Lovely staff and I was there with a friend of mine . I got him a brownie and asked them to put a candle in as it was his birthday. They said no problem and asked what was his name . I told them and thought no more about it. The staff came to the table signing Happy Birthday. Such a lovely touch and everyone joined . So lovely.
MoreExcellent service. Quality food. Great coffee.Highly recommended the tea rooms. Cant attend the farmer Market without popping in.
MoreLovely place for home cooked meals 👍👍👍
Tastey homemade pastries and good coffee served by attentive staff.
Great service and excellent food
Was able to stop here for lunch while on vacation and traveling through the town. The food was extremely fresh and was so good! I wish we had a place like this near me back in the states . They made the best club sandwich ever! Will be back if I can!
MoreLovely setting, but attention to detail was sadly missing. Waited a good while to be served, had to go to get member of staff, but it wasnt busy with lots of staff on duty. Butternut squash soup was a little watery and the brown bread was a little dry. Tables werent cleared and the one I sat at was sticky. (Dead wasps on the windowsill). I will try the venue again and hope this was just a bad day.
MoreGreat food and the friendliest staff. This place is pet friendly and serves up good grub with a smile. Would recommend!

Great spot for a coffee. The ladies working there were super friendly. My latte was lovely and my son enjoyed his scone.
MoreAlways love coming here for coffee.Lovely staff, & the tarts, scones r to die for. I love the toasted sandwiches. Coffee is lovely too. Best of all they allow dogs which is a big plus, & even provide doggy biscuits at the door.Well done everyone.

Great place to eat for Coeliacs, catered for Gluten-free needs really well.

MoreLovely smell when you walk through the door... nice environment to sit....lovely nostalgic China...good food good prices.
MoreFood and coffee are always lovely here. The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. There is a lovely outside area to enjoy as well as indoors. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be back
MoreHas such potential but floors not clean, no toilet seat in bathroom and cake was dry! Coffee, sandwich and staff was lovely though!
MoreLovely little spot. Have a coffee..have something nice with it. Lunch is great too...There is something here for everyone....stop off next time you are in area

Morelovely food, friendly staff and excellent service!!
A welcoming place, with friendly staff. Great service and excellent food.
Visiting this tearoom was an above average (and tastyexperience. The tea rooms are cosy and comfortably elegant; fitting for a teahouse on the grounds of King House in County Roscommon. There is an interesting variety of teas and coffees and a hidden gem of a lunch menu.Proprietor Dorothy and her team are pleasant, gracious and attentive.Salads were fresh, with a tangy house dressing and the toasted sandwiches were to die for. There were also a couple of starter style dishes present on our table, a goats cheese tart and smoked salmon on soda bread. The pastry on the former was simply perfect.Worthy of note; our friend Eric is of limited mobility, and was able to access the table without any hindrance whatsoever.A must-have pit-stop on anyones travel itinerary, highly recommended.
MoreLovely little place unfortunately though advertising various coffees didnt know how to make them and they were simply awful. Looking at other people who were having breakfast the food looked very good but we didnt have time to try it
MoreLovely staff, nice atmosphere and a willingness to make sure you get what you want. I wanted a decaff coffee and chicken tikka salad wrap toasted they did not have any tikka but came back with a different suggestion from the kitchen and it was the nicest wrap I ever got out.
MoreGreat food and lovely service. Then into the 17 century King House for a tour. A lot of history attached to this house. Theres donated gifts from Mary McAleese which she received while serving as our President.
MoreAmazing location outside King House. Service with a smile and great value to be had for lunch. Food is wholesome and packed full of flavour! Outdoor seating is very comfortable and they have plenty of parasols to keep the sun or rain off you. Great place to stop for lunch and before a visit to the must see King House.
MoreLovely place, a bit pricey but lovely and tasty food. Good service, lovely staff.
MoreStunning location and great facilities for walk walkers
Stopped for lunch here after a visit to King House. Lovely little cafe. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice lunch.
MoreBrilliant food, you get a lot for you money. Not a bit overpriced
It was a lovely place to stop to have a bite to eat. The staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back again 💕💕
MoreI dont like giving bad reviews but I found the staff very young and in experienced and unable to understand you cant serve a hot sandwich then leave it for five minutes to serve the coffee ordered with it
MoreWonderful little tea room on the grounds of Kings House. Fantastic selection of food. The cakes and sweet treats are divine.Well worth a visit.
MoreThis was a very cosy cafe the staff were super friendly and attentive. The service was very good and quite speedy. I like to say however that the toilets were not the best.
MoreWow! The food was spectacular! I thought, being a coffeehouse/cafe feel, that it would be a light snack, but I was wrong. Lattes were good and the goat cheese tarts are my new favorite food. Thanks for the great experience! Sweet potato soup was solid too. 👌🏼
MoreStaff were unpleasant. Very poor selection of gluten free options, even though the sign outside said gluten free options. Soup and sandwiches and only one cake available . The gluten free bread fell apart, even though it was toasted. It stated on the notice board, all cakes come with cream, but my cake did not, when I asked for some I was given a tea spoon full.
MoreFantastic little cafe in a beautiful courtyard. Extremely pleasant team of people working there and nothing was too much trouble. Our classic car club was in the area for a few days - we ended up visiting 2 days in a row as it was so good!
MoreGood selection of soups, sandwiches and salads. Has kids (limitedkids menu and standard range of hot drinks. A little disappointed to find that this tea room didnt really have any tea! Only a selection of off-the-shelf generic teas (peppermint, camomile, green, etc). Still rated 3 stars for the lovely atmosphere, cute furniture, etc
