We stayed here during the soft opening and again recently. Lovely and quiet place to connect with nature. Staff are excellent.

Terrible experience and definitely not up to the 5 stars standards. The reservations team is extremely unprofessional and very disrespectful (ousama). The hotel’s facilities are overused and the hotel is overpriced. Asked for a late checkout prior to check-in and was told that they cannot confirm it and even if they do, it would be at 1:30 maximum, eventhough I was promised during the reservation a checkout at 2:00 pm. While checking out I messaged for transport for checking out at 1:28, and ended up waiting for 30 minutes until they arrive. They might as well let us stay till 2:00 pm rather than having us waste that time waiting. Terrible hotel, terrible service and terrible infrastructure.

This place is designed like resorts are built in the Maldives. The privacy of the rooms is pretty good but you can still see from the road as our unit wasnt totally surrounded by the wallThe place is also still under construction and the main path has one material wall hiding the ongoing work, the fabric is in a bad shape: that isnt providing the 5 star quality reading that the resort achieves easily in the main building or rooms.If these arent an issue, then please know that food and staff are great. Access to the beach really easy and you can walk a long way along the shore before you reach the end of the island.This will be a great location once its completed.

I booked for two nights and we enjoyed every single minutes. Everything was perfect. And thank u for the good price that u give to me, and special thanks to Maher who was our guide and to manager mr.Joseph.By the way this was my third time I booked there 😁 and wait for me next year too 👍

Everything is beautiful in this place, we had so much fun, the staff was amazing very welcoming and helpful (Haris was our guide, Ragab and Tomasimi Moh Shareef are the best waitersgreat service! The food was very delicious. The only thing we didn’t like is the pool size, however the new villas will have bigger pool.

I’m m so grateful to choose this resort it was an excellent get away from the city life for me and my husband,. We booked one bedroom with the private pool.Everything was perfect from the reservation , big thanks for Mr. Osama who was very helpful on the call. all the activities available and instructions were emailed and sent by what’s up before our arrival .as we arrived every staff were super welcoming. And Mr Haris amazed us with his kindness and hospitality he took good care of us since day one.The room was super clean and bigger than expected. Everything was available in the room coffee machine ,water, clean towels, snacks, cold room , bicycles… etc.. We didn’t face any problems with Insects or mosquitoes. The food in the dinner buffet and breakfast was good enough for me. Overall a great experience and definitely going to come back again. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for making our weekend extra special.

An absolute secret tip for a relaxing holiday stay on the beach in UAE. Most of all stand alone tents have sea view and a private pool. The tent villa is super clean. The service is the best of all hotels in UAE in my opinion. The food is very good, especially the dinner variation made by the Chef Amit is excellent and very tasty. There are very few things to improve on a very high level. The pool, outside shower and terrace area should be unobservable from the villa entrance area. If this will be fixed, the Kingfisher Retreat is among the high end Retreats here in this country. But many thanks for our best hotel stay since years and we will certainly come back. Dr.Christian

We had a very relaxing stay. Rooms are very unique. The beach view and the mini pool gives a very serene feeling. Food is great and we had unlimited ice cream in the afternoon.Enjoyed the biking (free bikes), sanctuary tour and the mangroves tour.Staffs are above and beyond. Its took me 6 times call to find someone pick the phone !! In the website they offer half board with 25% off if you book 3 nights or Fazaa card ,when I call thy dont have any ideas moreover thy just said (ok room with breakfast only ! )without the 25%1st empression. ..last empressionNot a trusted reservation staff

Second time here. Awesome. Whole private peninsula, fabulous service. Our butler Zahid was just great. Fantastic sense of privacy- just 20 tents in this wide beach. Nice mangrove center opened recently nearby. Crabs didn’t come unlike our previous visit when there were crowds of them(

My wife and I booked one day check in and check out can be done in your tents which makes it quick and better the place is really quite ,friendly stuff, we had full border food was perfect and they got many , many activities best for us was aquarium , Mangrove forest and archery the only issue was we booked for one day next time won’t make this mistake 👍🏼Thanks to Mr Ayoob

Not a 5-star by far…The resort infrastructure is in a bad state, shower mid-warm water, the private pool is ice cold, food quality is below average (old bread! little choice), parking on an unpaved gravel strip, loud noise at night from the pool pump and construction work (incl bulldozersstarts at 8am to happily wake you up!Never again, enjoy spending 2,5k a night!

It was a pleasant experience. Everything was great. Starting with the staff Mr Joseph and Mr Mohammed for their warm welcome and continuous follow-up to make sure everything is going well; to the activities, we tried the archery and KD was of a great support and a good tutor; to the very yummy food. Hats off to the chef! Thank you so much for this great experience. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed in Kingfisher Retreat for our anniversary. The location and the property is fabulous. The check-in and check-out was quick and efficient. Every room comes with a plunge pool and the room and the bathroom is spacious. We absolutely loved our room and the views. It is a very unique resort and we enjoyed our stay. The only downside was that their restaurant offered buffet food. The service and hospitality was wonderful.

The stay in kingfisher retreat was truly magical, from the kind and helpful staffs to amazing sunrise and clean and luxurious living space under a private tent with our own plunge pool. The place looks like it has been built around nature preserving its beauty yet giving the feel of luxury and five star experience to guest. All staffs from cleaners to managers were kind and very helpful and very accommodating.. for such a serene setting, such kind and helpful staff is a plus…we are a family with 3 kids who thoroughly enjoyed the biking, shell collecting and crab watching experience. Thank for you giving us such an a amazing time.

The Kingfisher Retreat was magical. The private luxury tents, with plunge pool and gorgeous sunrise views was relaxing and restorative. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and healthy. It was a wonderful experience!

This place is absolutely breathtaking! Great service, everyone is attentive and does their best to give a memorable experience. For me and my partner was a unforgettable weekend, lovely beaches, privacy, great experiences and activities to do, they took care of our romantic dinner request in the loveliest way! Thanks a lot guys for giving us such attention and personal level of commitment to our stay. Cant recommended this place more, true it maybe a bit experience but is worth every dirham paid!

Very nice place, the tents are very nice and the quality of it is amazing. The staff where extremely friendly especially mr ayoob he was very helpful and friendly. Also he gave us a tour at the place. I love how when we checked out we forgot something at the tent and when i called to ask he had kept it safe for me. So his really trustworthy. Also mr. Haris and mr Joseph where very friendly and helpful. Thanks

Positive - Kids enjoyed the private pool and had an amazing time. Beach and pool is definitely worth the stay. This is our second visit. Activities are really fun. Hotel management Ms.Emma took care of us throughout the stay. She would even message us time to time asking if we need anything. Given that you cannot really access anything outside the hotel you are dependent on the staff to help you with all matters. Emma was very proactive and caring and sorted all our requests.Stuff that needs work - the room needs some upgrading. There is mold on the tent at many places, bit dated and dirty. They could add some more amenities since you are paying almost 2k for a night stay. Deck lights were not working. And the pool and outdoor deck etc requires maintenance and cleaning. Boat pick up and drop off was not arranged properly. We had to wait in the boat for ten mins for the driver to arrive and it was 1pm and hot 🥵. Last point is the construction ongoing, the staff did inform us upfront about some road works ongoing and it didn’t really bother us at all, however there were workers sitting and resting in the front side of our room and that was a bit odd.

This was my second time in Kingfisher retreat and this time as well a remarkable unforgettable time .. initially i was upset over something however the team were handling it very well. From the Hotel manager Mr.Nitich & The manager Mr.Joseph to Mr.Maher who was responsible about my stay..they made everything and made me and my family happy to maximum.The retreat is very clean and nice.The housekeeping very fast and maintain very well and cleanThe food ( my choice was half board was everyday is different and the. The place is great, you get the feeling that you are living in the nature. They have lots of activities in the retreat, which is amazing for those who like to stay busy. The food wasn’t at all the level of a 5 star hotel, the food was full of oil, not tasty. Honestly, won’t be staying again unless that they change the food, as when staying for full board you’re expecting a tasty amazing food, and this is missing. I hope that they do something to the food thing, as it’s affecting the whole experience.

Uninterupted sea view of the Gulf of Oman with no loungers, no trash and no people. Excellent for a quiet restorative stay with your own plunge pool (ambient temperatureand the most efficient and well trained staff you may ever find in the UAE. Highly recommended for couples. Note! this property is in Sharjah so is dry. The term minibar is not what it normally means.

Stayed there for a night. Sea view facing tent. Beach right at the doorstep and private pool attached to the tent. Very tranquil and peaceful. I went for half board and room service brought the dinner and breakfast to my tent. Great experience. Will definitely go back. Special mention of Refaat who was very professional in his duties. Very smooth experience from check in to check out. No complaints.

Resort was great, calm out of hustle bustle... food was yummmmm and activities were also exciting. The only problem was mosquito, it was horrible and troublesome.. great staff and best place to chill and relax apart from mosquitoes

We had an amazing experience! The resort is private, clean, safe with an lovely view! A great place to relax and enjoy the nature.The tent is cozy, very well decorated and comfortable, just in front of the beach. The private pool is a gem few steps away from the door.Excellent service! All the staff was very caring, always available and attentive to our needs.Food was delicious, fresh and tasty!Every details in the property are well planned for the guests needs.We really enjoyed our stay! Definitely highly recommended!

The place is nice but let me be honest here, there are few points that should be reconsidered again✅Good points :1super good stuff with good treatment and fast service2the activities is cool and wish to be more and more in the future3)all facilities are well prepared and the tent from inside is just fantastic and relaxing4the food is fairly good too❌Points to put in consideration:1the pool is way far to be private , its covers by some bushes which gather insects all way round + its not well covered2the room service comes without any further notice + the phone calls that come from the reception asking for rating etc..3the lack of privacy cause us to close all the curtains so we cant enjoy the view most of the time

Very bad experience i had with this place , check in time is 3 , I reach 4 .. until 5:30 the room still bot ready . The golf car stopped suddenly they picked me up with another one also was almost damaged. The resort management is so bad ! The room was bellow expectations !! The swimming pool small and dirty!! I hate the place and I took my bags and I canceled my reservation!! 3,800 for this is too much, I recommend going to Ritz Carlton and pay less with perfect stay!

We were looking for hotel with a private swimming pool so we chose this hotel ... it was amazing romantic place wonderful and natural view... dinner and breakfast are served to your room if you want .. you can ride bikes for free .. you can walk on the beach as well ... I really enjoyed there

Fabulous place! Make sure you visit in winter and avoid summertime! Good service, privacy, you will enjoy the private beach and your own pool! Many activities in the resort! I was lucky to be invited to private dinner and they did great job!

Me and my Mom stayed in 1BR villa in early October, 2020. The idea of the hotel is nice and it is definitely a good experience given all else is in order. First of all, villa pools are small, but the worst part was that our pool wasnt even cleaned prior to our visit. There were a couple of plastic bottles in our pool and the pool was very sandy. Secondly, we were not taken to the hotel by a boat but by a buggy through a dusty road in the 35C degree heat! I understand that construction and stuff happens, but you need to at least inform your guests about it. And most importantly, the beach was black and dirty because of oil spill a couple of month ago. The beach had a red flag 24/7. That is the one thing you should definitely inform your guests about! This was a B-day gift for my Mom and she is a beach person, and can you imagine our disappointment when we found out we couldnt swim! The entire beach was black, and it was filthy and dirty and packed with plastic bottles as if it has never been cleaned before! From the small things - check-in took forever, we were told the same things 10 times and by 3 different people. Check out was quick, we didnt have to go to the reception, however the buggy stopped at the reception (mind you it was 35+ degrees outsidebecause the manager wanted to know our opinion of the hotel! in the heat! Ive stayed in many luxurious hotels in the UAE, this by far was the most disappointing one. I put 3 stars for the service only because of room dining and breakfasts, which were actually good.

Amazing experience... where can I start?! The staff handling the booking were very professional and helped me find a suitable reservation. They followed up before my arrival by sending me the map and all details on whatsapp. The resort itself was heaven! I visited the resort with my 3 kids. The resort was child friendly... and so were the entire staff. Our 3 bedroom tent was very comfortable. In fact, the beds were one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in my life! The food came in generous portions and was delicious... to be honest... this resort was very generous with complimentary water bottles and mini bar goods. The views were breathtaking...standing in front of the tent you can see the mountains and the sea... I highly recommend this resort and would definitely visit again.

Amazing experience with beduin style tents. Tents are very luxurious and gives you super privacy. They facing ocean so if you are early bird you can watch sunrise every morning. The food is delicious. All staff is extremely nice and kind. The best part is own swimming pool. Every tent has bicycles so you can take ride every evening and explore little.

Beautiful lodge... the Bedouin style tents and their surroundings are idyllic and perfectly complying with the nature reserve concept. Food was great...staff were very friendly and each went out of their way to provide a smooth experience, whilst keeping us safe :)

I stayed for one night. My lodge was on the mountain side. I liked the experience as an overall. Ill put my comments for improvement as follows:1-The swimming pool could have been bigger for summer season with temperature control.2-The food variety could be more for dinner.3-Cinema under the stars should be bigger with better quality projector.I liked both sea and mountain views.

Worth every penny! A luxurious experience within a tasteful eco-friendly setting. If youre looking for something beyond the typical hotel stay, this is it! The premises are gorgeous, the staff is so welcoming and courteous - they truly understand the meaning of hospitality. Perfect to disconnect, and if you get bored, theres a list of activities to keep you engaged. Loved every minute we spent here and so impressed that such a cool concept hotel exists here in the UAE. Amazing place with a very different vibe. The hotel has all facilities you need and its environmentally friendly. The whole experience was unique and we were impressed by the service and how the staff personalized our stay.

Cozy, intimate and clean.Luxury Camping tents concept, very successful idea, and i will love to come back again after the official opening of the place in coming October 2018.My unit was not 100% sealed, however the staff are well trained to take care of approaching.. hosts are all females for better privacy of modest families.Lifeguard services are available on the open beach.I hope this place maintains the quality and further improve it, good luck.
