Kempinski Hotel Fleuve Congo - in Mushie, DR Congo
Very nice place
Super clear and excellent service 👌I however found the food a bit pricy. Nonetheless the food was worth every cent.
The best hotel in Kinshasa. Thank you to the best team in reservation Miss Sylbi and Tresor. The best front desk staff Giresse andJoel. This place have the best food at a reasonable price. Great location and the hotel have the best security team. Overall nothing but good experience. Thank you!
Service in hotel is shocking a are predicted
Beautiful place great service. Covid complacent on another level
Lovely hotel great service with a great view of River Congo
Great rooms, not good vibes at the restaurant area
Really nice breakfast !
The Fleuve Congo Hotel is a true landmark on the Kinshasa skyline!Personal Service and attention to detail is truly 5 star and all services are readily available to conduct business. Rooms are spacious and well equipped and the food from the various restaurants world-class.
Good reception and professional staff. Nice rooms with view of Congo River
Best views and service in town!!
Unbelievable poor service, it must be a management issue..it looks like the employee wants to do the best. Will for sure stay in another hotel for my next trip.
Beautiful hotel but service is very slow. Also, some stuff at front desk dont seem to know much
Facilities are top and location is very good, probably one one of the best place in Kinshasa. However, the restaurant Hevea is the worst I have ever eaten in Kinshasa. Prices are outrageous while the food is sometime innommable. I stayed there but had to go dine at the adjacent hotel (Pullmanwhich has a nice restaurant serving delicious dishes at reasonable prices. If there is no change in the hotel fleuve restaurant, there is no point to stay there anymore.
The place is lovely. I think its the best hotel in Kinshasa.
I recommend fleuve Congo hotel to any client who want to have the best of customers experience that last in terms of service delivery, ambiance, environment and facility. They are top notch and highly friendly hospitality firm in Democratic Republic of Congo.I rate them 4.5 in terms of service excellence.ThanksMonday Enyinnaya Ironcho Pst.
The 22-floor Fleuve Congo (KempinskiHotel.A view of the Congo River, that separates Kinshasa and Brazzaville. The iconic and beautiful, well-lit Route de la Corniche bridge in Brazzaville in the background.
Very expensive. Def not 5 star. Service decidedly average
This is a 5 star hotel in a nice part of Kinshasa. The breakfast is exceptional and the rooms are very nice too. Pool, jacuzzi, full weight room, room service... This place has it all including its own security.
Truly a five star experience. It’s a heaven of an oasis in chaotic Kinshasa. Loved the spacious room with a beautiful shower, comfortable bed and lovely view of the river. Food at the restaurant was great, and so was breakfast in the morning. Check in and out was efficient. Only thing was that the wifi connection was a bit weak. Definitely worth the stay.
Wonderful property. Rooms are excellent, food (at Heveawas truly fantastic and I have been enjoying a much needed respite here. Staff are kind and curious and service is fast. After weeks in the Congo this is a wonderful treat.
The place is very beautiful and good rooms especially the bathtub. I enjoyed the Birthday cake.😍😍😍😍
Best hotel in Gongo ..from rooms to service delivery..Staff and security allaround found good mannered friendly..food is very good
Sadly the lasting memories of this definitely upper-class place are only average-ish... Expected much much more based on the price tag and their reputation / Kempinski-heritage. I was privileged to have stayed there for a week that was paid for by someone else, but somehow all the trimmings and "surface" glitter did not manage to convince me that I will be a customer that will return, especially if I have to pay for it myself. Service is not consistent (some of the employees are really trying their best, which is sad as they are the ones that suffer from the unacceptable influence and resulting impressions of inadequacy of the more visible staff.)
If you looking for a place to stay in kinshasa without having to worry about food security. This is the place. Electricity always on however wifi is not the greatest . I would highly recommend you get vodacome on your phone which is faster. Otherwise this hotel provide everything you need.
Worst business travel hotel in my 30yrs of traveling!!- no airport pickup- rooms have no shower, just a tub: so make sure to ask for a room with a shower if you prefer, at check in.- room service is terrible!! They promise max 30min wait but expect to wait at least 1hr or more. I waited 90 min twice!!. And the dinner is warm, should be hot. And you have to request salt n pepper.- the restaurant service is terrible!! Wait staff is inattentive, table setup between guests takes time, cutlery may or may not be in place etc.- flies, flies, flies....- buffet offering is decentWill definitely stay some place else next time....
Food is amazing. Great service and staff that are multilingual
Very nice hotel in Kinshasa. One of the top hotels in town located in a safe area. However the management needs to improve service.
I enjoyed the quality of the service here. And the restaurant around the swimming pool is amazing. One of my top 3 places in Kinshasa when I cross the river from Brazzaville, well expensive but worth it. I recommend this place.
Outstanding view of river. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful and rooms are spacious and well designed. Hotel has access to gym as well.
Great location with excellent security. Privacy available at the executive lounge. Nice views.
Id advise folks NOT to stay here. Some of the rooms have a nice view of the river; BUT currently the restaurant is under repair so theres inadequate space for guests to eat, and we end up roaming the dining room staring at tables that havent been cleaned and hovering around them like vultures in order to have a chance to sit. The staff (except for the omelet women who are lovelyis rude and lazy, I had to beg for a knife or a napkin. Nobody (except the omelet ladiessmiles or is nice. Amenities in the room werent replaced, the room itself has plaster falling off the ceiling, the drapes dont close properly, room service doesnt even bring salt and pepper if asked. The rooms and the foods are really pricey and sub-par for what you pay. Gym smells and is hot, often crowded because they allow non-guests to use it. If you use it near closing hours the gym staff stalk you until you leave, and theyre also unfriendly. This hotel needs new management, lots of customer service training, and an overhaul. Find another hotel.
We am severely disappointed in this Hotel! Our experience has been horrible. We arrived for check in at 2am only to be told that the hotel was full with NO rooms. The lady at check in kept shrugging her shoulders as if she had no intention of helping us. I pulled out my phone to check the hotel website to find that several rooms were listed as available! After confronting her with this information, she gave some story that the website is wrong and there are actually no rooms in the entire hotel. I asked her “So if I book this room from the website right now, what will you do?” She said “we will tell you we don’t have any rooms.” I asked “what will management think when I call them about that?” Suddenly, she changed her story and said she could find something. After about 5 minutes she said she had found 4 rooms, one for each member of our party currently checking in.This is deceitful and disgusting. We have dozens of other members booked at this hotel. If this is the Kempinski way, then rest assured that we will not be staying at any location worldwide. We have stayed in the Pullman hotel before and have always gotten 5 star/5 diamond world class service. Even cheap American hotels like Knights Inn or Motel 8 have better service than this. We will be sure our organization never books with this establishment again. How does your hotel operate like this?
Great river view, good breakfast and daily buffet meals. Rooms need updating. Hall a bit too busy/crowded to my taste
I am thoroughly disappointed with the place. Service is really poor. Very hostile staff members. My first two visits in 2018 is was really good but my third visit was horrific. I am definitely not coming back.
The hotel is fine, but they do NOT have accessible WiFi. Their offering is so poorly set up and insecure that no reasonable os will interface. You will need your own hotspot. This is subpar a da big pain.
Nice hotel with spacious rooms and good customer service. There are rooms with view to the river and others that dont.Security in African hotels is very important so they check your luggage with Xray scanner before entering the hotel and you have to pass a metal detector.
Good location overlooking the famous river Congo and Brazzaville city at the extreme end of the river bank. The hotel enjoys the presidential security detail by virtue of its proximity to the presidential residence. Walking or jogging outside the hotel was very safe. The gym, swimming pool and large tennis courts are excellent recreational facilities. The hotel lobies and restaurants are neat. Self-contained Rooms are spacious and so far one of the the best hotels that I have ever come across in Africa. The staff were very friendly. I will be back definitely
Wow. Fantastic stay. Best in Kinshasa. Pullman is almost as good. Everything for the business traveler including "company" out by the pool. If you dont want company just "shoo" them along. No disturbances at night or late night calls to the room. Great hotel.
Not worthed in my opinion. Better to go to Pullman across the street.1The personal look at you like you dont belong there2Not friendly the staff3One day they excluded all guests from the swimming pool because there was a wedding. Though, all guests payed for the service of having a swimming pool. Criminal.4WIFI is extremely poor....Even sometimes on my room I couldnt upload pictures to do my expenses. For a 5 star hotel.......Not satisfied at all!
One of the best hotels in Kinshasa.A bit expensive compared to similar places but the hotel is very good. They have 2 bars but they both close at 11pm, which is really a pity.
The hotel is very beautiful and clean. The food was delicious and they go all out.
I stayed at the Kempinski Fleuve Congo hotel for a week during a business trip and really enjoyed my stay. I loved the great view of the Congo River from my room! Excellent customer service. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. Hat off to the chef. The food was delicious with many healthy options! Grand merci aux personnel pour lexcellent service et laccueil chaleureux !
Good location, nice rooms and facilities. Staff is always at the ready with a smile on their face
Beautiful hotel on the banks of the mighty Congo river. Most rooms have a view of the river. You can see Congo Brazzaville on the other side of the river.
The food was excellent. The was service efficient. I love the ambiance. I will Definitely eat here again
Nice hotel. Beautiful views on the Congo river. Service is OK and breakfast generous.
Totally fell in love with the place. Great place to stay in. Clean and spacious rooms. Large variety of food.
Very nice hotel with great staff, very caring reception team throughout our whole stay.
From the metal detector that they insisted I go through each day despite it always going off and then there being no follow up check to the forty-five minutes I spent trying to settle a bill that they insisted was being sent to the wrong room to some guy named Ken when it wasnt to the $20 dollars they wanted to charge me for losing a plastic key card to all of the terribly shoddy Chinese building and appliances made to look expensive but disintegrate on touch to countless other tales of frustration on a grand scale, just dont stay here. I hear there are better places in Kinshasa and this is far overpriced. It would be a steal at $50 dollars a night. It is not $50 a night.
