Walford House, Redditch B97 4HJ, Gorom-Gorom
Large, modern covered mall for mainly high-street shops, also offering restaurants, gym and cinema.
Had a very enjoyable day here, under cover from the pouring rain in the multi storey car park. There are lots of different stores & we had a lovely coffee & lunch at the main Costa. Great day out!
Easy to get to, loads of shops to visit, well laid out, good selection of shops.
Parking was easy, shopping a good experience, ate at Prezzo, excellent meal, well served.
Good parking, lots good shops and cafes
There was not a nought shops to go in to for things that I want .thats why I dont go in there very often
Love this shopping centre. Not too busy, only cafe open after 6 was the new Starbucks, so glad they were open.
It could have different shops it all looks the same but nice place to shop
Its the heart of Redditch. Bus and railways station are also very near and accessible and this center cater almost everything to everyone from food stuff to clothing and even banking.
Love car park, could do a bit of hoovering or dusting in it. Other then that a very good place x
I would like to say a massive thank you to the help desk staff at Kingfisher centre for helping me find my lost car keys.I was in such a panic and they helped me in everyway possible. You are all so kind and helpful, thanks again!
Wide variety of shops. Safe environment. Good parking facilities.
Extremely basic.Starting from the parking area where floors arent displaying anywhere until you walk up/down stairs.Basic amount of shops, nothing entertaining
Love love love this place. Everything you need in one place and parking which is very reasonable.
Could beba nice shopping centre, such a shame so many units are closed
Is good shops here I highly recommend. It is big shopping centre here .Have Vue cinmea here .
Not as good as it used to be, empty shops but still has a reasonable variety of outlets. Always clean and tidy, it is airy and spacious.
A great place to shop for everyone. There is a wide range of shops for all your needs. There are lots of places to park and all the shops are under one roof. There is also a vue cinema and many places to eat, drink and have a coffee. There are a few shops just outside the centre and a few more places to eat and drink. The centre is right by the train station bus station.
Was lovely an clean a nice place to go a variety of different shopss well done
Whats happened it done have the same feel pre covid a lot of shops not the same or gone sad was great before used to Xmas shop there not this year I dont think
Met my family to get shoes for grandchildren. Been nearly 3 yrs since I went into kingfisher centre before covid. Lot of changes lots closed down lost its I want to come here again. I worked in centre from 1989 till 2004 in the earley years it was a busy place but it started going down hill. After this visit cant say I would rush back. Lost it sprit no sole. Nothing to say please come back .
Brilliant shopping centre, everything you need, so many shops and eating places.
Great shopping place but wen parking your car take number of cat park down as it took me an hour and a half to find my car lol
A tired shopping complex that has more than its share of coffee shops and a few naff stores. It used to be a pleasure to shop there but all the decent retail outlets have gone, never to be replaced.
A good local shopping centre ,clean with a variety of shopping opportunities (theropy)In addition there are numerous coffee shops and food outlets together with a cinema and banking .The parking is excellent with disability facilities and scooter hire I assume .With direct access into the centre.I have used this centre since the early 1970s when it opened ,sadly I miss the palm trees 🌴 now a coffee and snack barTimes change and floor area use also change. A great place under cover to experience some retail therapy.
The shopping centre is ok. Lots of cafes wish they had marks and Spencer still .
Not a lot to see to many empty shops ,unless you want a phone or something to eat or drink theirs nothing to get excited about 🤨
Used to go here once a week but sadly its not what it used to be, shops disappearing but thats the sign of the times I think, what shops are left are decent though, a big Next, lots of coffee shops, eateries, Big New look, the usual really. Always looks clean, bright and airy 👍
Nice shopping centre but needs a make over. Great parking. Quite a few shops seemed to have gone since covid.
Decent enough shopping mall. Nothing spectacular to mark it out as special. Some coffee vendors need a much faster service
Great shopping centre, it has everything you need and its in a good location. Plenty of food options. Parking is easy but can be quite busy.
Parking always ok. Shame lift was out. Centre is clean and some nice shops
We use it regular for the cinema which is good enough but half price compared to Stratford and when you ave a five year old son a cinema visit can easily end up costing you and your wife £50 plus.🤣🤣
Not to bad could do with some better shops. A lot of the same in there.
Nice clean shopping centre with reasonable parking and prices too.Cinema was reasonable and cosy, not too big. Will be back again.
Its great, u can find a lots of brand there. Have a place where u or your child can have fun. Have few restaurants either.
Its okay but no many good shops there anymore...all the good shops are closed or move to a different town
OMG! Absolutely GINORMOUS! Certainly recommend putting aside a whole day if going for the first time. Most of the shops I use (and there were many), are rather larger than you would think they could be, so Im going to go for at least half a day on my next visit
Strange shape as I feel like I was walking round the same bit! Security guy was helpful as there was no directory and we dont live here so had no idea where stuff was! Found the cinema and McDonalds so that was good! Nice clean place, no hassle with other customers so it was a good experience. Love the app for parking and the contactless payment machines, im all for reducing paper waste! Fast and responsive were the pay machines but better signage saying the car park reference number would be handy and bigger signs showing exit would be useful! But other than that a nice car park!
Not brilliant. Such a pity we have lost so many good shops that bought customers into the centre. Maybe if the rents were lowered the owners of the centre would be able to fill all the empty units. Because before long its probably going to become a ghost town. It is getting to the point where a lot of people are travelling to other places such as Stratford, Birmingham and Worcester to get the shopping experience they want.
I wouldnt say I like shopping centres at the best of times, but I was at a loose end in Redditch, and it was an excellent place to waste time. I visited both Costas, Boots, Vue, and a few other shops to browse. Its a strange layout in the building; its not well designed for shopping, but it attracts plenty of people. If you live in the area, its probably welcomed, but for me, it was merely a good spot for free wifi to watch Netflix and drink coffee!
Solid 3 stars. Easily accessible and some good shops. To be blunt and quite Frank about it, there generally needs to be more different shops (too much coffee/tea, Food, Phone shops, there all very similar and very bland.I prefer shopping elsewhere.
If you are looking at the building from the outside, you would not know that there are so many stores, cinemas, and restaurants in the building. Its a nice place to be at Redditch. All the major retail shops are in there. Shops like Primark, Tk max, Wilko, Superdrug, etc.
This centre is constantly changing!!!For a while it used to feel like just phone shops, then card shops then coffee shops!!For a while we had a great selection of department stores and various smaller treasures, now they have all either moved out again or gone out of business. It is still a bonus being able to stay local, but we must try harder to keep better brands and support small businesses.Centre management should be supporting subsidised rents for locals and keeping services in the centre instead of outside retail parks.
Good shopping Center right in the town Center. Parking is a bit expensive and payment machines are easy to operate and close to the shops. There are some disabled spaces on the same level as the shops, but always very busy. There are spaces on other floors too and the lifts are reliable and clean.(Best shop - Coffee 1)
A lovely clean indoor shopping centre, looked fairly new and a very helpful Kingfisher member of staff helped us as we were new to the area. Highly recommendable with plenty of nice shops including three charity shops. We walked from our hotel Abbey to the shopping centre which took approximately 55 minutes via a housing estate. It was a good walk which plenty to look at on route.Would definitely re-visit this shopping centre.
Good variety of shops, some more wheelchair accessible than others. Disabled parking available in a car park that has a lift that takes you straight to the shops. The centre was clean and tidy and quite a few staff dotted about to help with queries. Toilet facilities were decent. It was fairly busy but we were able to freely go wherever we chose. I imagine this is different during weekends and leading up to Christmas.Very easy reach of public transport with a train station a stones throw away from the centre and a bus station directly underneath. The town centre is just outside the centre.Pleasurable shopping experience. Will definitely go again to look round at more of the centre and possibly the town
Nice large shopping centre. Plenty of shops and also places to eat.
Really good shopping centre, plenty of shops, parking was a reasonable price and i attended a star wars fan group event there ran by "echo base" which was amazing.
It is a good indoor shopping centre featuring many different types of shops for all age ranges and styles. It is clean, well presented and set out with ease of use for the able and less able. Its facilities are kept clean and maintained well as is the shopping centre. It boasts spirit round Christmas with its decorations and grotto and is light and airy all year round. The old and new centre now fit seamlessly together. There is something for all but it is a shame that high street stores are now leaving the Kingfisher. I hope the variety lasts the test of time.
Great shopping centre stacked full of quality shops. Plenty of places to eat and drink and its all under cover.
