Great restaurant

Okay hotel. Nothing worth bragging about. But overall functional and clean. The most disappointing was the breakfast. The vegetables they put out were all dried up, as if they were outside the whole night.

Cyclists, be warned! As of August 2022, this hotel consists of multiple buildings, and unfortunately the newest building (Grand Khan Tengrihas anti-bike policies, no safe storage and extremely rude staff. We were told to leave our expensive travel bicycles ‘outside’, or to ‘go stay at another place’ if we didn’t like that. Indifference was their main behavior, which is the worst you can experience as a guest, and the reason for my 3-star review.We ended up staying 2 separate nights in two of the older buildings (Khan Tengri), before and after our bikepacking trip. Bikes are not allowed in the buildings, but our bikes could be stored behind a big, locked door in a garage full of junk near the entrance.The rooms (2 and 44in the buildings we stayed (main old building with lobby, and slightly newer dark wooden buildingare spacious and clean, with all the amenities needed—kettle, tea bags, hairdryer, soap and shampoo, fluffy towels, clothing closet, bedside lamp and ample wall sockets for charging electronics.Wifi connection was very bad in the old main building and stable in the dark wooden building.Breakfast is included in the price (we paid $33 a night, both timesand served in the restaurant on site. No buffet, instead you get a simple and typical Kyrgyz breakfast. The staff does understand ‘no meat’ if you ask them.Lunch and dinner can be ordered á la carte in the same restaurant every day at whatever time, and the dishes are very tasty and affordable. I can recommend the lentil soup and aubergine in sweet/sour sauce.My partner and I recommended this hotel in the video series of our At-Bashi Circuit bikepacking route before experiencing the outright nasty and disrespectful behavior of the staff at the Grand Khan Tengri, so unfortunately we have to adjust our recommendation to only the older complex. Whoever owns this hotel, they should really start taking cyclists seriously as at the end of the day, any guest should be a valued guest.

В самом отеле не были, заехали в ресторан пообедать. Мясо в Нарыне самое вкусное!!! Заказывали шашлык из баранины, это был самый вкусный шашлык в моней жизни

New, modern hotel Khan Tengri in Naryn. Very friendly stuff, good food, even for Vegan people.

К отелю нет претензий. А вот РЕСТОРАН это просто кошмар. А как стыдно было перед коллегами из Британии. Почему такое ужасное отношение к гостям. Официанты ходят толпами, в разных уголках общаются видимо об очень важном судя по их лицам. Ни одного из официантов не возможно дозваться. А администратор ресторана кажется живет на птичьих правах, не решит вам ничего. Это было такое разочарованние. Официанты вообще хамло, один приходит говорит обслуживание 15% через 5 мин подходит другой и заявляет что 20%. Их что никто не контралирует? В итоге мы поехали в другое место где нас хорошо встретили. Не ходите в ресторан Хан Тенгри потратите время и нервы!

Чистые, уютные номера со всеми удобствами. Самое лучшее - это конечно же завтрак😍. Время завтрака очень удобное - с 07:00 до 10:00, не нужно вскакивать и торопиться успеть поесть до закрытия. Думаю, что любой посетитель до 09:00 точно проснется и успеет спокойно насладиться завтраком. Вид из окна шикарный. Персонал вежливый. Теперь всегда будем останавливаться только в этом отеле, если будем в Нарыне. К сожалению, сам номер не сфотала((.

We hebben niet in het hotel geslapen, maar in het tegenoverliggende restaurant gegeten. Het was heerlijk! Echt een aanrader. Vriendelijke bediening.

We arrived at the hotel on 07/25/22 at 5:30 PM. After a long road - 7 hours. The room in which we were settled (room 308was not cleaned after past guests. On our offer to give another room, we were refused, they offered to wait in the corridor until the room was removed. Waited over half an hour. Disgusting attitude towards hotel guests.

What a hidden gem in Naryn! Super modern, well-equipped, clean and spacious room. Delicious breakfast in a buffet style. Staffs are of course very helpful and friendly.Can’t believe this high-quality service comes in very affordable price, 100% recommend.Please be careful, there are “Great Khan Tengri Hotel” and “Khan Tengri Hotel” in one address and my review is about the former.

Чистые, просторные комнаты.Вкусная, разнообразная еда в столовой.Гостиница оформлена красиво и современно.В лобби можно купить сувениры по нормальным ценам.Совсем недалеко от центральной улицы.

Very comfortable bed and good breakfast

Так много хвалебных слов было про это место. Разочарование и только разочарование. Так стыдно перед гостями из Голландии. Мало того что мне пытались доказать, что медальоны из говядины это стейк из семги, пришлось ждать заказы 1.5 часа. В конце ещё добавили блюда, которых мы не получали. Никому не рекомендую это место!

Шикарное место! Расположение, сервис на уровне. Цена соответствует качеству, завтра попробуем завтрак. Территория зеленая, постели чистые и приятно пахнут! Молодцы, только процветания и побольше постояльцев!

Красивое место. И блюда вкусные. Есть фонтанчик. Красивый газончик. Рядом отель. Мини банкетный зал хорош. Большой зал для тоев с парковочной зоной.

The only place with good location for getting a perfect dinner, the rooms are nice and enjoy the time despide that Naryn is not city for having a good time

New, clean and the staff are nice though my favourite staff member is leaving to school :(The breakfast is very elaborate and full. There is also a cappuccino machine. Restaurant is very close, and is great with excellent traditional dishes and national dishes and also western food.

We stayed for one night here! The hotel is very modern and the rooms are nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, a kyrgyz military group also stayed in the hotel. After having lots of vodka at dinner - they were super noisy in the hotel - always knocked on the door of our room because they mixed up rooms. Therefore we couldn’t really sleep. After calling the receptionist - they tried to talk to them and at some point - it was silent.

Naryn city, capital of the biggest region in Kyrgyzstan is located 320 km from bishkek. You can visit Tash Rabat caravanserai 150 km distance one way. Kelsuu lake also 150 kilometers one way, but going slightly in a dirfferent direction. You can visit Salkyn- Tor national park 18 kilometers one way.Khan Tengri hotel has amazing service level, unparalleled in Naryn region. The restaurant serves delicious meals that is as good or better than Bishkek restaurants. Rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious which is included in the price. You have to book ahead as it stays full. Best way is to email them

Rooms are clean. Free Wi-Fi with a decent bandwidth for this region. Breakfast is good. Not far from the city center. As of 2016, it costs 10 soms to get to the city center. There is also a restaurant on the territory of the hotel, but during the weekend you cant really go and order food at the restaurant, unless you tell them earlier, since this place is often booked for kyrgyz tois (wedding parties, birthday celebrations and etc). Stayed here 9 days, no complaints.
