This national park has many safari companies & lodges giving the opportunity to see big game.
Great views, so many sightings
Kidepo valley national park is located in the far North-Eastern Uganda, bordering Uganda and Kenya in the East and Uganda and South Sudan in the North. The park offers an authentic experience Wilderness as you drive from the gate to the heart of the Park, Apoka area. Its the only park in Uganda where you can see the ostriches and cheetahs. Other large wildlife species found in the park include different antelope species, Lions, Elephants, giraffes, cape buffaloes, Leopards to mention a few. Come Lets Travel!!
Its the true African wilderness park
Good scenery with tall grass and scattered tress.
Kidepo valley was cool though lions scare me.
Warm cool semi desert area , with a variety of wild animals, different kinds of birds home ostrich and Nice place for hangout...
Best game park..
Would recommend a visit. Kidepo is the least visited NP in Uganda because of its location but definitely the prettiest by its views. In addition, theres few tourists compared to Murchison or the other NPs.
A great park to see a lions, elephants and zebras
If you love the environment that is still undisturbed by human activities, its the place to me. Very peaceful and beautiful.
Kidepo borders Kenya and Sudan and has perhaps the largest buffalo population.Additionally the only place you will find the cheetah, the ostrich and a few other endemic species
Everything in this park is to die for..Breathtaking scenery....So many wild animals...I saw more than 500 buffaloes in a single day...I got to see my favourite animals, the zebras so beautiful..The Amapwas rock has got the best views of the park..The rangers are so lovely and kind...The birds...The journey to the park, the people...The thrill that comes with the cars getting stuck en route, PS: make sure you avoid travelling during the rainy season if you dont have a four-wheel.I loved everything Karamoja region had to offer♥️
The only game park that defines a true African wilderness. Highly recommended to every traveller interested in wildlife. I enjoy Kidepo every time I visit it.
So, how popular is birdwatching? The short answer, birdwatching is incredibly popular! ... It has become one of the fast growing hobbies in North America, and in Canada more time is spent birdwatching than gardening! Birdwatching is now a multi-million dollar industry and one of the strongest magnetisms for ecotourism.
The place is amazing with all wildlife scattered in very beautiful scenery.
Its one of the best tourist Attraction in the north western part of uganda with different kinds of wild animals..The giraffe, elephant es ,and so many more other animals
i have been to this place several times and basically iam a safari guide, the park has so much to offer, the specular views, plenty of wild animals and the great Nalusi valley where most animals find homage
The most heavenly landscape Ive set my eyes on.Beautiful weather, birth sunny and really cold in the night. No insect bites, affordable accommodation, nice staff, very very beautiful animals and perfect for guides
The park is phenomenal. It looks like something out of a Disney movie. It is a surreal verdant park teeming with plenty of animals for you to marvel at as you bask in the glorious feeling of being in the Pearl of Africa.
At times its too cold and then too hot.
Oh so nice these guys really. Well we visited the park and you just saw everything from little mammals to big lions or elephants you really see everything and the people are very friendly! The thing is there are only about 10 people visiting per month so you are practically alone in the park and it is so nice there!
To have the best of real nature, it’s the place to be coz of its remoteness. Tourism in this place is still virgin at one of the best national parks in Uganda. A park surrounded by mountains and located in the valley gives you a chance to see a number of mammals like lions, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, kobs, baboons, giraffes, etc.
Just magnificent, we camped!! And we went with around Africa tours, ask for Daniel he is legend. I: @jackypalazzo
First of all, the people are really friendly! You can get to camp in the wild and see animals all around you especially warthogs, buffaloes and jackals which is very exciting. However brace yourself, Kidepo is very very very far and remote too and if youre lucky you just might get to see the king of the jungle in a game drive.
Wonderful park to visit
My best and favourite national park in Africa such a great place to see the African savanah and its wildlife
Amazing scinery, a huge variaty of animals
Wonderful views, many wild animals, educative guides
To much sun shine
It was amazing, everything from animals we were able to see to the vegetation with our Guide Denis ! We stayed at #savannahlodge!
Its really nice place to visit
kidepo is a very nice hidden tresure that u have to move very many killometres and hours to discovery the beauty and nature in the karamoja region. The roads r nice, n pple are friendly. u must visit kidepo n park
Its fun n exciting, the buffaloes and elephants are friendly. Its a unique savannah experience
Kidepo Valley National Park is perhaps the last true scenic Wilderness.Dont listen to the travel "guidance", go during the wet season to experience true Africa. The right well raised full time four wheel drive to allow you drive through flash floods and seasonal rivers.Plan a 5 day trip to allow you track all of Africas big five
Great wildlife. Amazing scenery. Comfortabele and affordable accomodation
Nice place, a lot of animals, and there arent so many tourists
Beautiful nature in its rawness!! One of the best places to do Safari and the scenery is just the best!
Kidepo Valley National Park Uganda "True African Wilderness "
Great park... Though Pretty far because of accessibility.
Its has beautiful flora and fauna with a nice scenery and great landscape. The community nearby is friendly and welcoming. The game park is less congested and you get to view most of the animals in the park during a guided tour. Its a nice place for honeymoon and holiday getaways with friends and family. I also recommend it for those that love camping.
I love the landscape so beautiful I love it so much.
The animals too many, the peaceful nature of the place, hospitality of the people,
Good place for relaxing
This park is a kind of a challenge to get to but definitely well worth it. Because it takes so much time and effort you are rewarded by basically having the park to yourself. Unlike Murchison Falls, which is very commercial and can be crowded, Kidepo is very serene and relaxing. The scenery and animals are incredible but what I enjoyed most is just relaxing out in nature, be it watching the sunset or around the fire.
Its a savanna like no other. So much endowed. The rains water it at different intervals in different access points. If its rain g here, its dry there. Its a park with a very bright future for the wild. In fact its numbers are increasing. Its thriving. You hardly go 100meter without finding a tree 🎄 or a thicket. Many young trees are coming up, & you can evidently see there several over grown trees keeping the park. Massive numbers of buffalos, huge Elephants & lions, to mention but a few. You can tell that the animals are well protected. I didnt see that in the Masai Mara.
Great African wilderness... cant get enough of this place...
We felt alone in the Wild. Just an handful of people in the whole park. Wont stay this way for long.
The most amazing Savannah landscapes I have ever seen, not forgetting the wildlife!
The best wild park in the whole world
See all the big 5 including cheaters, ostriches and the ik people, Kidepo is indeed the number 1 travel destination for wildlife and cultural lovers.
