Kenzo Ramen in London

Tried three of their king menu items. King of kings, shoyu king, and tonkotsu king.The portion was rightly big as advertised. But the soup base for all ramen dishes were lacking in flavour. King of kings soup base was very oily and only tasted of chili oil and red chillies. Shoyu king soup base tasted flat with merely saltiness and some soy sauce, tasting like a very commercialized low quality soup. Tonkotsu king was similar to that of shoyu king, very flat, no depth in flavour, and salty.Some of my noodles werent cooked all the way through.The meat was on the drier side, and the flavour of the marinated egg did not compliment the dish.Probably one of the worst locations for this franchise, at least based on my experience.

Go to ramen spot in London. A bit pricier than other places for ramen but the quality is worth it. The portion also matches really well with the price. This is the best place to go to for ramen in London.

Kenzo has the best ramen in London without a doubt. The staff is always very kind as well.

We love the Tonkotsu Ramen. Definitely the best broth and lots of yummy toppings! They dont cheap out on the noodles either. I also think its very cute inside which makes it all the more enjoyable. We usually get takeout and my biggest complaint is that the containers for brother dont usually get filled enough. I understand they dont get filled completely but when I ordered the "Standard" miso ramen for myself it wasnt even filled half way! That said, I would probably dine-in from now on because it negates the issue. Staff are friendly too.

Great experience, food was hot and served relatively quick exactly as we each 10 in our group ordered. I had the Black Tonkotsu Ramen, ordered extra garlic and chili paste on the side. It was exploding with flavour, the pork slices were amazing and tender and had even more flavour. I have had slightly better in Toronto and Vancouver, but for London, this is 5 star Ramen all day! The take out isnt as good in my opinion, but that is true with any food except pizza. Go in to eat Ramen, already looking forward to returning as the weather gets colder.

Best ramen place in London, thats for sure! We had the Tsukemen and the Tonkotsu King and both were great. The tsukemen was really good for the dipping broth was flavorful. The broth for the tonkotsu couldve been deeper and bolder in flavor, but it was good nonetheless. The Chicken Karaage was okay, not really a fan of it. The chicken pieces were a tad bit small, which made the dish dry. The sauce was good though. I will definitely be back for more ramen!!!

Went here over 5 years ago and it was the best i ever had. My recent trip was different but still pretty good for London. They used to torch their chashu and it gave it a nice smokey flavour but they stopped doing that.

I enjoy eating here whenever possible. I have always found the wait staff very friendly and polite, kitchen service to be quick, and the food tasty. My go-to is the shio ramen, with an order of chicken karage to go or share.

Worst noodles I have ever had. Absolutely tasteless. Could barely swallow a single bite. Overpriced. Not too mention the poor ambiance

ordered through doordash. ordered ramen soup and it came without a bowl. The soup came in a container and the noodles and meat came in a square shallow box. Its a to-go so obviously it will be eaten outside of the restaurant. How did they expect me to eat it?!?!? I had to search for a bowl to enjoy it.

The Tantanmen is delicious and they are very consistent. Had it about 4x within one month and it was the same deliciousness every single time. Highly recommended.

I am completely obsessed with this place. I’ve tried ramen at a few different places in Toronto and this place is much better! Would eat here once a week if possible. Always delicious, quick and great service! Love it!

For the price of the place its totally worth it. The favour isnt amazing but you get what you pay for. Ordered a shoyu based ramen, miso based ramen and a Nagasaki champon.Compared to places in GTA, its lacking depth and flavour. For London, its good. The noodles were a bit soggier than desired.

I’m a Ramen beginner. My main experiences with ramen are instant noodles. I’ve tried authentic Ramen before and was very shocked and kinda disappointed that it was nothing like the noodles I was familiar with.This is my second try at it and I LOVED the Shoyu Ramen from Kenzo Ramen. It was a delicious salty broth (not creamywith plenty of flavour and the thin, curly noodles I love (I learned my mistake from the first time: I don’t like udon). All the other parts of ramen that I was always scared to try were all great. The Naruto (which I think doesn’t come with this dish, but I got anywaytastes like bland imitation crab. But if you let that and the egg soak in your broth for a long time, they both taste delicious. I prefer to skip the menma (tastes like mushrooms, which I hate), but the pork shoulder was so yummy and satisfying.Overall, as a newbie to good ramen, I consider this to be good ramen.

Got the tonkatsu ramen. Was really quite good. Pork was tasty and noodles were delicious and fresh.Not the absolute best ramen Ive ever had but excellent quality and would not rate it lower just because Ive had a few others that were spectacular.You wont be disappointed by the ramen here. Should also mention, this is A LOT cheaper than those other fancy ramens. Starting at under $10 for some of them is a great price for the quality.

This was the best bowl of ramen I ever tried. The king shouya dish includes Bok Choy, seaweed, pork or chicken, Naruto Maki cakes, as well as a soy sauce base. Was really good food and the waitresses were very kind and helpful.

I’ve had many delicious meals at Kenzo - their Black Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen, Katsu Kari and Gyoza are all my favourite versions in the city. They spice their Char Siu pork slices to perfection! Their service in person is usually quick and attentive, even when the place is packed, and they do a fabulous job prepping their ramen for takeout, packaging everything separately. Ordered takeout over the weekend and tried their Tsuke Men for the first time - the char siu was cooked a little extra (and all the better for itand the dipping sauce was a little sweet, a little tangy and had a bit of heat. The tonkatsu broth was as complex and creamy as ever and the noodles have the perfect amount of chew and a fresh, rich, eggy taste. My pick for ramen in the city!

A welcome addition to the continued diversity in cuisine around London. Found the place lacking though in terms of ambience, atmosphere, and accessibility. The washrooms are only accessible by stairs and also doesnt have no touch fixtures. The food was okay, they still use normal menus even during covid and the tables felt dirty. Saw them sit a large group beside us even though there was room to physically distance.

Amazing service and their ramen is good, however, this particular location isn’t as good as other ones I’ve tried in Mississauga. The interior design could also use some work compared to other locations! Other than that, friendly service and good ramen selection!

Great food, great service! Its easy to walk right past Kenzo - its a narrow restaurant, set back a bit, without a flashy sign - but its well worth a stop! The tonkotsu ramen is my favourite but they are all delicious and the vegetarian options are particularly good. Its a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Even better, the servings are very generous for the price!

Wow this place is great! The food is really good, the best ramen in London. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. The prices are fair and you wont regret coming here. Had the Nagasaki Champon and the Black Tonkotsu. They were amazing.

Its a great place to try ramen, especially if youre new and want to see the different kinds of ramen available. The staff are beyond nice and very attentive. I couldnt ask for better service.

My partner had the seafood Ramen and I had a sesame one with ground meat. We paid 80cents for the extra eggs because yummy! Very generous serving with plenty of toppings to broth ratio. We also had the gyoza which had a crispy fried size and a delish dipping sauce. I really liked the branded bowls and chopsticks. A nice touch. Service was quite quick even when it started to get busy. Fair price for being stuffed to our brims.

Honestly pretty mediocre. The portions are also very small for $15 ramen. The taste is also alright without much depth as I would have expected from a bone soup. Overall, give it a try but I wouldn’t expect too much.

Medium budget and best quality?- then it’s a must visit to Kenzo Ramen-Great evening at this Japanese restaurant with my buddy. I wasn’t expecting such a cosy restaurant, until the hot noodles came on a sizzler type platter.Only one waitress (she is the hostess too ). She is really an asset to the restaurant. She was fast and managed every orders, billing, welcoming customers and so on..The food was delightfully delicious in regarding its sides, soup, salad and appearance.I just want to remind Kenzie Ramen that all the menu items should be available at all the times. Incase if you don’t have make sure you inform your guests prior or remove it from the menu.I can’t wait to try the hot sake next time 🥂

First timer!.. came here with my family (who has had kenzo before - st.cath locationIve never had ramen before and let me tell you! This is a great place for ramen, for great price! Staff was very friendly when you walk in the door. Ambiance is mininalistic and semi intimate. Lots of natural sunlight during the day and warm lighting in evening.Food came out fast and hot. First thing I noticed was how much noodles you get! So much noodles. The eggs were cooked nicely. The best part of the dish was the pork! Omg if you like to eat porkchops! Thats what the pork taste like. So good. Daum! I havent tried anything else from this place. So I think it well deserves a 4 star only because I havent had any other ramen to compare it too but it was very good for my first try.

Came here to Kenzo Ramen in London based on reviews. I ordered the Black Tonkatsu and it tasted exactly how I expect it to although the veggies were more Chinese than Japanese (wouldve preferred nori instead). The noodles are thin but cooked well and the egg was cooked perfectly.What I didnt get is why they served the ramen with metal chopsticks. The heat from the soup made the chopsticks super hot and I felt like I was burning my lips as I ate with each bite. Other than that, the overall experience was good and would possibly come back but might try out other places first when I return to London

I finally had the chance to eat here with two other friends, and wow was really surprised. The ramen portions are huge, I had enough for two meals the next day. In addition, the taste was great, really flavourful. The only other ramen Ive had in london is from Sakata ramen and I actually preferred the taste of Kenzo ramen. The dumplings are also really tasty and stuffed full of pork. I highly suggest this place but go early cause it gets packed around lunch and dinner.

Ive been looking for the right ramen to satisfy my pallette, Ive finally found it. I also found it really cute how they greet you in Japanese when you leave and enter.

I cannot get enough of this place and they know my order as soon as I walk into the restaurant. Amazing selection of ramen and always absolutely delicious. I never leave a scrap of food behind!

I really enjoyed the menu selection at this new Ramen shop, which includes onigiri. The wait staff were pleasant and polite and service was quick when I arrived 45 minutes before closing. I had the tsuke-men Ramen; the broth was a nice blend of salty and barely spicy, the pork was very delicious and the noodles had a good spring to them. The soft soy egg was not as good as Im used to in Toronto. I ordered two onigiri to go, and while theyre very big I wish they were a little cheaper, or had a multi discount. Prices are a little high for Ramen but with so few alternatives in London they are the better choice. I do feel the broth should be served a little hotter to compete with the strong air conditioning blowing down onto many of the tables. I ate fast and my broth was cold by the end. Will be back!
