For what you pay, there are so many things that need to work better. Especially because the competitors offer such a better service. The people are really nice but some services just worked very bad. For example 1The key system is absolutely horrible. Every day I go to go to reception because I cannot enter my room, really in a 5 star hotel? 2. The cleaning service. Every day they forgot to put towels in the room. Not so pleasant when you are already in the shower. One day no shampoo, the following one no soap. Really, in a 5 star hotel?. 3. Out of 5 nights so far, in 3 of them the cleaning service would leave my door open, to find that at 8pm coming back from work is not so pleasant. Lights ON, AC ON...not so enviromentally friendly, no? A lot of capacity building is needed.

The place is good but the location is over crowded, no free parking and the hotel has only valet parking service, you cannot park your car in the 500m vecinity area.

Old hotel, rooms stink of smoke, even in a non smoking room, and when you tell them they come add some « refreshing perfume » that doesn’t help at all. Finally, they gave us another room that smelt a little bit better. The gift shop is never open, and when you ask they say the person is on break (we’ve checked 2-3times in the afternoon, the person was on break all these times). The pool closes super early. The service at the cafe is unbelievably slow. The hotel looks abandoned, no one is there and there seems to be half of the staff present. Would absolutely not recommend. Doesn’t live up to the kempinski standard AT ALL! staff is really nice, but that’s about it for the positive things in the hotel. Not to add that their wifi doesn’t work at all.

We reached here at 1.30 pm as per Amman time. By the time we reached, lunch was ready. Only thing which was not ready were our rooms. Luckily we got our room. But others had to wait. This point should be improved. Rest all things are good. Also they provide complimentary gifts to their guests. Wonderful stay with wonderful view.

The hotel experience was fine here (great food and service in the hotel restaurant, quite room floors, clean hotel room, etc.EXCEPT for the spa. Do yourself a favor and do not use the spa services at this hotel. Especially if you’re used to a western spa experience. The spa area was very dirty (steam room had dirt and hair on the ground and looked like it had not be cleaned in days), but more over the receptionist that was covering at the spa desk was disrespectful (not the main spa manager, older gentleman that was there during the day, he was kind, respectful, and customer service oriented). When I was leaving the hotel I let the hotel staff know and they were truly apologetic and wanted to make things right. Again, my experience at the hotel (other than the spawas fine and I would stay there again when visiting that region but NOT USE THE SPA. Again, save your money and don’t use the spa.

Is it because i dont like some of the staff cannot talk english properly and ill mannered,theres one name i remember taer or taher🤔 sorry i dont dont do this personally,and not just him actually.Places,foods rates by 2 also.I was really not expecting to be my experience to be like this.Hoping someday if i can come again i can talk to someone more politely and to delivered the the speak which we can understand each other.Thank you.

Good hospitality services, Thanks to all teams front office, F&B, Concierge, House keeping and security.Just couple points, A/C in rooms very difficult to adjust and rooms odour needs to being in good smell.

I have been going to kempinski ishtar every year when I visit back home, and i always have a pleasant time. Unfortunately this years visit has shown me kempinski ishtar has definitely downgraded. Our rooms bathroom had a terrible smell and needed renovation, service was not as attentive as they used to, buffet doesn’t have a wide variety as it was,(this is during peak season). The main infinity pool needs renovation the floor is sharp and it cut my toe.. what happened? I always praised this hotel as one of the best in Jordan but this time it was such a downgrade. I hope it’s just a hiccup and it goes back to the way it used to be.

Hope this comment finds you well and see my comment last year.I have been a member at Kempinski Spa since last year. I enjoy going to the pool during summer and using the spa facilities, unfortunately this year we have witnessed somehow a change at the pool which I would like to enlist:1. The service at the pool became very weak.2.   Sometimes they are asking us to leave early like at 4:00.3.       Also, this year they offered a membership subscription of 170JD for a couple per month which was very good offer, but now they are going to raise the membership to 225JD per person per month.4.       Last year the entrance was 25JD fees + 5JD food voucher which was really good. Now this offer has been suspended and they take 30JD fees during weekends.5.       When they ask to raise the entrance or the membership fees they should also offer better services in return.I believe there is mismanagement at the pool while taking into consideration that other hotels are offering better services by all means.I would greatly appreciate taking my above comments into consideration, because I’m a dedicated regular client and would like to keep on going there as I used to.Sincerely,

I speak for more than 15 members at kempinski amman this year, we are so upset about alot of things like:1. Service at pool.2. The changed in members fees from 100 jd per person to 225 jd per person.3. Closing the pool early4. Alot of things about some of employees thereAlso we told them but no one was concerned.

Staff are kind, moved me from a loud room overlooking the pool on a wedding night to more quiet room. Hotel a bit dated and spa/massage experience was very mediocre (person was pushing oil around on my body but didnt really seem to know what to do and got charged a hefty amount).

I am happy to say the service and the staff are extremely professional and polite.The breakfast is super fresh and the Chef is extremely professional. I attended a wedding at h2o pool venue, it was so beautiful but the space is small, and tables are far from the dance floor.. the surprise was that the food was not as good as kempinski level … specially the chicken and fish dishes! The salads were great… but the main courses needs improvement

Great place to be in for a business trip, great team and service especially the concierge team especially Magdi he have helpdd a lot since my arrival to Departure on different fronts. Food is great and the service is quite very special. Location is great as well and restaurants and cafes are around the place as well as exchange currency places. Highly recommended.

The hotel is old. The rooms are having bad smoking smell. No tissue box in the rooms.The AC temperature is hot the curtains are not fully blocking out the sun.The staff are not professional they need to have more trainingThe breakfast is not variable having tables and cultry are not clean..Staff are not friendly not polite uniforms are not tidy or clean.. they are noisey shouting and speaking very loud together.. food finishes so fast they dont refill..Wont come back here definitely.

Honestly this was one of my worst experiences. You think you pay an expensive price to go to a high end resort yet you end up paying for every little thing. They even make you pay to use the Jacuzzi how crazy is that never experienced this before. The meals are very expensive you pretty much have to have an extra budget just for stupid things that will be included in any other resort. Go to a cheaper resort and you will get the same services. Definitely not worth it.

Staff is lovely.We arrived very late and the manager was very welcoming and caring.Hotel is pretty, rooms are nice.Would recommend the staffs hospitality.They really took great care of us.

Good hotel with nice and cooperative staff. Rooms are tidy. Room service is quick. All you need in good hotel is there. Swimming pool was closed due to cold weather otherwise all services were operational. I was impressed with quick elevators. There are 3 of it but well maintained. We also did a seminar for 100 plus people and it was tremendous. Hall is very spacious with proper temperature control.Besides the internal facilites, the location of hotel is also very good. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Jordan.
