Kimchichanga in Riverside

Nice atmosphere and a full bar. The menu was a little more limited than I would have liked. The food was good, but not outstanding, and I thought it was a little overpriced for the quality of food.

Awesome place!! I brought a date for dinner and we both loved it! Ill be back 😎

Our server Louis made our night! He made sure NO sesame seeds were added to ALL our food so that we could SHARE with each other (one person has Crohns).The house salsa is a secret recipe we were told--I suspected tamarind and they would neither confirm nor deny! You must try it with the chips at least!!Everything was DELICIOUS and I cant wait to go back and try other dishes.

Food is fusion asian/mexican to me. It is pretty good. For some reason the service was slow in the afternoon today. I will definitely come back

The presentation of the food was amazing, and it tasted even better than it looked. I did not think it was possible considering it already looked very good.

Let me start off by saying that there was no issues with the service service was great. As far as a food goes, this place left a lot to be Desiring. Concept is great, however, the flavors as well as a freshness were quite lacking. Wont likely be returning.

I have to say that I just went there twice, they charged me more than the signed amount twice. I realized this issue by checking my bank statements, since this issue is not just happened once for me in this restaurant, and I never have this issue for the previous restaurants I have been to, I don’t think is out of careless. Because I never prepared for such issue, I don’t have the picture for these two receipts, but I would recommend everyone take a photo of your signed receipt before give it to them.

It was a different atmosphere than Im used to. Had the sports bar feel to it with a mid-level restaurant setting. Food was pretty good! Waitress was very friendly!

The drinks were amazing my friend ordered for me a arnoldo Palmer and my God was it good it tasted like a Mexican candy that I love and their cooked burrito was fire af too! Also their cooked mushrooms and jalapeños were amazing too overall the service was amazing

Terrible service, we didnt have silverware or napkins. Improper handling of drinks. terrible food, it was salty and just not good. Waste of $60 plus the tip. The beer was the only good thing.

This is an Asian Mexican fusion restaurant that cannot be missed, especially for those who enjoy kimchi! This is a family owned and operated business. They started out in another location and built themselves a following for a good reason! You can view their menu on kimchichanga.com and order for pick up or delivery, but my husband enjoy the bright decor and eating at the restaurant. They have a variety of salads, tacos, burritos, rice bowls, and sandwiches. It’s really wonderful to see a place whose quality food is so original and creative, kind of like a specialty food truck without the wheels! My personal favorite is the Korean barbecue taco, but I’m definitely going to be trying other menu items!

I have been going to this place since before they moved locations. The food has always been great; the quality has remained consistent. The only downsides are the wait times and how expensive it is. I do not mind the wait time, but when it comes to the prices: I would only recommend coming here when you have the money to splurge. Other than that, the food here really is amazing.

Delicious fusion of Korean and Mexican food. Had the KBBQ California Burrito. It was really good and I cant wait to come back and try other food. Picked up a loyalty stamp card since Ill definitely be coming back.Update:I went back and tried the Bibimabap Burrito with spicy pork. Very good and not too spicy for me, but some might think so. Glad to come back again cause Id been craving it. Noticed happy hour is all day on Sundays and Mondays so hopefully my next visit will be on a Monday.

The food was incredible. Everything was super crispy tempura styled and served right out the frier fresh. I had ordered their signature kimchi changa burrito and some jalapeño poppers! The servers were super friendly, and the food came faster than expected. I definitely recommend this spot to all the riverside locals. There was another mexican korean fusion spot in the area that was nowhere nearly as good.The only downside is that the meat seems like it could be marinated more, and I was surprised to not get any actual kimchi with my "kimchichanga". My partner and I both noted this. Ive been betrayed here (joking).As a side note for finding this place easier, its on the backside of the inner plaza. Go around and keep going past the other restaurants. I almost thought this spot was replaced!

Walked in, got to pick where we sat, no one was there. Ordered the waitress was so nice and sweet. The food was great. I loved all the vegetarian choices. I will be going back!

I decided to try this place after it caught my eye while driving by and let me just say They did not disappoint. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I ordered a drink that wasn’t listed on the drink menu but the bartender had no problem making it for me. The food menu has a little bit of everything and the prices are reasonable. They also have a happy hour menu, which is always a plus. All in all I was very impressed with my overall experience here

Warning: the food here is HEAVY and a bit much. But absolutely a must try. Especially the kimchi burger. At the very least try that!The rest is very interesting but like I said, very heavy so if you can fight through feeling like a bit much I suggest trying the more new and unique things one at a time per visit.

Kimchichanga had a new location and you got to try this place. Their signature dish is the Kimchichanga which similar to a chimichanga but with a Korean twist, and I got to say I was craving another one the next few days. The Mexican pizza is also good along with their Kimchi Rice bowl. If want a unique dining experience, Kimchichanga is the place for you. You also park in the theater parking because the restaurant will validate your parking ticket.

I have driven by this place many times, and we decided to finally try it out. All i can say is. WHY DIDNT I TRY IT OUT SOONER?! The food here is amazing! The staff are nice and friendly in the front and at the bar. The food is a fusion of mexican and korean cusine done right. The fries and kimchichangas are fried to perfection. You dont get that greasy aftertaste you usually do from other fried foods. Everything was packed full of flavor. 100% would recommend it to anyone.

THE RESTAURANT IS BEAUTIFUL WITH A GREAT VIBE AND THE STAFF ARE SUPER FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. WE ORDERED SEVERAL DISHES, IN WHICH SOME WERE ESPECIALLY GOOD. WE HAD THEIR SUPER NACHOS W/BULGOGI WHICH WE LOVED. WE ALSO HAD THE 4 TACO PLATTER WHICH WAS ALSO A BIG HIT. MY HUSBAND HAD THE CUBAN SANDWICH WHICH WAS OK. AND I HAD THE CALIFORNIA BURRITO WHICH ALSO OK BUT NOTHING SPECIAL. THE BOMB APPATIZER WAS ALSO REALLY GOOD. AS FOR THE DRINKS WE LOVED THE THAI MILK TEA AND THE MANGO SMOOTHIE. OVER ALL GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WOULD GO BACK TO TRY DIFFERENT ITEMS

I love the food here! Everything is very flavorful. Congrats to them on the new location, we’ve been eating here for years. A hidden gem in Riverside & we always tell others about.The customer service is great, we’ve called ahead a couple of times & there hasn’t been an issue. The food is always packaged well & everything is always sooo good! Our go to is the Cali Beef Bulgogi Burrito or the Kimchichanga. You won’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

New location.. so I reviewed....very nice..open bar. If your looking for something different this is your spot.. korean-mexican Fusion... we ordered the the K BBQ California burrito with spicy chicken.. the kimchichanga with bulgogi beef my favorite..also jalapeno bombs. To drink we got the passion fruit slushie.. with green apple pearls..very good.. french fries.. nice staff very friendly.. only thing about this place is that they didnt have a kids menu.😶

Great atmosphere, this place is a perfect fusion between Mexican and Asian cuisine. I love the kimchichanga with the Bulgogi! Their flavors never fail to explode with a great impression. And if you have any questions on what tastes good or what is popular never be afraid to ask because their team is very helpful in helping you decide what your new favorite will be at this restaurant.

I LOVE THIS PLACE ! Today, my boyfriend and I were looking for a place to dine after the movie theater and were looking for something different in the area. Little did I know this place existed and so we checked it out. Although it was a bit empty in the night time, it was a great first experience ! The workers are so kind, especially Tifanny. She was such a sweetheart and helped us so much 😊 The food was delicious and new, music choice was excellent, ambience was relaxing , and the movies they were playing kept us entertained. I honestly didnt want to leave xD Cant wait to come back again !

👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 We experienced a ‘rush’ of disappointment with the ‘inventive’ fusion of kimchichanga and kimchi burger. We called the order and the woman replied that it would take 20 minutes. When we arrived 20 minutes later, there were people waiting outside to order. I walked in and the cashier told me only one party at a time is allowed even if I pre-ordered. I waited 15 minutes outside to pick up my order. At this point, the food has been prepared and getting soggy. By the time, we arrived at our destination 1.5 mile away, the French fries and the sweet potato fries were soggy. The paper bag that had the sweet potato fries was totally wet and disintegrated. Kimchi burger was very salty. Chimichanga was greasy and the bulgogi was gristly. To call the meal mediocre would be a generous assessment. 👎🏼

Awesome flavor and great concept but it took a while to get our food. We waited 30 mins which seemed way too long for a fast casual spot.The kimchichanga was excellent but they could have included more bulgogi. The cheesesteak was great but it’s on a bun which was somewhat unexpected.Regardless of my experience, it’s definitely worth a try and better than the other junk down the street.

So glad to finally try this place! I will definitely be returning to try their other menu options! I ordered the 4 taco meal and got a different filling for each one. My Favorites best to least favored (there were no bad options in my opinion): spicy pork, spicy chicken, fish, bulgogi.

Love this place! Two of my favorite food combination, Korean and Mexican. Everytime I go the staff is very friendly. Higly recommend "Kimchichanga" and the "KBBQ California Burrito" The vibe has been excellent and the food is really really good. There is a Stamp card available, every $10 you spend (before taxesyou get a stamp after 9 stamps you get a free meal! Taco Tuesday and Thursday $1.19! Its extra for the Bulgogi (Marinated Beefand Kalbi (Marinated Short Ribsbut its definitely worth it! I am trying to try EVERYTHING on the Menu!

But those tacos thouu, for 99 cents, DAM!!! its all a good deal!Offer some potato tacos or dish? Put in an arcade game or pinball machine... fix the booths... Youll definitely get 5 🌟s from everyone! Ive been here once before and enjoyed their Mexican pizza. This time I got their Bulgogi Philly sandwich, it was tasty. My husband got the kimchichanga and I loved it. The also have good nachos and their mushroom appetizer is also good as well.

Food was ok. Tacos were good. They do have a taco tuesday want to go for that. The philly cheese steak was yummy. 3 stars because i felt like quality of food was good but theres room for some more fusion items and it was hot in there. They do have high chairs for kids and good non alcoholic drink options unsure if they have alcohol. If im in the area I would go back.

This place is like a hidden gem in the Inland Empire. Its not particularly well know and is a bit far for most UC Riverside students to visit. They have discounts on tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The price depends on the meat. I know that chicken and tofu are $1.19 each and beef is 25 cents more while short rib is 50 cent store at the time of this post. If you dont ask, they wont grill the tortilla for the taco, which made it a bit difficult to swallow. Their kimchichanga is a classic and is always delicious.

Stopped here for an Uber Eats or last year, finally had a chance to come back. Glad I did. I only tried the signature kimchichanga, but will definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu.

I really loved the flavors of the kimchi fried rice. I was never much of a fan of over easy eggs but my other favorite spot won me over with that lol. Anyways the egg was a good fit over the rice surprisingly. My sister ordered the California burrito nice size also good flavors, loved the soft taste of the beef.We would both definitely return to try out the rest of this menu, staff was very friendly and helpful.

The service is outstanding and the food preparation is exceptional. I recommend The Korean taco ssam for those Keto dieters.

I go crazy for the oriental chicken salad here. So good!The bulgogi is also really nice. I only recommend that if youre not used to kimchi, you might need to order "easy" on your item.

Saw this place on Yelp and it has some really good reviews. My boyfriend and I got there loaded fries and chichanga it was really good but you feel heavy after. I recommend taking a few people to help you out. I gave this place 3 stars because the air quality was horrible-no ventilation. They could use some fans and a vent to air out the place as they cook. However the food itself was such a tasty experience 😋😀😁

I ordered the mini taco combo it came with 4 mini tacos and a drink for under $9.00 my meat choices were bulgogi (beef), short rib, spicy pork and spicy chicken. I would definitely recommend trying the short rib and spicy pork 👌. On my next visit I plan on getting the Mexican pizza 🍕 🍕 🍕

A great innovative fusion restaurant with some incredible combinations. Korean BBQ California burritos, kimchi nachos. The Korean tacos are incredible and only $1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. One of the best spots in Riverside!

The Bulgogi Philly Cheesesteak was amazing! I was kind of sad when it was finished, and I gave serious thought to ordering another one, not to go, but to eat right then and there! The stuffed mushrooms were awesome as well!
