Kerala Thattukada - Indian restaurant in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Nice food we visited at 3pm that time also fresh meals ready
The cleanliness is excellent here but the options for the evening snacks is very less and not recommended
Kerala food lovers can try .... Ambiance not good.
Ambience was not so good, food is okay its an okay place if you want to have keralite foods.
Their menu card is scam and unethical to customers... It was mentioned 5 AED for a fish starter in their menu card and we ordered. And they said its comes as four pieces. But they charged 5 AED per piece. If they are serving 4 pieces minimum per order, then they should mentioned as 20 AED instead of 5 AED. We felt cheated! And we ordered beef also. And it was not fresh
Tried out their chicken and beef masala along with some appam and parotha .Like the food although because of covid most of the dishes in the menu were not being made. (Understandable)Hence pls call to check before you drop byGood service over all .
Not bad. Reached at 12:30 night. The waiter was very good.
Super meal.enjoyed the lunch time.friendly staff.clean and neat environment.most important it is not expensive . I hope to visit again and suggesting everyone to visit kera thattukada for a good kerala meal.banana leaves (vaazhayila sadhyameal gives you an amazing experience.
Very bad service...once ordered chicken curry..it was full of black pepper even i had mentioned i need less spicy curry. Another time ordered chapati very very bad experience....it was not even half cooked..and the colour of chapati looked like the dough was made one day before...the packed chapati from lulu would be much better than this...waste of money and time..
Quick service quality foodAuthentic kerala cuisine 7 stars
Kerala Thattukada! a nice place to hangout to have traditional kerala food. The porotta and Dosa was fresh and crispy. The beef roast ordered was just okay. The beef was well cooked but the masala was too strong for my liking! Tried the fish pollichathe as well. The fish ordered was Hamour and it was wrapped in banana leaf and cooked perfectly. Kerala Thattukada is located in Sheik Zayed street, Yarmook, Sharjah. They have only 2 slots of parking available at the front of the restaurant which is a bit of inconvenience but can find plenty of parking lots nearby Jesco supermarket.
Okay place but not very good. Yes South Indian food available. average place if you dont any other option then this is not that bad
Good authentic kerala food. Spicy and tasty. We love it
alappey chickery is good, beef piralan need be improved a lot, chicken chutty curry need to be spicy and need to be cooked more.
Service is A class and the food even better. Whats more is that you can go for a late night dinner because its open till 0130am and I find that amazing!
Meals was gr8,fish is superb and payasam outstanding.but chicken biryani was just average and if put against quantity and quality the chicken lollipops is too pricey.
Absolutely amazing. Loved the food. Been to so many South Indian restaurants and this has to be one of the best. Every dish somehow managed to stand out.Great experience. Also, liked Jibins customer service.
food is not good. twice i went there specially for dinner. same amount if you spend in some small cafeteria, you can have nice food.
Food served is really bad...only their menu luks interesting but they dnt have even have half of tht in the menu... very less option.....
OMG... Aweosme food they make.... Once in a while I buy from here..... My favorite is their prawns dry roast.... And prawns fry...... Once in a month I buy from here.... Good, neat... Rates are high.. But thats okay... Because the food they serve is that much good quality and taste
Food is tastey ..family ambiance ...just make try
Good, tasty, clean and friendly
Decent Place for kerala food in this area.
We tried their fried rice and puttu beef curry. It was nice and tasty although the black tea was just okay.
Have been there 4 times. Never had a good experience.. they take a very long time to serve. They give us menu.. but unfortunately more than 75% of items wont be there.. they have few items and we are forced to take it.. no options.. waiting time is very high.. not friendly at all.. you order and after sometime they will come and say that food is over.. one of the worst restaurants I have ever been.. these are my personal experiences.. sorry to say this..
After hearing a lot of hype from others about this place, i was somewhat disappointed when i finally dined there. Though the food was delicious and reasonably priced, the ambience and the service put us off.The restaurant occupies an entire small 2 storied building, but the dining area is limited and they have tried to squeeze in too many tables instead of opting to provide sufficient spacing. Maybe they have allotted more space for kitchen, which is good, but they should have kept the dining area more relaxed.Regarding the service, we waited around 10 mins (in the dining area as there is no waiting areagetting weird looks from other diners as they felt awkward while we waited and seemed as a pack of wolfs circling around their food. When the table that we were promised was done, the waiter requested us to take the seat and we obliged. Unfortunately, it took another 10 mins for someone to clear the table of the previous diners dishes. I frantically waved around to get the attention of one of the waiter to take the orders (after requesting for a menu thoughand finally succeeded after few attempts and we placed out soup and starter orders. After deciding on the main course, it took some more waving n "excuse me"s to get their attention. Food was really good, kudos to the chef. When we wanted to request for some extra bread (porota, aapamwe looked around to request the waiter to take the order, and guess what... the waiter who took out order is dinning himself at a table few tables away from us.I guess the management need to provide better service and ambience for the talent of the chef.
It’s a Kerala Thattukada. You can feel the Kerala ambience and feel like you are sitting in. Kerala style hut. Foods are some what ok. Staffs are friendly and most of the staffs are from Pakistan.
The ambience was good. The food was okay. You will find it difficult to park your vehicle. I should say the restaurant is not so spacious both inside and outside. All the staffs are so into the TV that even we will wonder whats going on and we will also start watching it. They prefer Malayalam channels especially the news channel.
Traditional Kerala food available. normal price. Great feeling while sitting on first floor and looking through window to the traffic movement on the main road.
Decent place to enjoy Kerala cuisine. Parking in front of the restaurant is difficult but you will find plenty nearby.
Not a good ambienceVery costly compared to similar ranged restaurants.Food is ok.Not recommended.
Very good and tasty food, clean environment, very friendly staffs. And special items are superb taste. I will suggest fish mango curry, kothuporotta, and there will be more you like.
Good ambiance, Typical kaeralite tasty foods.. starters good.Servings and attitudes are appreciated. Soups are served in nice pots, mutton soup was good
I just love the style of the shop.. ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANT..., variety of menu, etc... However it could really be upgraded with lot more space..
Good Kerala restaurant , double story restaurant with 20 pax each floor capacity . Front side two parking spot are available but most of the time its occupied (back side road also parking available. All Kerala food are available both veg and non veg...Very tasty dishes but prices are little bit expensive
Really Tasty... Keralas traditional taste...
The worst experience i ever had from a restaurant. We 6 members waited more than 30mnts and had biriyani and puttu with so called ‘chicken curry’. Biriyani was not even worth of tasting.. chicken curry ohh no comments! very bad experience with the food offered!I don’t recommend to anyone 🙏🏼
Small but food is outstanding. Hygine, nice ambience and very polite staff.Do not forget to buy salted pineapple and goose.. its mouth watering...
A good place for Kerala cuisine. Too crowded for comfort on a Friday. A great malayalee curries and appams but never dare to try out anything veg. It was disastrous
Nice Restaurant with varieties of kerala dishes. Staffs are good and friendly.
Recently we had dinner from Kerala Thattukada.Restaurant is very spacious and their interior looks great for their name.Their welcome drink was commendable (orange juice with ginger added in it)We ordered Chicken Jungle book which comes in live fire in Tawa and it was very juicy (mixed with Oyster Sauce). As the waiter suggested us to have naadan curries, we opted exactly opposite (which was a mistake from ussuch as butter chicken and Chilli chicken. Chilli chicken was ok and other was not upto the mark. The breads (wheat porotta, dosa and Chappathi is not that great. The staff was very friendly and courteous.
I loved the food. Though the place looks but cramped but the food overshadowed it. The staff is quite friendly with special care towards children.Food 4/5Ambience 3/5Service 4/5
