Busy year-round market boasting a range of farm-fresh produce, locally made fare & artisanal goods.
Always a pleasant experience. Many local vendors with a wonderful variety of items ranging from fresh produce to handcrafted goods.
Lots of variety and vendors. Pretty full and amazing weather for mid October.
On my first visit to Kelowna, we went to the market on Saturday and it was lovely to see all the artisans and to have that local flavour front and centre. People were friendly and because it was a beautiful sunny autumn day the market was buzzing and felt friendly and happy!
Great spot to find local products, but arrive early as they close by roughly 1PM.
Came here to check it out, but seems like the typical overpriced market with similar goods between most stalls. The most unique stall I found was Annas Ukrainian food. Besides that, its just people with a bunch of overpriced lackluster goods.
Very nice market place. Friendly vendors, nice people all around. The only downside is that they dont allow dogs even though its a open-air market, but there are lots of dogs all over the place.
Nice selection of local produce and locally produced jams and juice. Some organic frozen meats as well.
Excellent variety of vendors! So much creativity and art to explore along with many food and drink stands. Got a lovely henna tattoo there from a henna artist who was stationed at the front gate of the market. Also, found these beautiful solar light jars (see photowhich are handmade by a vendor also near the front. However, a thing to note is that dogs are not allowed inside if you were planning on bringing your dog.
There was a Nepali Hibachi Chef serving amazing dumplings with his own home made sauce. He was steaming them out of his food truck, does anyone know the company info?
Amazing local artistry in wood, ceramics, specialty foods, and garden fresh vegetables. Dont miss the fresh foraged wild mushrooms and artisan roasted coffees to add a little something special to your day. Remember to bring your bags and fill them up!
Came here on Wednesday and Saturday near the end of August. The Saturday one definitely has the most vendors. Even went to the small one on Sunday at the waterfront.Parking is challenging if youre coming from the South side of Kelowna. The first time we went was on Wednesday and we parked at the mall across the street. The second time on Saturday we found the dirt parking lot beside the market that you can get in from the North side. There was a good selection of vendors from alchohol, soda, honey, fruit and vegetables, crafts, food trucks and everything in between. It was a great way to spend an hour or so wandering down the aisles taking a look at all the offerings. It can get quite crowded on Saturdays so watch out for that.
What a great farmers market! There were a lot of great fruit and veggies but there were also great craft vendors. So many great coffee and snack options too.
Small market with locally produced stuff. Rather pricey but the produce was fresh. There was a chap selling Ukrainian print linen and aprons. I bought 6 pieces of floral print linen from him for 40 bucks. Not bad.
Open Saturdays from 8am to 2pm, this is a must every time we visit Kelowna. Great local vendors, not aggressive at all. Some really cool things for the whole family to enjoy.
Beautiful market, but its a shame that they allow these kind of stand. One should not play with animals and asking for money in return. ANIMALS ARE NOT TOYS, GO TO TOYS R US.
The new parking lot at Orchard Park has made the farmers market much more accessible. Im looking forward to the new mall entrance opening so we can make a real morning of shopping the market and mall together
Great variety of quality products. Laid out well. Busy but not crowded. Would go again.
The Farmers market was busy but full of wonderful things to look at and buy. You have to be early to purchase fresh produce. Food vendors were plenty and delicious!
Ordered ham, egg, cheese crepes at crepe food vendor. Raw egg in the middle and no replacement offered or refund. Got my money this time. Never again
Great spot to check out. There are some actual produce places, but expect mostly lunch wagons, coffee carts, drinks and craft/art/clothing sellers.
Farmers markets are always fun to walk around and find cool, local things. It was super hot on the day I went so had to stay in the shade and cut our time short. I was surprised to see the cost of local products. I really want to support local but the prices make it difficult for so many. Its a great way to spend an hour or two for sure.
The market is great everything is fresh very exciting,The only negative issue is the parking lot must be fixed properly so damage does not occur to the visitors vehicles and to the human body which travels in those vehicles this parking lot is preposterous
Amazing products and produce, and extremely friendly place. Many portable bathrooms are available for patrons, with some restrictions towards accessing those and a bit of off-reading to get into the market itself.Regulars at the market know where to find the stalls they are looking for, and newcomers with their eyes peeled notice the information area right near the main entrance.Highlights of my trip: holding sleepy chicks, getting cookies without gluten/dairy/eggs/nuts, and everything local (art, clothes, and fruit). What I would do differently next time: pack a water bottle.
Neat farmers market! Lots of varieties of booths. Ranging from fresh produce to jewelry to distillerys to food trucks for food! Busy during the entire time.
Its a nice concept but did not really get a community vibe from it. The vendors seemed very generic and nothing to rave about. Also the fruit vendors were not well priced, albeit the weather is probably not making their yields all that strong (quality and size)
Truly a must to attend. Anytime of your local produce arts and crafts and wonderful people. As this season gets heated up there are more and more people. Music playing and just an all-around good outing. I always get my groceries there And usually a fresh bouquet of flowers
The parking is only accessible from the main street - wasn’t labeled super clearly so we were driving around trying to find a way in for a little bit haha. The parking is free and the farmers market is nice. Large selection of jewelry, clothing, food, and fresh produce!
Crazy fun place with a little bit of everything. The Ballon animals were a huge hit and the spiced iced coffee helped us keep up with the kids
It was my first time visiting the Farmers market. I had heard lots about it but never managed to get there. The produce looked fresh and clean. There was lots of different vendors and all were friendly and inviting.
Ive only been once, today, and although there were some great vendors, there wasnt enough, and I found prices to be pretty high overall, particularly for produce, common for a farmers market these days.
Great value, wide range of products. Berries and vegetables, beverages, cider, Honey, pottery, merino wool clothes, socks. Fast-food as well.
Enjoy farmers market, and this one is no difference, there were several vegan options , this is a larger market, and you will enjoy your walk , to look for crafts, food, and to support local businesses
The TNT food truck has an amazing breakfast sandwich. The breakfast was great and very tasty and very fast. Amazing service and very friendly
Great spot to spend your Saturday. A lot of great quality vendors and a great atmosphere. Go alone, with friends and with family. You will not be dissapointed.
Incredible selection of snap fresh produce. Don’t toss the carrot greens! Chop the leafy parts up and use as you would flat leaf parsley. It’s an incredibly fresh carroty flavour, and I’ve never seen fresher than at this market.
Lovely small marker place with a diff type of products, mixed with food and arts. Visited early in the morning, so wasnt crowded.
Too many crafters, not enough farmers! You still have to drive around to get the best produce in town. Still, its a nice way to spend a morning outside, and a great way to support local businesses (go gift shopping here when you have an upcoming birthday)!
Impressed by the variety of vendors on hand. I could have easily bought the majority of what I need for my weekly produce needs from local providers. Prices were slightly higher but the quality of the products quickly made up the difference.
Great variety of vendors, food trucks, and awesome people.Square didnt work when I was there so be prepared with back up cash so you can get all your goodies.
We were told about the Kelowna farmers market so we had to come check it out. The 3 hour drive was brutal though, as we arrived when they were about to close. I wish they were open until at least 1 or 2!The vendors were all very friendly! All the products they sold seemed very organic and the fruit of their hard labor. We didnt get a chance to get anything to eat since everyone was packing up. We did get to see a few jewelry places and get some honey. If youre coming, go really early. They open at 8, so we couldnt have got there since we would have driven at 5am.
If you like food and have money to blow, this is the place for you. Vendors sell everything from pretzels to samosas to mini donuts to kettle corn and everything is tasty. There is also a wide selection of fresh produce available whenever it is in season. Although you could probably find all these things 15-30% cheaper elsewhere, the convenience of it all being in once place, and the ambiance, can’t be beat.
Many different vendors! I love the sourdough bread from the Yellow busKeep in mind that dogs are not allowed.
Large market with crafts and food, including fresh fruit & vegetables, flowers, food to take away or eat on site, drinks. Several local vendors of vegan products, including perogies by Flavors Kitchen (sold frozen; I chose Vegan Xmas Dinner ones - excellent!); Gaia Delights crackers, nori strips (great!), kale chips, truffles; grain salad mixes & dressings by Umami; fruity sodas by Farming Karma; freshly made falafel balls; frozen Indian meals by Meenu Indian Cuisine; dressings by Mama Hogg’s; treats by Big Fat Lion Bakeshop. The Wednesday market is a bit smaller than Saturday’s.
The billboard said it opens on Wed and Sat from 8 am to 1 pm but I have only been here on Sat. It is so much fun! And you can support local businesses so why not? There were quite a lot of people coming last Saturday around 11pm so we literally spent 15 minutes trying to find a parking spot at Orchard parking lot.My friend got some local products for her mom. I recommended her coconut lime candles, a very cute bracelet, and delicious apple chips. She also got to pet chick at the chick petting station! Masks are recommended here but not mandatory. Totally will come back here again.
I’m so glad I came. It’s a cute market with a variety of food, jewelry and other Knick knacks. It’s three aisles and some vendors on the side. It was busy and everyone was so nice. Try the Spud Sticks, $5 each, they are good and we also tried a meat pie 🥧, that was reallly good
My husband & I LOVE the Kelowna Farmers & Crafters Market. Fresh fare, baked breads and so much more. The vendors are very friendly and its always a great experience. Shop Local...Support Local...
We went to see this market and it was loaded of artisans, food, crafts and fresh vegetables. Parking is by donation and still alot of space when we arrived there at 10:30ish. Well recommended by the locals. It was fun to check out the stalls.Location: GoodFood: 8/10Ambiance and Cleanliness: 7/10Cost: 8/10Parking Accesibility: 7/10Customer/ Vendor Service: 8/10
Open air farmers market in the summer and the fall. Lots of local veggies and fruits available. Friendly vendors. Reasonably priced. Free parking across the street. Clean and organized.
One of the better farmers markets I’ve been to! So many options for vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers alike. So so many vege plants and seed - and lots of them organic! Which is nice to see. I can only imagine how much better it is in the summer when veggies and fruits are abundant! Also many artisans selling things such as jewelry, clothing, wooden decorations, toys.. etc. Definitely worth checking out, I wish it was Saturday AND Sunday!
This is great open market. It is always very busy and there is a great selection of local food, crafts and even wine and liquor. If you are in Kelowna on a Wednesday or Saturday it is a must see.
