Excellent Museum to learn about the protection of turtles in the Indian ocean

Just Ok, very few turtles. Would advise to go to the Jardin des tortues instead.

Parking is a nightmare. We were there on a Tuesday, out of season and had to wait for one to become available. Having said that, what the people of Kelonia do for the turtles, is awesome. Take some time to go sit and watch a few of their videos, they come with English subtitles. The wall is also awesome with all manner of fish life and turtles getting in your face! With an English brochure and translations at some of the exhibitions we were able to get the gist of things. Very informative. Disabled friendly. One not to miss.

Really nice nice Museum

Nice aquarium with a nursery for injured turtles. The aquariums are huge and the kids can see it from above and under the see. The English explanations are rare, mostly in French.

We came here on a Saturday, which means it was quite full and parking was quite full. Nevertheless, we spent 8 Euro per person for the tickets and were given an English flyer with some info and a map. The signs inside were partially also in English, some only in French.It is great to learn about the rescue efforts and we were happy that our tickets and merch sales contributed to them. Highly recommended to make a quick 60-90min stop here.

Very inspiring and colorful program, suitable for almost every kind of groups or individuals. Some of the information inside is only available in French though.

Another place that we visit everytime we came. I did not enjoy the visit this time. The tank was blur, felt it was cleaned for a while and despite Covid restrictions, it felt very crowded and uncomfortable

This place is a place you cannot miss when you visit the island. Not only you discover the turtles’ life but also you understand how the humans as change their habitat and put in danger their life. Important to visit with the kids!!

It is a beautiful mission that they intend to achieve by saving these beautiful creatures. They propose awareness games for children and adults against the plastic waste that hurts turtles so much.

Smaller than expected. Even the receptionist did speak english, there are not really signs and explanations in English. Pitty. It was interesting to see those big turtles, though. Nice place, all in all.

Great visit. Very informative. Recommend getting an audio guide or use the guided tour instead to get the best from the day.

Definitely one of my favourite places in Réunion. Its not just an aquarium, its far more like a sanctuary. It was incredibly informative and interesting to learn about turtles and their life cycles and difficulties. It is wonderful to see so much emphasis on the conservation of such beautiful creatures and how well they are looked after at Kélonia. I cant wait to go back.

Great place to observe turtles. Some of them are really big guys :-Exposition is cool, there are pools open to the air and you can go underground and observe them via glass walls. It isn’t that big you will spend a day there but one hour for sure. Free parking place at the front of the building.

Very nice time spent at Kelonia ! It took us around 2 hours if you want to take your time to observe the turtles. It is like a sanctuary where they take care of turtles. We learnt a lot on the different species, it is very interesting and interactive. We definitely recommend if you have the time to go !

Our Visit at kelonia was an awesome experience. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions with entusiasm. The audioguide (available in various languageswas well translated and quite informative. The aquarium was quite clean, the animals beautiful and they seemed relaxed. The exhibition was well done and definetly worth a visit.

This place is awesome. There are so many cute turtles and they are taken care of so well. I loved that there were so many different types and how well you could see them, without disturbing them! But its really too bad that all the information is only in French.

Giant aquarium and live turtles are great. Museum is useless for people who dont speak french. All labels are in french only.

Turtle conservatory where injured turtles are rehabilitated. Wonderful place to fall in love with these graceful creatures. Only drawback is that all explanatory boards are in French. I wish they had guided tours of the place in English

Worth a visit if youre around the area and are interested in turtles and tortoises. €7 to get in.

The facilities are nice but the guide we interacted with was not nice. Despite indicating to him that we had joined the tour, he would not turn to us so we could hear him. When we asked for him to repeat something, he made a nasty remark and this really turned us off to the place.

Nice nature (turtlemuseum, take the audio guide, almost all inside is in French. Very helpful staff.
