King's Wok in Waukesha

Kings Wok Pewaukee in my opinion has the best fresh, hot Chinese food in town.The lunch buffet is small, but has the perfect amount of variety of food.My personal favorite is the bourbon chicken! The staff are very accommodating, and friendly.

The food was hot for a long time after I brought it home. My wish for additional veggies was granted. Love this place. Thank you!!!

Ordered beef with mushroom - THE most rubbery, tasteless, chewy beef I believe Ive ever tried to eat.Kept trying to find one tender piece - not to be found. Egg roll is mini sized - didnt find out till I got home.Very disappointed.

The food at the buffet is always fine. But I just cant get over the consistent dinginess of the place. It was always a little sweaty and rough around the edges, but after being closed for 2 years with covid youd think they would have cleaned up more. The bathroom looks like they literally just painted over dirt. The sink area reminds me of something youd find in an old wet basement.

Ordered chicken with Chinese vegetables and sesame chicken. Both were very good. Chicken was tender and juicy. I asked for spicy and they actually added some spice, thank you.Young man taking the order was very helpful and courteous.On a side note Kings Wok, Time to update that big old picture on the wall, is faded and the fluorescent lights are shining through so it looks like lines across there. It looked really beautiful and awesome one time... Many years ago.

They have the best pork fried rice.

Had high hopes but alas I was disappointed. Ordered simply fried wontons appetizer (#7 menu). If you are looking for the taste of just fried wonton wrappers it would be perfect for you. The wontons had barely any meat in them which was quite dissapointing and what was in there was so tough to chew. They were fried fresh, service was quick and she was courteous but for food it wasnt even close to minimal expectation.For those reading and seeking a dine in establishment, they currently have the dine in blocked off and are only doing carry out.

One of our favorite restaurants in Pewaukee. Just had their Hot n sour soup. So delicious. I love having it when I feel a little under the weather or feel like having Chinese. Also love the Hunan Chicken. One of the best. We all like King’s Wok in our home.

Does not take order properly. Pictures on the website are all wrong. It says noodles but they just make something else. When called back the lady was so rude and did not care to say sorry.

I ordered LUNCH. During the LUNCH time. 11-3pm. And got charged the full-menu dinner price. 5 dollar difference.The whole restaurant is closed off. They must be hurting. And are charging full price for all items.

Not good at all. The only item I like there is egg foo young and it was horrible the last few times.

I eat here for lunch pretty often. For the money, you cant beat their lunch specials. Always hot and delicious. The inside is not open, so dont expect to dine in. Order ahead on the app/website at least 15 minutes ahead and you will walk up, get your food, and be on your way in a minute.

Best Chinese Food restaurant that I have been to in Waukesha County! General Tso, Pork Egg Foo Young, and Beef lo mein are all amazing!

Best Chinese food in sussex/pewaukee/waukesha area. I would also venture its better than oconomowoc but I never tried any there after finding kings wok

Excellent Chinese food. Ive only ordered takeout, but from what Ive seen, the staff have been great. Try the mongolian beef, its great!

Food was tasty, the place is on the small side so the buffet is small but it is topped off nicely, and everything is really good. Perfect place for lunch. Wish I could give it a 4.5 star review but no option.

The sweet and sour chicken as well as the general chicken were very good. The rice was over cooked and dry. Not a really good option to refill drinks. Good value for the price

Walked in and ordered to-go..the food was ready in about 20 min. and it was fantastic! The place was clean, the portions were generous and prices were reasonable!

This is the best place! They are super nice! They accommodated our special requests for food low in salt -a steamed veggie dish w/out sauce, no mushrooms on any dish, and no zucchini on my husbands dish. We are a large quantity family and they always treat us great every time. Our kids like the white rice mixed with veggie fried rice and chicken almond ding. Sometimes we eat in but mostly take out.

Try the lunch buffet. Extremely reasonable all you can eat buffet. Friendly service. Great food!

Kings Wok is a small buffet focused restaurant. There is carryout and a menu to order from, aside from the buffet. They have recently refreshed the interior, tables, and chairs. The food is reliably good. Been coming here for lunch for over 10 years.

First time here, for supper. Two dishes for us, both delicious! It appears to be a very industrious, hardworking, polite family. Well definitely be back. We ate in, but plenty of people were picking up takeaway orders. Looks like a buffet lunch offering, too.

Great buffet, family owned and operated. Traditional Chinese American food. Crab rangoons are the best in the county. You will not go away hungry, most portions are 2 meals worth.

Stopped in for the lunch buffet. Cant go wrong for only $7.20! Food was hot and fresh. Overall the buffet line is small but they do provide a daily menu with rotating items so you can plan to eat there on certain days. Interior was also recently refreshed and is very clean.

Disgusting. No or very little food on the buffet line. Rice over cooked and almost inedible. Gave one star simply because I cant do any less. Rude cashier, expensive for what is offered. Dirty tables. Dont come here if you dont want food poisoning.

This is the BEST asian food in the area! You can order online and even have it delivered!!! My family has neen going here for over 10 years! Family owned and run, tons of food and fair prices! I highly recommend!

My visit there during lunch, this establishment has a open lunch buffet. The staff diligently maintained the the food & beverages, it was stocked for all customers.

Ive been going to Kings Wok for many years. Its a typical small buffet at lunch time. On my recent visit several items were nearly gone, not a problem, my son and I got plenty to eat. I didnt go back for another plate so they very well could have been restocking right behind me.

This place is pretty small. We went for the lunch buffet and the rice was so dried out it was hard and barely edible. The selection was small and not that great. I would not recommend this place. Go across the street to Asiana and for a little more money you can get an amazing meal in a beautiful restaurant. Havent tried this place for takeout, but probably never will.

Awesome buffet, reasonably priced. They have a pretty large menu as well.

The sweet and sour chicken is so good! I order online and my food is always ready right when I get to the restaurant. Reasonable prices for the amount of food that you get.

Average Asian fare, strangly they never toss in freebies on big orders like other Asian take out restaurants do. Usually you gifted some sugar donuts or egg rolls if you spend over like 50 bucks.

Good food. They have a buffet that is reasonable priced that you can eat there or take in a box to bring back to the office. Everything that I tried was good.

Great little place. Sauces were very tasty. Quantities were good, egg rolls were piping hot. When you ask for extra spicy, they really deliver..will be back.

The quality of the food is fantastic. The buffet is small, maybe about 20 items that change daily. Rather than a large buffet with mediocre food they do a small amount of items and do them well. They also have a full menu available to order from for done in or carry out.

I ordered the sesame chicken blindly as someone had just picked it up for me while I was busy. It was very bland and the sauce was way too thin. No breading??? Id rather eat McDonalds chicken.

Kings Wok has been my very favorite Chinese place for better than 8 years... but Ill never go back again. Ive made note that the place seems to get dirtier and dirtier every time I go in... and the last time, I watched a man sweeping up under the tables and pushing roaches along the floor... not killing them or being discreet... more playing with them. Theyd start running for cover and hed bring them back into the debris pile with his broom... over and over. As I watched this going on in the main dining room, my appetite for my to-go order diminished rapidly. I dont think Ill go back. Look, roaches can happen and I understand that... but playing with them while theres somebody at the take-out counter seems to indicate that its a regular thing. I WILL miss their food... but once youve seen roaches in there, you just cant un-see it.

I love Kings Wok! Its my familys and my favorite Chinese restaurant. Food is always hot, tasty, and their sweet and sour chicken is perfectly crunchy. The people that own the place are very nice, too.

Place used to be great. Last time I ordered the beef it was tough and tasted awful adn crab ragoon was not fried completely and cold. Buffet was good last time i had it.
