I really love the Kims Bao Bun and the Chicken Katsu sooooo much!The Bao Bun fat was my favourite which was juicy and tender.The Chicken Katsu with brown rice and lots salad.A good taste and healthy choice in town.

Spicy pork belly on bed of fresh salad and multi grain rice. They were so nice and spicy, I definitely go back for more sometime soon 😋

I stopped in here for lunch today and I was absolutely blown away! I got one chicken and one pork belly bao bun with a side of karaage chicken and when I say it was absolutely phenomenal, I mean it was almost a spiritual experience. The karaage chicken was the right amount of crunchy and nicely cooked, but the pork belly was probably the best pork belly I have ever eaten in my life! Perfectly balanced flavours and absolutely melted in my mouth. I will 100% be coming back here and recommending to everyone who asks me where to eat in Dunedin!

Took my partner to Kenko to try something new. We were very impressed with the food. I had the teriyaki chicken on rice and my partner had the spicy pork belly. We loved it so much we took our household there again within a week, and he even went back again for lunch in the same week as well.

Incredible food, fresh fast and hot. Staff were friendly and kind, the seating area is smaller but fits perfectly for what kenko is! You wont be dissapointed.

Had the chicken katsu box here, chicken itself tasted great but otherwise the whole meal was quite bland and dry, even with sauces on. Both salads and rice didn’t look very fresh. Was reasonably priced though and a fairly big portion :)

It’s a shame that the one’s better rated Japanese restaurant in this area does anything but traditional Japanese food.Formulaic, subway style salad rice bowl is not Japanese good.Even the seasoning are overly simplified and I got only salt on the table for self-serving.Perhaps it’s my fault to expect a certain level of authenticity in some small foreign town, but I have to say many Asian cuisines have lost their soul in Dunedin.

Was better before they changed it. Got double protein which wasnt very much at all. You get to pick your salads etc but definitely was alot better last time. We had quite a wait and they werent busy...

Tasty,fresh food with enough options, even in that awkward 4.30pm young kids dinner time. Service was good, atmosphere: calm little pocket off the main drag. Will be heading back regularly.

Probably the best Japanese weve ever had.

Really stoked with our meals at Kenko this week. We choose to eat in and the atmosphere was really awesome. Super clean and the staff are so nice and explain all the meal options. The meal was so tasty will definitely come back again. I got the tofu as my meat option and it was delicious. Great value for money
