to wait this long. The most recent time I went there were only 3 other customers.Further, they are very expensive. $10 for an average sized smoothie which is okay tasting. I wouldnt mind so much if I didnt have to wait so long. But really, every time it is such a huge disappointment. If youre asking why I have gone back so often, I live in the area but even thats not enough to pop in anymore. What a waste of time and money.
Moremy daughter was really excited to come here so we made the trip in , very long wait times -- young staff had no sense of urgency of the long line of people. tasty but not worth $40 for 2 bowls and a coffee
MoreGreat place for a healthy snack. And the kids think they are getting ice-cream.
The acai bowl I had was pretty watery and mediocre tasting especially given the price, and the service took a long time considering how busy the place was (it wasnt). Really nice location though
MoreQuite Long wait 20 min for coffee and smoothie. But Good quality!
Maybe vegan, but not as good as Id hoped, had a really dry carrot cake, tasteless & a very ordinary coffee. I think the dairy free fruit ice cream I bought my 4y.o. was nice, but had chocolate sauce swirled in, which he hates. Cost too much to be so disappointing, didnt complain as trendy young staff seemed innattentive (except to their friends).
MoreAmazing healthy acia bowls and smoothies but way over the top with pricing and granola should not contain egg white. Should go full vegan. Instead of just the option and adding even more to the price.
MoreIt was my first time to try KTB and their Original açai bowl was great! The ambience of the place was perfect for sunny QLD. I loved their quick service as well. I will definitely go back.
MoreThere are ice-cream or in other word froyo ( frozen yogurthere which was very nice with many flavors including the berries flavors ❤️❤️❤️ would recommend trying in a hot weather while sun bathing in the south bank beach
MoreI love this place. Come here with friends nearly every week, food is great.
Love their acai bowls! Theyre not the cheapest around (medium bowls pictured - Snyckers and Citrus Sunshine but theyre the best. I like this location because theres seating and its outside. The location is close to the Wheel of Brisbane. They also have coffee, smoothies, and acai whip. Good for vegans and gluten-free options.
MoreI have to say Kiss The Berry do the best Acai Bowls in Brisbane. Cute looking store front and the food is always amazing. Will keep coming back.
MoreI come here all the time and go for the original bowl: you cant go wrong! This place is great: the staff are wonderful, the music they play is fantastic, and, of course, the food they offer is delicious and nutritious. It is a bit pricey, but its worth the splurge!
MoreThe staff were so helpful. Our kids couldnt decide what to eat but the waitress allowed them to try a few treats before they made their decision. Excellent view if the wheel and surrounding parklands
MoreWe stopped in on a very busy morning and the customer service was still fantastic. Our acai bowls were well presented, absolutely delicious and well priced. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Excellent food. Highly recommended.
MoreOf the 3 things we ordered only one tasted okay. They are watery.
Their Raspberry Lemonade bowl is so tangy and delicious. Perfect way to cool down on a hot summers day.
MoreIt cost $46 dollars for two very tiny acai bowls and a smoothie. The two acai bowls tasted slightly like cough medicine. The smoothie was big and yum but at $10 a pop I wasnt blown away at all. Wont be going to another kiss the berry ever, just way too expensive for the size. The location and staff were lovely.
MoreExcellent breakfast bowl, great spot, just a tad pricey.
Açai bowls aren’t as sweet as I’m used to but very delicious. Great to share! Coffees are okay too for Southbank
MoreThis place has a lot of potential but they could improve with hiring more mature, customer focused staff. Times are also not advertised correctly so dont show up based on these times expecting them to be open.
MoreI visited this place 3 weeks ago and specifically went there to try the acaiwhip. I was told for the second time that it was unavailable due to the machine being broken. Two weeks prior to this i went there for the first time and was told the acaiwhip products had not arrived and therefore it was unavailable. However that day I had an acai smoothie and it was nice and the staff were friendly. The second time my partner and I went we were told the machine was broken so resorted to smoothies instead. I specifically told the staff that there was to be no honey in either of the smoothies and when we received it there was honey in both. By that time we didnt want to go back as they didnt have the first product and who knew if there would have been another error if we went back😕....the positive note is the staff are friendly and the location is lovely....dont think Ill be going back. Also if the machine is down or the products have not arrived for the acaiwhip machine, its not hard to post this on your facebook page to let customers know. I went on it to check and unfortunately there was nothing about this posted up on either day...
MoreTend to end up stopping here every time we come to Southbank. The coffees are nice and the bowls have always been presented nicely and have been delicious. The original bowl is a good choice.
MoreGreat service and amazing bowls, however it is more of a treat because of the food being so expensive for such a small portion. Is located in a great area and would highly recommend, even if just to try.
MoreBest warm banana bread Ive had in Australia so far! The Acai bowls are delicious as well, loved the fresh fruit and coconut yoghurt on top!
MoreOverpriced and the Acai is watered down with a flat taste. Also the staff at the day was slow and didnt seem competent in what they are doing. The presentation was also not as nice as they make it look on the images.
MoreAlright Acai bowl, however not that much value for the money. Will not be going back as other nearby places which offer a better bowl
MoreThey are a little pricey for what they have, but the acai bowls are just delicious! If you havent had one, do try it. Just keep in mind that although they like to market themselves as being incredibly healthy, I am sure they have a lot of sugar.
MoreHad a couple of coffees. And smoothie. My wife loved the coffee and my father-in-law loved his smoothie. Staff were very friendly.
MoreThis is my favourite smoothie place, theyve got a good range and can add protein on request. Coffee isnt anything to rave about, but the smoothies… thats where its at.
MoreFruit was nice. But my bowl was so icy and sour. Probably the worst one yet.
nice set-up however I wasnt happy with my coffee. it was watery.
Best Acai bowls. Love the watermelon bowl & snickers is a guilt free treat
Amazing! Delicious!Super friendly staff. Good vibe and the best acai bowls and smoothies Ive had. 10/10. Every time Im in Brisbane I go back.
