went here last week. i was vibing but it was suba empty and cold
Didnt hate this place, its now closed, the proprietors retired. Always lovely when open.
Eww this was so bad the parmo looked like a duck badbadbabdabd
Not as good as it use to be sorry
Im really gutted Im writing this post as I really like to support local businesss. Kelz used to be lovely, its been a few year since my last visit. We went for Sunday lunch. As we walked in we where greated by a really poor 90style decor and terrible atmosphere and uncanny rock music playing. I ordered a cottage pie. It arrived. Honestly i cannot describe how it looked.. Iv had a better airplane meal.. It truly was awful. NO PRIDE WHAT SO EVER. If there is no pride in food you shouldnt serve food. My main concern the next day I have got terrible food poisoning from that microwaved heated food. Parts where cold parts, parts warm and the middle was piping hot. I would never leave a statement like this but iv been to the Drs in agony and cannot leave the toilet. I swear I will never eat here again.
Friendly service and excellent food and very good prices
Coffee roasters who also serve coffee you can drink at benches outside.

Brilliant new parmesan menu
Gorgeous Sunday dinner well worth it
Friendly and helpful staff. Food was absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Tables outside if wanted. Only problem I think is that it isnt wheelchair friendly.
Lovely home cooked meals from Sunday roasts to Parmos.
Good food
Nice food, plenty of choices, competitive prices and pleasant staff and surroundings.
Love this place for the food. Its a bit dated decoration wise but well priced.
Best Patmos in Boro!Great value!Staff are lovely!Lived in Linthorpe for about 10 years before I even tried this place now I’m there more regularly than the staff 😂
Staff very friendly and great with kids
Have been here many years ago, pleasantly surprised at how well it is still doing. Had a good range of meals at a affordable price, also offered a takeaway service. It was quiet when we were there but it was only 5.30pm
Decor could do with a update. Worn & tired looking furniture. Food was ok!
excellent food and staff very friendly
Absolutely beautiful parmo and chips to die for will be back.
Beautiful as always. My 10yr old boy asked to go for his birthday family dinner all five of us really enjoyed our meals.
Went here tonight 2 adults and a child staff were great very friendly relaxed atmosphere. Food was tasty came out nice and hot presented well good portion sizes... only reason I didnt give 5 stars was that my first choice of scampi (surf and turfthey had ran out of. Will go again
Nice place, lovely food and great service
Go here and get a really good meal. Lots of choice and good pricing. The food is well cooked well presented and the staff are great friendly polite staff . When i come up home we go in there knowing your getting a great meal. Well recommended go you will not be disappointed
Great place to visit day or night. Bit difficult to find which makes you feel like your in an exclusive club.
Very good lunchtime value; quick service and tasty food.
2 for £9 parmos. Huge servings and good service.
Always loved this hidden gem in Middlesbrough. Never a let down and great Staff. Couldnt ask for more in a place.
Lovely lil place. Good food.
Amazing food. Very tasty. Brilliant prices. The best parmo in Teesside without a doubt
Parmo and chips were amazing
Portions were massive, but picture this, beef stir fry, key ingredient penne pasta? Served with Hovis sliced bread? Apparently so. Partner had the risotto, pretty sure it was an uncle Bens special. This place has chefs. The cheek. More like microwave engineers. Again cheap, big portions, but not what you see on the menu. We thought we were being punked. Middlesbrough embodied, pure disappointment. Grudgingly paid for this and created a sizeable stool with the contents the chef spewed forth from the pit they referred to as a kitchen. About the most useful thing we got from Kelz, plenty. If you want post-war school dinners the queue up at Kelz.
Sunday lunch is lovely and they cater for gluten free which is a bonus
So happy with our visit to kelz Middlesbrough, food was absolutely beautiful, our waiter Matthew Binns couldnt have been more than helpful hes a treasure to the team that work here, he sorted food out for our milk, egg and nut free child straight away and the meals that came out were absolutely gorgeous and our sons meal was amazing he loved it .. will definitely return
absolutely did us proud for my 60th. Thank you so much.
