Khandani Rajdhani - Indian restaurant in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Khandani Rajdhani in Sharjah
Description
Privilege
Had a great time. Was looking for an authentic thali place and this definitely fits the bill. Good variety of dishes (lots of desserts tooand reasonable price. They gave a complimentary thali for my son which was a very nice gesture. I dont have a before picture but I am attaching an "after" picture which doesnt require any explanation :)
MoreExcellent vegetarian food. Equally great service. For vegetarian food lovers this is a must visit restaurant, especially those who prefer Rajasthani cuisine.
MoreWe went on a Sunday and the place was like a fish market. They were trying to accommodate as many people as possible and yet we were all paying customers. We were told to rush through our meal and clear the table for other customers. We were actually rushed through our meal and the table cleared whilst we were still in the midst of ordering more desserts, etc. A real embarrassing situation as we had guests whom we were trying to impress. An experience best forgotten. Much prefer the service and food at Maharaj Bhog where you are really treated like a Maharaja.
MoreI visited this place with my office colleagues for lunch. Its a lovely place if you wanna have unlimited veg food. But you need to have a good appetite.Food is really good and tasty. Everything served is hot !! And the staff is friendly and very accommodating. We visited on Wednesday and luckily for womens on that day Thali is charged at AED 35/- so its a steel deal.Go ahead and visit m sure you wont be disappointed.
MoreLove the food!Their thaali was really good! Usually I’m not very satisfied with thaali because the curries are almost identical. Here there was varieties! And I loved it.Also, I felt here it’s cheaper than usual thaali places.
MoreGreat place for unlimited Thaalis. 30 AED on Tuesday evenings - which is absolutely worth it. Cant miss their Meethi Daal and Daal Bati. Other notable alternatives are: Maharaja Bhog (if youd like to enjoy extras such as Pani Puri)
MoreFood 🍱 is good and service also very nice.. still need improvement { serving of finger bowl 🥣 🍚 the bhaji need to improve test }
MoreWell this is an awesome place to indulge in an Indian gujrati thali. Wonderful food, served with ever smiling staff. Not to miss, each staff is trained to go an extra mile to ensure that your experience is outstanding. Being a very old customer I highly recommend this place as it never disappoints.
MoreAn amazing experience. Massive selection for your thaali . Best vegetarian Indian restaurant in Dubai. A must do.
MoreWe went to eat thali and we were exceptionally cheerful. The things are numerous and all super delicious. My family doesnt like vegan nourishment but they adored it too. They serve you hot puri and roti. daal bhaat with hot ghee pour on it, 3 sorts of double, sabzi.a sweet dish like shrikhand, halwa, Jalebi with Rabdi, etc. Moreover, plain rice and vegetable khichdi were amazing with hot ghee on them. The thali taken a toll is aed 50 and boundless serving. The staff is exceptionally accommodating and they serve you with parts of love. All crown safeguards are taken care of. I want to visit again. I must say a great veggie lover alternative in Dubai where youll be able to have a verity of dishes, ought to work more on benefit because it was moderate maybe since of end of the week crowd The thing which I by and by didnt like is washroom they must have a partitioned entrance of women and men.
MoreExcellent food as always. More than enough varieties and selection of menu was awesome. Fully enjoyed. God bless
MoreI must say a good vegetarian option in Dubai where you can have a verity of dishes, need to work more on service as it was slow may be because of weekend crowdThe think which I personally didnot like is washroom they must have a separate entrance of ladies and men
MoreThe restaurant serves authentic Rajasthani Gujarati pure veg thali. There is nothing negative to mention about this place, The thali is amazing the staff is considerate about the allergies and customized few things, good service and tasty food. We visited during the Aamras festival and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are looking for a variety of dishes and flavors in one plate you must definitely try this thali. And good part about it is it’s unlimited.
MoreVery nice Rajasthani thali with variety of dishes like dal bati churma, 3 different sweets, roti puri puran-poli nariyal poli, papad , chat, pickle, kadhi, varieties of dal, chutney, rice and khichdi in unlimited quantity. They served generously, the service was great. The quality of food is nice and definitely worth the price. Because it was mango season they also served aamras in sweet.
MoreThe food and the people are just wonderful ..they wont allow you to rest, keep 9n pouring food on to your plate..Only drawback is Parking..
MoreGood veg mega thali. This is a combination Rajastani and Gujurati food. The food is unlimited.Friendly staffs, they take effort in mentioning the dish name while serving. The cost is reasonable. 3 desserts served. They do have rice options like Pulav, Kichadi etc Decent spacing between tables.Rating:Ambience : 4Staffs : 4Food : 4Parking: RTA paid parkingWashroom : 3.5
MoreThis restaurant is located in the heart of karama amongst other restaurants. We tried there thali for the first time on someones birthday and it was decision we instantly regretted.Basic manners and etiquettes of welcoming guests were missing. The seats are shabby, very sad to say that we all felt the staff was working for the sake of it or everyone didnt have a good day on the particular date we went.Any which ways we called before going and we wanted to try a gujurati thali the person on the phone informed us that we would get gujurati thali but we found out after ordering that it was rajasthani, to our taste buds its spicy. So please inform your customers the right facts instead of decorating information. The food variety was very less compared to what he said on the phone and the thali size was small so one of our family members wanted to change just the thali plate to another fresh plate and the staff bluntly refused and said its policy, after requesting its just a utensil we are asking to change the manager said the same thing after numerous requests they changed i even offered to wash the plate for them if it was such a big deal. For each and everything we had to ask the staff minimum thrice no of times despite of the restaurant not being busy and it was a weekday.Rest assured we would not be going to this chain again. We even expressed this to the staff there that we have never had this kind of impolite behavior and they had literally zero thing to say not that we were expecting an apology.
MoreIt is always a delight to enjoy the thali at Rajdhani. The service as usual was good.I loved the taste of all veggies they prepare.Presentation of thali is nice.Ambience for thali is traditional while the poppy colours on the other half where other food is served is Instagram worthy. The only thing which can be improved was that Bhel was soggy and bread roll had filling of potatoes which was not good. All the sweets were amazing especially hot and freshly prepared jalebi and rabdi.Overall a good treat.
MoreExcellent value for money. Lots of Indian families enjoying this sit-buffet of deliciousness--my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Fabulous Indian vegetarian street food.
MoreThat was different experience for me as I never tried any thali before. Pure Indian taste was it.
MoreNice place to have vegetarian food.. They have thali with u limited food what you can eat from d available options...They do have discounts on days like Tuesdays...
MoreI visited Rajdhani last week. The food was tasty except that the kadi & papad were very spicy. I dont like that much spicy food. Otherwise rest all things were very nice. Food was hot & filling. Thank you. Will visit again.
MoreAn artwork of an Indian thali (plate), a fusion of Gujrati and Rajasthani cuisines, full of enchanting flavors. I had the chance to visit during pre-covid times along with a group of colleagues. The funny thing: one of the 20 something dishes was really spicy but it was hard to pinpoint which one...so Lassi came in handy to alleviate the burn. The staff was super nice. They brought repeating helpings of the main dishes to the table and almost insisted that one eats more. A true representation of traditional Indian hospitality. Check this place out if you are in or around Al Karama, Dubai. (I believe they only serve vegeterian food)

MoreOne is spoilt for choices when dining at Rajdhani. It is difficult to choose to indulge in a thali which consists of 25 items OR to savour their special street food.Well, I was lucky enough to devour in both especially during their Aamlicious season (meaning season for Mangoes).A sparkling empty thali is filled quite generously step by step and what unfolds is a sensory pleasure induced by food. They first serve with their varied types of chutneys and salads followed by their mouth watering starters. Then comes their special Daal bhaati churma topped with dollops of ghee. The food journey then continues with generous servings of their sabjis, different types of Dal, assorted types of breads such as puris, chapatis, Theplas, ghree roti, 2 options of rice ; moong dal khichdi and Steamed rice. Their Gujrati Dal was my favourite from the menu. It was not too sweet and the peanuts just added a more crunchy flavour to the dal. The food is accompanied with their special Lassi. While we were relishing the food, we were served with (everyones favouriteAamras which you can enjoy with Puri (a match made in heaven). Apart from that, we tried their Jalebi Rabdi and Anjeer halwa. Each and every dish was distinctive and indeed a perfect blend of sweet and spicy.Wait,, It is still not over😊 Remember I told you I got a chance to try even their street food ! So there you go; we tried their finger licking Pav bhaji fondue, Spicy Missal and Pizza dhokla. If ever you are missing Indian street food, you can come here to satiate your taste buds. Pizza Dhokla was indeed served creatively with Dhokla as the base topped with Pizza sauce and shredded cheese. Just loved this dish.So my friends; if you want to indulge in street food as well North Indian Thali, Rajdhani is a one Stop destination for you.BTW, the thali is priced at 40 AED+ Vat and its served at 30AED during #ramadan until 10th May 2021. Do visit Rajdhani and indulge in healthy home food.
MoreIf you are looking for variety of North Indian food , must try this restaurant. You can enjoy unlimited thali for Aed 40 .They serve a great variety of #rajasthani and #gujarati food . Each and every dish is too yumm . Being Rajasthani I just love their thali .We visited them few days back , I literally enjoyed food . During mango session who doesn’t love aamras and puri .Even we had dal batati , Rabri with malpua. Gosh it was damn delicious. Even other dishes were delicious too .I must say guys do visit them and enjoy unlimited thali .
MoreThis place Rajdhani Street, under the same roof as Khandhani Rajdhani, Zaabeel Street...offering amazing street food. The food presentation/Decor was unique and good. We had Vegetable- Tacos, Pav Bhaji, Lollipops, and Masala Thums Up (Taste the Thunder :-)). Place including washroom were super clean and neat. Excellent ambiance and friendly staff enhanced the overall experience. I like it.
MoreBelow is my previous review. Now this restaurant has not even 10% of its original menu.No words to describe our experience. Very much kids friendly. Every item has unique Chef’s touch. Absolutely delicious.
MoreThe interior and sitting arrangements is good, the food is good like always thats why I am giving two stars. But the service is very very poor, I visited today with family, we were the first and only customer in the restaurant, there were 4 service persons, but after every serving they all are going in corner facing the wall and talking with each other and two person were watching something on mobile phone, I had to wait for them to look at us to ask for something.I am from Mumbai, i am a big fan of Rajdhani, i know how they do the service there, the service person should always look at the customer if he needs something and not to chit chat, and who allows the service person to use mobile phone when customer is there.Very poor, i will not at all visit again neither will ask anyone to visitThank you for the wonderful service
MorePure indian veg thaliFresh foodGreat tasteValue for moneyYou will definitely love it if you like indian veg curries
MoreIt is a casual dining restaurant in Al Karama area. They have a mouth watering menu. I really enjoyed eating the Panner Butter Masala and their Paneer Dum Briyani. We also ordered a few drinks and each one of them was made with perfection !It was a wonderful time spend. I really enjoyed and recommend everyone else to visit this place once.

Everything was just on point. An outstanding experience. A perfect Vegetarian treat where you can get delicious streetfood at its best. Guys do try this place for street style quick bites like Chaat and pani puri for satisfying your tastebuds.Food Ordered 👇🏻Dahi Papdi Chaat. One of the finest chaat i ever had. What an amazing style of presentation truly impressed with the taste and the quantity. A scrumptious mouthwatering treat. Highly Recommended.Gol Gappay.I call them the round, small freshly made balls of happiness when dipped in spicy water with some tangy chutney it makes your life complete. Gol gappy is a not a snack it is a true pleasure of life . Too good.Pav Bhaji.Truely amazed how this place has given attention to every detail. I must say the creator is a true foodie who knows how to impress the other foodies . Small chunks of bread served with Mumbai Style pav bhaji. A small stove was placed under the dish to give you hot bite until the last chunk.Tawa Pulao.Spicy version of rice cooked with green peas served on a small cute little pot. As this dish was not that much appealing to my tastebuds due to its spice level but can be a source of pleasure to all pulao lovers.Drinks.Simply amazed to see the variety, variation, taste and presentation style of all drinks. Loved the shikanji served on a huge slim glass bottle topped with mints leaves. Jackfruit smoothie was something I never heard of but it was my friend all time favorite and taste was so delicious. They also have variety in golas ( Desi Ice pop tried the Kala Jamun Gala which was a treat too.Desserts.They have variety of desi desserts but simply in love with shahi tukra. What a taste simply fingerlicking. Small fried pieces of bread soaked in thick sweet saffron milk was a perfect treat to satisfy your sweettooth craving. A must try.Overall Experience.A vegetarian heaven from ambiance to food taste everything was so well balanced. The style of presentation and the funky Mumbai vibes with colorful seating gives you a perfect dining experience. The place is huge with one side designated only for Thalis and the colorful portion for the ala carte menu.Guys if your are craving for streetfood or some good vegetarian treat then this place should be on your list. Its worth the hype.....#vegetarianfood #dubaieats #dubaifoodies #dubaifoodbloggers #nomnom #eats #dubaifoodguide #karama #thali #dubaifoodblog
MoreThis in an indian restaurant in Karama area and very well known and has two sections, one for street food and one for main course. We had thali and in that they provide, dal bati, kadhi, chapati, kal pua, fruit cream, sprouts curry, alu palak, dal tadka, gujrati dal one paneer, chapati and puri, three types of chutney and dal pakoda and that was good. It was a grand thali. Rest you can see in pictures and hit like if you like the reviews.
MoreFirst of all.... ITS YUMMMMMM... evry bite was amazing.... Lots of food with lots of variety on plate.... Total I di taste... Aftr every 1 minute a person will come and ask.... Too good....... Must must must try.....
MoreDesi cuisine can not ever be compared to any other cuisine, in terms of taste, uniqueness or even presentation. Mastering the art of making authentic traditional dishes is not an easy job. However, Rajdhani Street makes it seem like a flawless job, with it making every meal with love and perfection. The taste is indescribable; you just feel like youve found your other home once you take a bite.A heavenly place to dine out at!
MoreNew menu launch . Black pav bhaji, jalebi chaat, khakra nachos, manchurian roll , kheema butter pav and pune sliders ,washed down with Jack fruit milk shake and topped with shahi tukda for dessert. Just yum.
MoreThalis are the best way to enjoy a huge variety of Indian meals at a takeaway price. Many places offer unlimited food at a fixed price. So what more could you possibly ask for?As last week i was on my Dubai Holidays with my family n was searching for indian food ,n i found this amazing Place. Rajdhani is a popular restaurant chain in India with 28 branches across India and one in Dubai. They serve vegetarian Rajasthani and Gujarati thali. They are now better known as the “Thali Place”.Rajdhani is Located in Al Karama, Rajdhani is popular for its special Thali with a variety of Rajasthani and Gujarati delicacies. This decent looking and comfortable dining place is apt for a comfort meal with family. This all vegetarian restaurant offers Thali which includes delicacies like Palak Patta Chaat, Masala Khichdi, Daal Baati Churma and several other items.Always buzzing with people, expect a vibrant, noisy atmosphere when you enter this place.Look out for their. The interiors are contemporary. We were warmly welcomed and seated. The thali plates and cups were already arranged on the table.Followed by Daal Baati Churma, Sambhariya aloo Baigan, Chole, Bharwan Drumsticks ,Paneer methi malai. Best assortment of Indian breads – Phulka, Bajri na Rotla and Puri.Three kinds of daals were served. Katchi Amti Dal, Amti Dal and Subz Kadhi. It was best with the Navrathna Pulao, Steam rice and Khichdi. In the sides were coriander chutney, bharela mirchi, mirchi thecha, diced onion and papad. For deserts there were three kinds of sweets, Pineapple Shira, Malai Sandwich and Kesar Jalebi. The thali is unlimited, tasting all the dishes itself is very filling. But, the samosa chaat was irresistible, we had a second helping.Tuesday thali at an unbelievable price of Dh 22. Dig into dal bati and churma to mouth-watering desserts at this tempting price.I would highly recommend this place for a fulfilling Indian Thali.
MoreNicely decorated but remains crowded because of the busloads of Indian tourists coming in most of the time. They are very popular too. This is a thali restaurant and Rajasthani items are their speciality. At 45dhs +vat, they are definitely not cheap but on tuesdays, they have a half price offer.Recently we had our Diwali office party here and everybody was happy with the food.Rajasthani food is not one of my favourite things, so suffice it to say, that some items were quite good. Our south indian friends also liked some items.Service is adequate.Good for people from north west India particularly, if they find the pricing within their budget. They also sell different types of north Indian sweets
MoreFinally this place has some nice chats and ala carte options as well. This was on the only thing was missing because whenever I used to pass by this place and sometimes dont feel like having heavy thali though its super amazing. Now they are serving chaats with colourful ambience and nice presentation.
MoreThis was the first time I have tasted Mumbai’s famous street food. I must say that the food, presentation, ambiance of restaurant, service, and quantity was excellent. I ate Pao Bhaji for the first time and really liked the taste of all the vegetable and pure butter in the dish. Rabdi Malpura was also superb.
MoreOne of the best vegetarian iftar happened in this place for me. Little did I know while I entered this colorful chic restaurant that I would love the food this much. Super vibrant ambience, cheerful staff and a spacious place, appropriate for families and big crowd. Been here for iftar during the week and fell in love with the spread.StartersHara bhara KababMini samosasKotmbir WadiKhaman DhoklaI relished all of it but Khaman Dhokla and Kotmbir wadi was the best .Chaatssev puriPaani PuriDahi wadaDahi wada was amazing and the beautifully presented with a topping of pomegranate seeds and was yum . Pani Puri goes without saying it was excellentMains-Paneer Butter masala, Tawa veg,Dal tadka, Pav Bhaji and Punjabi chole. Paneer butter masala and Punjabi chole were superb. Jeera rice and Paneer Dum BIryani were awesomeThe selection breads were thepla, phulka and puriThe desserts were the best without a second thought, there were crispy jalebis, Anjeer Halwa, Aamrhakand and Gulab Rabdi. I cant decide which one was the best but i think i had desserts more than the mains. Anjeer halwa was one of the best I have ever had . Aamrhakand made me satisfy the craving for this mango season in a superdelicious way, Gulab Rabdi was such a soother . All this just at a price of Aed 25, incredible isnt it .Nevertheless I can t wait to go back to this place soon again.
MoreWe were invited for a bloggers meet and were happy to check off the place from our bucket list as well. The place is split into two halves with one dedicated for the thali diners and the other half for the a la carte customers. The decor is vibrant with bright colors props such as the cycle with the tiffins, the insta-corner with window seats, and a live gola station. A place perfect for family and friends to catch up with.We decided to have a cold coffee for the drinks.Thepla Paneer 65 Tacos: A fusion that we truly relished. Theplas stuffed with juicy chunks of paneer presented in the form of tacos, we don’t see what’s there not to like. It was one of our favorite dishes.Pav Bhaji Fondue: Mini pieces of buttered buns and bhaji served on a burner with a tea light candle to keep the dish warm. Plus points for the presentation, making it insta-friendly.Indori Bhutee Ka Khees: A different take on your regular corn, instead here we have the sweet corn wrapped with lentils and spices mounted on a sugar cane stick. Totally loved the concept and the taste. Do not miss out on trying this one out!Chili Cheese Onion Paratha: This was a miss for us, it had an overload of cheese and onion with no chili to be found, plus it was a tad bit too salty for our tastes, so our advice would be to skip this dish.Breach Candy Grilled Cheese Sandwich: A well toasted sandwich with veggies and melted cheese. A nice snack for the evenings. The hospitality was impeccable. The pricing is somewhat on the pricier side, but worth the value for the quality. We shall be back to try the thali next time around.
More🇮🇳 An incredible cultural culinary experience today, where I had the pleasure of dining with Indians who understood each and every vegetarian dish we enjoyed so much. This restaurant is vibrant, full of color and clearly has s cult following as it was super busy with Indian families flocking to enjoy street food delights that take them home for as long as they’re dining at this thoughtfully planned restaurant with menu items even those who’ve never been to India will be inspired by the creations that taste truly delightful 😋 This is a Restaurant I’ll be happy to revisit as there’s much more than I ate today! Great service, portions generous and taste - well amazing! 😍 Well done chefs 👨🏼🍳 See you soon! 💙
MoreThis is my second time at this restaurant. We have always been here with our twins daughter and the staff is so humble that they make sure that kids are busy and playing so that parents can have food with peace. Staff also make sure to feed you as much as you can eat.Food- excellent taste with varietyStaff- very humble and cooperativeLocation- one star is missing due to location... Parking is a big issue always but if you can walk 5-10 min, you might get a parking nearbyPrice- Moderate
MoreWanted to have something UNLIMITED due to the hunger games being played in our stomach and we reached this place quickly by the overview in Zomato app.The place is quite big and there is ample space around. The thali had many options but everything was flat in taste. There were only a few things that we actually asked for second time and that were Paneer Kofta Curry, Daal ka Halwa and Khichdi. Rest everything was average or below average in taste. Probably would not visit them again as Karama has plenty of options and we still have a lot to try out..
