Amazing gold Buddha on the mountain, spectacular huge work of art.Outside you can find lots of food restaurants, souvenirs, you can chill out with a drink, and go visit the lake not far from there.The place is huge, visitors from lots of Asian countries were here while we visited the place, most of them buddha believers

Spend few minutes here only to take picture with the Laser Buddha and you can pray in this place, nice view though

Nice place to relax and enjoy ice cream and small shops. No idea what main attraction is; just Buddha figure youre n rock and various eating places.

Kinda busy with tourists, but thats what its there for, right? Impressive overall. Make sure to stop by the bus in the beginning of the parking lot and get a drink.

The Buddha Mountain or Khao Chi Chan is a limestone hill in Na Chom Thian that has become a Pattaya landmark due to its large 109 m (358 ftby 70 m (230 ftgolden Buddha laser engraving, made from gold - 999kg!The Khao Chi Chan Buddha image is the largest carved Buddha image in the world.It was created in 1996 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the coronation of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and for Thai people and Buddhists for spiritual practice.The area surrounding the mountain is full of heavy clusters of grasses, shrubs, and trees including teak, acacia, Siamese rosewood, black rosewood, and various fruit trees such as Indian gooseberry, black plum, and ramontchi.The Buddha Mountain is a popular place for leisure activities, mediation, celebrations, and dance performancesWe visited here during our recent trip to Pattaya, Thailand. Beautiful place to visit. I was surprised that I was no charged. No many places in Thailand are free so take advantage of this place.

Cool place to spend a couple of hours.

This solemn place is underrated by lacking of explanation, challenge & proper narration. Currently, not much time needed to spend. Just look around & take photo. Pay homage to Buddha images. Very quiet & humid. Personally, I may not recommend to spend lots of time at that place

Due to covid,50% of the touristic spots are empty.The old crowd in the Thai markets and public parka are no more exists... Many of them stopped business.You can see many empty stores and empty area everywhereFeels so bad.This is one of the tourist area affected by covid19.

Very clean and well kept garden. Impressive carvings. Drop by if its along the way. Youll spend about 15 minutes here for phototaking. Dont forget to visit the local temple about 2km from this mountain.

A lot of heat from the sun even at 17:00. Not much besides the mountain.

This was a good place for the traveller. Fantastic landscape. Showing Thailand in the way of religion and faith. If you would like to go there please think about the weather and temperature especially its in the sunny day.

Relaxing, peaceful place. You can pretty much see everything in a few minutes though. Not a lot going on but if youre on the road, its worth stopping off for a look and a picture.

One also of the newest place to visit in Pattaya is the Laser Buddha. Quite long drive from Bangkok City approxmately 2.5hrs via Van. You can visit the place in about 30 mins since the only attraction there is just the lader crafted buddha. The souvenir items there as well is fixed, no bargain compared to Bangkok, CR is 10 Bhatt but the good thing.. water is just 10Bhatt compared to Noong Nooch at 20Bhatt...

Just spend around 15 mins to take the picture, put the coin and pray (I don’t know the story of thatand then finish. go on your trip to other many places in Pattaya.

This magnificent golden image if the sacred Buddha embedded into n the mountain radiates to every person visiting the place. It is an amazing work of art and you cant help but think of how they have been able to scrape the side of the mountain and laid the image. The place is one of the tourist bucket list must haves. It nice to be back here in the future.

this place is very beautiful, to enter this location is free of charge, its location is close to SilverLake Vineyard and nongnoch park,dont forget to stop by here to take pictures and relax. this place was built to commemorate King Rama IXs 66th birthday (CMIIW)

Entrance is FREE. Parking is free. Not far from Pattaya. Nothing special, looks better in pics, but it is quiet and there are and trees leave nice shadows where to rest enjoying the views. Garden are well-manteined. Not worthy to take taxi to visit it but I would recommend if you have time and your own bike.

This was amazing to see. What an inspirational idea for the use of a disused quarry. It was definitely worth a visit, there was traditional Thai music, plus a temple.

the right place for a vacation and to take pictures. it is in the highlands of Pattaya so there is a beautiful view. there is also a place to sell souvenirs. the air here is also cool ... this is a place that you must visit while in Pattaya.. 👍👍👍

Very beautiful place, at around 50 minutes from Pattaya, a must if you go to Pattaya. The image of Buddha laser drawing on the mountain. There a garden nearby and as always in Thailand, good food and drinks available

The Buddhist Mountain is very large and beautiful. There has been a long time for the obligatory place and you should come, if wanting a photo should come in the morning and afternoon.

Not overly old, nevertheless a different kind of place to visit.Best in the morning when the temperature is cooler and the crowds are at a minimum.A few parking places are availabl, with the usual assortment of eateries opposite the site.A good place to bring a camera and catch that spectacular image.

Truely exceeding my expectations about artistic display of talent. Seeing up close with the golden Buddha image carve in the mountain is such a marvel. A sacred and a must see landmark in Pattaya Thailand.

What a beautiful and spiritual place. It felt so peaceful and at ease just being here. Its crazy imagining 999kg of gold were used in the making of this beautiful historic piece. Please be respectful toward the location and attraction here. I will definitely visit next time.

I liked it. Very impressive. We came Saturday and it was jammed pack with tourists. Came back Monday and parked right in the front. Very impressive carving of Buddha in the mountain. Its not for everyone but if your in Pattaya take the time to see it.
