Kent Owl Academy in Battersea

Had the owl and meerkat experience which was brilliant thanks to a warm welcome from Charlotte and excellent session with Molly who was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Mollys enthusiasm and care for all creatures is impressive and we would definitely recommend this experience 👌 we were in quiet woodland behind the owlery

Absolutely amazing! The experience was unforgettable, loved flying the owls and meeting all the animals. My niece was brought around by Molly and Sabian; they were both incredible with the birds and reptiles and their knowledge with all of the animals made it seem even more of a personal encounter. All of the volunteers are so lovely, definitely recommend for all ages.

My 8 year old daughter had an owl experience with Charlotte, it was really informative and interesting. She held the owls and stroked them.Then my daughter flew an owl which she said was magical, and she cant wait to go again

We booked a Childrens Experience for our 9 year old daughter and it was incredible! Volunteer Summer took the time to show us 5 owls, which our daughter held, stroked (when appropriateand flew. Summer was amazing, obviously very passionate about owls and very knowledgeable. A great day out and wonderful memories created. Highly recommend!

Kent owl academy is phenomenal. I saw lots of birds of prey and owls and meerkats it was so life changing.And the staff were nice too.

Was an amazing day out with friends, the staff here where all really helpful and knew a lot on the animals, they answered any questions I had and it was a really fun day.

I came to kent owl to do an experience to meet owls and meerkats, I never expected to come out with so much more. Everyone was so knowledgeable and kind! We got to hold and even fly an owl! Then at the end we got to go in and meet the meerkats, I never expected them to be so kind and one even jumped on my leg ☺️ And on our way out we got to meet flower, I had never seen a skunk before and definitely was a cool experience. I do recommend!! A massive thank you to the team and I will be coming again xx

It’s was a great day out with friends and family got to see all of the amazing birds of prey and got to see some of them fly as well. Staff was very polite and answered any questions that I asked.

This was amazing! We purchased the owl and meerkat experience and could not be happier. We had a private tour where we learned a lot about the owls, asked all kinds of questions, all while holding the birds and even got to fly one of them!I was surprised by the societal structure of meerkats and loved seeing them close. They even climbed on my partners shoulder!Charlotte and Jack were very professional, knowledgeable and kind. I could not be happier. Its a really great day out in a beautiful location and everyone will have an amazing time.

Had a fantastic day with my grandchild. Shes 2 and had the time of her 2 year life. Be honest I did to. Set in the Kent Life museum in Lock Lane Sandling where this abundance of things to do. Will definitely go again.

So in love with the owls at the Academy. Ted and Percy are absolutely adorable and friendly, they loved being stroked. Flying Casper the barn owl was a dream come true. Willow, our guide was extremely knowledgeable on the subject of owls and would recommend paying for the owl and meerkat experience. We were able to cuddle 2 week old meerkats, who would have ever imagined that?

I have been trying to contact the Owl Academy to book the owl experience as I purchased vouchers as a present for a family member. Despite leaving several messages on the voicemail and emailing them I have still had no response. Getting worried as vouchers run out in September and have been unable to book sooner due to Covid. Just would like someone to acknowledge my comminication.

My wife and i had a splendid afternoon at the Owl Academy.Annie the volunteer was extremely knowledgeable about the owls and put over the Encounter so well.We got to handle 5 owls and Cupid was allowed to fly to us it was so Brilliant.My wife loves owls it was so nice for her to hold and stroke the beautiful birds..I gave 5 stars to the Academy as they put on a brilliant afternoon for us..Well done Mollie and Annie..Thanks again.Anthony BlakeJanice Blake.🦉🦉

I got treated to an owl encounter for my birthday by my other half and I COULD NOT have been happier with my experience. Not only are all of the owls stunningly beautiful but the trainers that handle them are a dream. We met Annie who is a volunteer trainer and Molly who was the academys handler. Annie was primarily the one showing us around, her passion for animals is unbeatable and her knowledge on the animals extensive. The love for her job and the owls she works with shone through. I want to thank her for the educational aspect that she gave both of us and for being so welcoming and attentive along the tour. I could not have asked for a better day out (even if we were battling a very wet, rainy Thursday afternoon!). If like me you have anyone who has a passion for Owls this is the place to go!

Absolutely brilliant experience!I wanted to get my girlfriend something to do with owls and I couldnt have got a better deal. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly and we got tons of fun facts and stories about owls as well as meeting some face to face. The best bit was having an owl fly onto my arm!5 star because I was allowed to take as many photos as I could to get the best shots

Amazing experience.The staff were lovely. We had a relatively new young lady with us who was great. And all staff were so helpful and knowledgeable.The owls were so lovely and well looked after. All seemed very happy and eager to be out and meet us!Would definitely recommend

What a great time. Hubby was handling the Owls..a Birthday Pressie from our Daughter. We all had a wonderful time. Charlie and Sam who were handling the Owls were so knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions without hesitation. Added to that we walked round afterwards..lots of other Animals to see and pet..sheep..Alpacas..Pigs..Goats.to name just a few. Fabulous place for Kids and Adults too. Nice refresher in Dottys Tea Room as well..

28th SeptemberWe were bought an owl experience voucher for my daughter at Christmas and so booked in to come today.We were met by Dan who explained to us what would happen during the experience.Before we knew it my daughter had on a glove and was holding a tiny owl called Ted and then held another one called Percy. We then went off to see the owl that’s used for wedding ceremonies!Throughout the session Dan (and his helper Samwere really informative, interesting and really knew his stuff.We really enjoyed our time and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone - we would go back again in a heartbeat!Thank you, from Millie (& her mum !)

A fantastic experience with the owls and Charlotte. Wonderful learning all about them and getting really up close. Far more relaxed atmosphere to other experiences Ive been on with a lovely family feel. Will definitely be going again. Thank you to everybody.

I booked the Owl Experience day as a special time for my girlfriend who is very fond of them from afar. This was an awesome opportunity to get up close and personal with these lovely birds. We had a lovely time holding and flying them and a massive thank you to Emma a very knowledgeable person on the subject (and Gordon assisting. A great day for those that love such birds.

Yesterday I was, lucky enough to visit the Kent Owl Academy for a photoshoot. What an amazing little place this is. A fantastic team of people and some beautiful owls in a lovely location. Its so worth a visit. You might even see a meerkat or two.Treat yourself to a very pleasant afternoon out. Heres a little phone snap of Ted. Go on, visit, its great.

We went for the Owl Experience and two wonderful and extremely knowledgeable volunteers (Maddy and Anniespent a couple of hours letting us handle and fly a variety of owls and answering all our questions. They also do a lot of excellent owl conservation work, which your money from the experience helps to fund.

And thanks for the academy giving the owls such a lovely home. By the way, the farm itself is nice too, its also a museum which we enjoyed very much!

Amazing experience, great value for money. We got to spend 1 hour 50 minutes with the owls, 1-1 petting and flying several birds. Friendly knowledgeable staff, would strongly recommend.

Fantastic day out for the family. The owls are very well cared for and its agreat environment to learn while having fun. Mollie is incredibly knowledgable and has a real passion for what she is doing, it’s so refreshing to see.The shows are excellent and give you a real insight into the lives of owls. I booked the Owl Encounter experience as a surprise for my girlfriends birthday - It was much more personal than other animal experiences we have visited.. We werent bundled with a group nor rushed with any parts of the experience. The staff are very welcoming and clearly have a lot of knowledge and care for the owls - Mollie and Maddie had so many facts and stories!Thanks Kent Owl Academy for making the day so memorable, have already recommended this place to others and well be back in the future :)

Love this place! Took my gran for an experience day for her birthday and she loved it!! The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and the animals are all well looked after! Definitely recommend it to people of all ages.
