Kierans Restaurant in Muineachan

Kierans restaurant was A1 for us.5 Adults & 7 children.We were seated in a very good area that allowed the children to move around without causing any inconvenience to others.They were also given colouring paper & pencils.Food choice & presentation was excellent.

Never ate in BallyBay before and this is a jem of a place. It was a quiet night there and I was a little apprehensive but they were put to rest with the very friendly staff and wonderful food. Well be back!

Lovely food, nice friendly staff

We found this lovely place by chance after searching on google maps. My partner telephoned and spoke to a lovely lady who was really pleasant and helpful and we were lucky to get a reservation. On arrival the place was spotless and operated to covid quidelines( hand sanitizer, safety advice posters, tables positioned following covid social distancing rules, waitresses wearing safety shields and masks).We were greeted by a lovely waitress who showed us to our table.We ordered the platter for 2 which consists of 3 starter dishes you choose from a wide selection of starters. We choose ,brie, garlic mushrooms and the duck spring rolls, the presentation was lovely and the taste was delicious, the brie and the light breadcrumbs melted in my mouth.My partners main meal was the surf and turf, I choose the battered cod. Both meals were really amazing and everything cooked to perfection. Both waitresses we seen that night were extremely busy but took time to check that our dining experience with Kieran s restaurant was the best it could be.Definitely highly recommend.

Omg this place is class it was so relaxing gread food and drink and above all the staff are excellent really friendly and it is so unique

Great food, plenty of it, service was absolutely great, and cost was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food provided. Highly recommend this place if ever in this area of Ireland.

Food was out of this world nice staff good atmosphere well worth a visit.

Just moved to Ballybay and decided to try this restaurant, honestly the food, service and surroundings are first class.We tried 4 meals and everyone said the same thing, brilliant !!!!5 stars doesnt do it justice.Well done to the chef and everyone involved.

We ate here when our B&B hostess recommended it. Excellent service and food! The atmosphere was relaxing and authentic. I ate the herb crusted salmon which was delicious! Definitely stop for a bite if youre in the area!

Really good food and service with a smile. The coffee Id great here but a bit noisy when they make them as the grind the beans fresh. Good atmosphere with low level background music.
