Kikka Boulevard in Noorder-Paarl

This place will never see me again. Went there for the first time 13 August 2022 and ordered a Taco Foldie and received an flat brown toasted wrap over the food. Definitely not what the menu says. This place will never see me again or any of my friends.

Great place!Newly renovated old prison into restaurant. Great to see some of the old prison doors and gates featured. The food was very good.

We highly recommend this spot. Excellent service! Their Barista, Justin, makes the best Chai Latte ever. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Staffs passion for this business can clearly be seen.

I ordered a bunch of flowers to be delivered last week. I was quite surprised at being quoted R170 for the delivery despite living less than 10km away.I was quoted a further R 600-R 1000 for a loose bunch of flowers and opted to proceed for a bunch that would cost R 600. Theflowers were delivered promptly, I couldnt fault the size of the bunch, but I certainly could criticise the quality and the selection thereof, in-fact the flowers started dying the next day.I reached out to the contact at Kikka the following day via whatsapp, as this was the method of communication I was instructed to use when placing the order. I sent an image of what was delivered and communicated my disappointment thereof.I was not expecting a response immediately as I sent the message over the weekend. It has now been 3 days since I sent the message and it remains read but unanswered. Clearly they disagree with my opinion or just choose not to respond as business must be thriving.I am certainly not expecting a refund or another bunch of flowers, in fact the message I sent started by, "just some constructive feedback" . However to not be heard or acknowledged I feel is poor , despite what business you are in or how it is performing......

Very friendly and great service. The lady at the flowers still remember my name after a couple of months. I was verry impressed. 💞

Little gem hidden away from plain sight. According to locals, if you dont live in the area you wont know about this place.The batista is the only one in a long while that knows how to make my favourite drink and who also understands the origins of the coffee he makes!Dont think for one ment you will be disappointed, your wildest imagination will come alive with all the aromas and tastes. One of my top 10 🔝

Excellent restaurant with a good menu and reasonable prices. Staff are always very friendly and eager to assist.Sit down to enjoy a meal in a nice setting that used to be a jail but now fashionably refurbished.I really recommend them.

We arrived a few hours before closing for Christmas, but the staff was still curtious and very willing to accommodate us. We sat upstairs, a space not utilized much currently, but obviously used for bigger groups and functions and has a huge amount of potential. Theres a small patio area looking out over the converted prison. The menu is well balanced. It was the best version of authentic nachos we have had in South africa, (live in central america). I had higher expectations of the scones, but I have to make clear that the kitchen was closing over the next 2 day period, and freshness of products could have been compromised due to extending their shelf life, and getting rid of what was in stock in stead of freshly baked...The concept of using the elements of the old converted prison in the business park lay out and the decor of the restaurant is absolutely great, making it completely unique.

Still good but no visible middle management in site steering the business. Needs more attention from owner to improve prompt welcome to clients and service checks.

We ended up here by Accident and what a lovely place! Kikka restaurant is located in an old jail, which is also a type of Museum. You can sit inside or outside. You can even have a small function at the second floor. The breakfast was so good, and the coffee as well. Friendly and quick service. We were 5 and the table was big enough for us. This is also a bakery and Florist. You can buy gifts. Will for sure be back

What an awesome find! I googled about 10 places in Paarl as we were meeting friends for brunch, and settled on Kikka at The Precinct. Housed in the former jail, it had an outside courtyard and was interesting with an in-house florist. The breakfast i had was the No Carb Star and was sublime! Coffee was good and everyones breakfast was divine. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Go pay a visit....you wont be sorry!

Well I decided to have my hair cut at the mens barbershop. Darling wife went to kika for a coffee. I finished with my haircut and joined my wife for a coffee. We decided to try their breakfast. Well I am a bacon egg and pork sausage with a hashbrown type of man, a good old English breakfast. Well we order, portions were generous, quality was fantastic. I had beef sausage, but man was it juicy, freshly cooked and dried out like 90% of the other restaurants. They even had hot water bottles for the ladies, with a knee blackest. Lovely touch. Only complaint no English mustard. If you looking for a busy, cozy little setting, this is the place. Well done nice breakfast. Ps how about a English breakfast with pork sausages. 👍😁

Such a hidden gem. Situated inside a courtyard is this nice coffee shop. Perfect for someone wishing to do a litrle bit of work remotely while enjoying a delicious cappucino. Most tables have a plugpoint even the ones in the middle. Upstairs is a meeting/conference room away from the busy general area. Enjoyed coming here whilst my mom visited my stepdad in Mediclinic

Although the food was amazing the service were slow. Stunning decorations and some original structures from the old prison is beautiful.

Carrot cake is the ultimate..and you can place an order for different size cakes to take home freshly made..try the carrot cake!

Good variety of everyday dishes including breakfast all day which I like. The food and the service are goog although, on this occasion, we had a rather long wait for our food.

Allthough the quisine at Kikka Boulevard never dissapoints, they have once again exceeded any and all expectations I could possibly have. I thought I would shake it up a bit and tried the pulled pork burger today. I was in heaven! By far the tastiest burger I have had since locating to the Western Cape 6 years ago.Whatever your tastebuds crave, you will leave satisfied. On top of the pleasant atmosphere, they are reasonably priced as well.5 out of 5!

Friendly staff.. I specifically looked online beforehand as I specifically wanted a Smoothie. For the second time - the Juicer was broken. The same scenario before lockdown. Broken Juicer. My friend, whom I met said they had the same experience at her last visit - broken Juicer. If u are wanting a Smoothie.. That is *not* where u want to go. Kikka should inform patrons & remove it from the Menu. Or buy a good quality industrial machine for that purpose.

Clever use of an old, disused place, super friendly owner and courteous and efficient staff. Almond milk no longer an oddity, but now pretty standard. Flowers unusual and exotic and FRESH!! To be recommended.

Excellent quality of foods in both normal menu or special functions. Have a nice area for small to medium function events and since located in a conveniently area in the town is a good option for that types of events.Staff are always friendly regardless of the time and I find them helpful even in the busy time a crowded event.I also liked how you can find something exciting to buy there even while visiting for a quick coffee.

Went for breakfast this past Friday and was really very disappointed. The bacon was burnt to a crisp as well as thetomatoes .. Requested eggs to be sunny side up but ended up getting solid hard fried eggs..It seemed as though the food was just slapped onto the plate and was really not very presentable at all. I will definately not be going back.. Thank you.

Outstanding food ! All breakfasts can be made LowCarb at a small extra charge.I had smoked brisket with scrambled eggs (nice creamy and still wet, as I requestedand divine creamed spinach on LC bread. Yummy !!

Nice variety on menu from Pork Belly Cigars to Fire Cage Stew. We had Salmon Omelettes for lunch. Good service, upon sitting down at your table, the waiters bring you a nice glass of filtered water with lemon.

Stopped over for breakfast on our way out of Paarl. Magnificent coffee!! Thoroughly enjoyed our brisket and pulled pork breakfast dishes. Faibian was a tentative waiter and gave us good service. Staff were very helpful getting us the perfect spot outside under the umbrellas in the Paarl heat. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff. Good food. Bit pricy but in today s economical situation it is understandable. I do treat myself when I go there. Good ambiance and a must to go when you want to have coffee with a friend/friends. Their cake is amazing...need to go soon
