Its a field. The government has spent alot of money organising events in the park, during both summer and winter, including winter iceskating, comcerts, drinking tents etc.

The park is located near the city center. Easy access with bus and tram, with stops right next to it. Very big open spaces and both sun and shady spots widely available. There is a public toilet nearby (glacis parking).

Open park, very clean and green.. nice for picnic, family and friends gathering. If you forget to grab your own coffee then you can do it at nearby coffee kiosks, you can have a nice relax just laying down and sunbathing on natural grass and enjoy the greatness of the fresh air, which is very fresh mich fresher than in other European capitals.. very eco friendly city

The Christmas market in this park during winter is really amazing. You can enjoy your time here with your family, eat and drink too.

The idea of making Christmas skating in the park is genius. The ambience is very cozy because of the park and the Glühwein tastes double good.

A big park in the city center with a lot of places to sit down and have a picnic or to sit down and relax.Be careful at the weekends though as it can be very crowded if the weather is nice

Nice and wide place. Great for kids to run around and adults to relax. The only downside to it is that it gets extremely crowded on weekends and full of bottle caps and cigarette buds.

Nice place for summer and daytime. If you are woman or with family, you should avoid this place at night.

They are not watering the grass, so it gets quite dry during half of the summer.

Kinnekswiss Park is a big park right next to downtown Luxembourg. Its a great spot for picnics and there are occasionally little festivals. The park lacks some monuments and maintenance could be sharper at times.

Nice park. Quite big, in the city center. During summer you will find different ways to entertain like badminton fields, football, volleyball, and so on... You can also take a wooden chair and chill out under the sunAlso a nice place to eat at lunch time :D

Very vibrant park. Went on a Sunday. There is a free outdoor gym and barbeque is possible

Nice place for a little break from work or the city during the day when the weather is nice. Wooden "chairs" available in summer and a lot of benches and space on the grass to sit on. Sometimes a bit too crowded, though - especially during lunch time.

Annual free open air concert

Perfect stop for a picnic. I just wish it could had been bigger like in the past. The park was trimmed down to fit a street for cars... But what its left is still great for a picnic.

Great park in the middle of the city for leisure, sports or relaxation. Close proximity to center city, restaurants and other services.

Wide open park, well maintained and great for open air activities. We went there during a summer open air opera and I loved it every minute. If there is no open air event, it is a great place for a walk or simplyvplating soccer etc with friends.

Great park, right in the middle of the city, always well maintained and clean. Lively in summer and charming in autumn.

Really cool and fun park with a giant Luxembourg sign in it that is perfect for some funny photos. Its also a good spot for a picnic, people playing football or other outdoor games here like Frisbee.

Just a great place for Jogging and lazing in the sun.
