Kick-Off Sports Bar in Kitchener

This is a small place with a casual friendly atmosphere. Always a sport on the TV and you can play foosball for 50cents. the beers on tap are always changing and Im told its a great selection but I cant drink beer, luckily theres always a cider on tap too so dont feel like you cant come here if you dont drink beer. Friendly guy who works there too who gets to know more frequent customers.

This is a great place, with great atmosphere. We love to go to Kickoffs both Troy and Bill are great to talk to. This is also the best place in the tri-city area to try out a new scotch...too bad there are no more red cards on the wall...

Best beer bar in town: no attitude, no posing...just knowledgeable servers who will tell you what a given beer on the list is, and what it tastes like, plus theyll give tastings so you dont choose wrong. Dont go to the Bent Elbow...go to Kick-Off.

Rotating craft beer taps! One of the only places in KW to do so. Great place to have a beer near the University.

Bill has one of the best selections of craft beers on tap in the city. Rivaled only by Arabella and Bent Elbow but knocks off the pretentiousness that comes with those places.

Bill is the best bartender ever! I went here every week for almost my entire undergrad, and I would go back to Waterloo just to visit KO and Bill. The beer selection is unparalleled, with rotating taps, and a fridge selection that puts the LCBO to shame. The atmosphere is great, with that hole in the wall, everyone knows each other, Cheers sort of feeling. Just be prepared that Bill may spontaneously start yelling at people, its just his thing.

Great beer selection that you would not get unless you go to Beertown, but then youre paying much more. Small and cozy bar, run by the owner. Usually full.

Wonderfully out of the way, a great place to hang out. Bill, the bartender, is great, incredibly knowledgeable and an awesome conversationalist (once you warm up to him). He also offers really awesome scotch appreciation classes!

Ive been a near weekly regular for years.This is the most unpretentious atmosphere to savour excellent draft beer - both craft brews and bigger names from around the world. The place pretends to be a sports bar with a big ol soccer ball on the door; when there are big games on you can watch them - but its really a peaceful scotch and beer bar tucked away between a couple of university campuses. If you want to try a scotch or beer variety you have never heard of before you will be able to do that here.

Kind of a rite of passage for Waterloo students. Its simple and doesnt pretend to be anything else than a simple sports bar. Probably why its popular.

Without doubt one of the best bars in Waterloo. The atmosphere is simple, straightforward, and not corporate. The selection of craft brews on tap is top-notch.

My 30-year old roommate went to there and was asked for his ID. Hes like look at my face. Hes not Canadian and showed his own countrys ID with birth date also his watcard but the bartender only wanted a Canadian ID. I thought we were at Kickoff but apparently its kick-out.
