Khaosan World Tennōji Hostel in Osaka

The hostel is only a few minutes away from Tennoji Station which makes it very convinient to get around. The breakfast was good and at the reception there are also some free amenities if you need them. The staff was also very nice and helpful for inquiries.

Friendly helpful staff. Great break fast, clean rooms, hot foot spa and close to tennis station. Not as busy and crowded full of beds like other dorms. Nice luggage storage and really homely. I been here 5 times and will keep coming bAck.

Very cute and affordable hostel in a quiet part of Osaka, about 15 minutes by train from the city center. The staff was very kind and spoke great English, and there were lots of amenities included with the room. Please try the footbath outside! Be aware that the included breakfast is mostly just toast and jam, so maybe make plans to visit the Dennys across the street for breakfast.

Its been an amazing stay with Khaosan world tennoji. Located at the heart of tennoji world, its just a few minutes walk from the Shitennoji Temple and Tennoji Park, closer to the Tennoji Station which passed by the JR Haruka Train from Kansai Airport and also some subway lines. Enjoy the spacious common room and just drop your baggage if you come earlier, they will keep it up for you.. or you want to have a foot bath available till late night. Complete amenities, well-spoken staffs, and a free-flow Beverages are the awesome things here. Love to re-heat your food or even want to cook something? Then go straight to the kitchen. Did I forgot to tell you the breakfast? Go and grab slices of bread with tuna mayonnaise and other jam until 11 am. Wi-Fi and computer are available The room? It was a nice dorm with inner bathroom but I guess I need a curtain which can cover my capsule entirely as the light from the bulb can pass through the short curtain. Well I didnt do the laundry but they provide that if you have to.. next to the kitchen. I guess they have a special activity as I saw lots of calligraphy.. overall.. I will definitely stay here again.

The employees are very kind and helpful, their facilities are good, foot bath, kitchen, breakfast, japan caligraphy, free drink, vending machine

Staff smiled and made a difference adding value reminding me of extras like the foot bath and how I could get entry late.Spacious , clean and homely so easy to relax and easy to reach train transport and find coming off a long flight. Stayed five times in two weeks.This site is not easy to use note.et ent

Good property and location. Very clean, free flow coffee and tea. I stayed in room with private bathroom. Comfort futton, everything worked well.

I loved this place! Clean and spacious rooms, decent privacy, clean bathrooms. Its in a great location, really close to Tennoji train station. Free breakfast (toastand hot drinks are cool little extras that really make the difference. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Very pleasant facilities. The lounge area and breakfast area was nice, the rooms had a good amount of privacy with the curtains, and there was a shower and bathrooms within the rooms.

We got the quadruple room and it was huge ! With 2 toilets, 2 sinks and mirrors and a separate shower and sink, and an area with table and chairs. Fantastic.The lobby area is a good place to chill.Foot bath is also great.Free tea/coffee and laptops in the lobby.Will come again.

We had a room for five people. It was very big. Beds are very comfy. The lounge is nice. The staff is very cool. And this place is not expansive at all. Next to the station.

Variety of facilities but they are not well kept in cleanliness, especially kitchen cookware and cutleries. In-room luggage security is lacking as there is no way to lock or hook on a designated spot, only leaving things around in a shared room.As a female, would be a nice gesture to see if the reception put solo or 2 travellers in a female dominant room but I understand that the hostel did mention it is a mix.Again, cleanliness overall is below average therefore the stay was not very pleasant.

Ive stayed at other Khaosan hostels before and similar to those experiences, this location has excellent and helpful staff, clean facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere. I stayed in a shared room so sometimes people may be noisy moving things around or turning on their personal lights at night, but its bearable. They provide free breakfast and free tea, coffee, and water.

Friendly staff and clean/well designed rooms. Free complimentary drinks in the lobby such as coffee, tea and water were a nice touch! Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, spacious and chill. Breakfast provided til 11am and free drinks 24/7, selection of hot and cold water/coffee/ green & red tea. Creamer and sugar are also provided along side sturdy disposable cups and spoons

Best deal for travelers on a budget!!!The staff are very nice and can speak english.They offer free breakfast which includes bread, 4 types spread, soup, coffee and tea.You can change towels daily and gives free toiletrieds.The place is clean and neat.

Over the years visiting Japan, I have only seen Khaosan hostels improve, this is no exception, great service, excellent location.

The room is excellent, very comfortable. The breakfast is very basic.

The family room we had was very clean and tidy, with a great view of the streets below. Our only complaint was the noise from the plumbing next door or the lower floor.

Excellent Rooms, wonderful and cool looking grouproom. Good place to stay. And breakfast for 300 Yen is super cheap.

Staffs are really accomodating plus there is free breakfast. It also has a free foot bath for all guests.

Tidy, comfortable and affordable. Well located close to Tennoji station. Lobby comes with a beautiful tatami room.

Big authentic room with futon.Good price but a bit far from Osaka Center downtown.

Its a very clean and well kept hostel. The rooms are big and Japanese style. We stayed in a private room with bathroom. If we are back in Osaka, we will be back here.

3 guys went there but got assigned to a 5 guys room... Was big for 3 guys but I guess will be too small for 5. The toilet was nice and clean too. Not shared with others kind. Overall was good

Its a wonderful experience staying in. Environment was very clean and well equipped with all the necessities. Definitely recommend people to choose this!

I stay at this place for 1 night, with the price, you get a free drink, a good open place. And a very comfortable private room. And many more things that I can’t enjoy, like foot bath. Definitely a great place to stay in Osaka for more than 1 day.

One of my favourite hostels. Staff are friendly and helpful, plenty of space to eat and relax on japanese style futons and tables, free water, coffee, apple juice and tea from a machine, an outdoor hot footbath which was a great way to warm up and relax in the evening. Plenty of kettles. Hostel clean with lots of toilets and showers, beds comfortable with good privacy, plugs and a light. Ooh and a towel, Toothbrush, razor, moisturiser, ear plugs etc are available for free as well as a japanese robe for hire.

I love the ambiance of Japanese Traditional culture in this hotel! Using futon, footbath, and the self-service system makes us feel like our own home

From the beginning, the check in service was smooth with a few signatures and a review of policies. After going to my dorm bed, I was settled with my bags and a toiletries bag provided by the hostel. There is a foot bath i used that was 7/10 because it could be hotter. One complain that I had was the lack of privacy with the blinds as other hostels have a bit more privacy in the bed blinds. Air condition rooms, lots of free maps/coupons, laundry, a kitchen, and free water, coffee, and tea was all a plus.

Bunk beds with privacy curtain and nice individual lights and electric outlets. Hot footbath available, wifi, kitchen, coin laundry and common area on ground floor.

VERY cheap and yet clean and comfortable. The staff can speak English. Good enough for an economical trip exploring Osaka.

Near to the city center. Facilities are nice and new. Staffs are well trained.
