Kelimutu Lake in Ende

Leichter Aufstieg zu den drei Kraterseen und auch nachmittags sehr schön!Zur Zeit haben die Zwillingsseen die gleiche Farbe. Die Wasseroberfläche ist bestimmt 70m vom Kraterrand entfernt, hier möchte man nicht reinfallen.

One of the best sunrise ever. You have to stay at the top at 5h30 but it worth it.

Danau Kelimutu terdiri dari tiga danau yang berwarna, berada dipuncak Gunung Kelimutu, Flores, Ende.Perjalanan dari kota Ende menuju lokasi tempat wisata kurang lebih dua jam perjalanan.

Salah satu ikon flores yang wajib dikunjungi, danau dengan 3 warna yang benar2 mewakili keindahan, merah, biru muda, hitam. Saat kami berkunjung, danau warna merah sudah berubah menjadi warna biru tua.

Easy tracking. It was magical at early morning visit. Plan to see sunrise but failed maybe next visit. The weather was not that nice, start to rain so it was good to go early in the morning. After hiking, you can ask seller to make you a bowl of instant noodle and a cup of ginger tea❤️💃. Dont forget to buy traditional weaving as souvenirs for loved ones.

The lake colors are indeed an amazing phenomenon. The shades of green are stunning and real, no tourist attracting photoshop tricks. However, the site is over developed with lots of concrete that spoils the natural setting without making it any easier to walk.

Kelimutu was amazing Place in Flores !!! It takes 3 hours to this beautiful place from Maumere - Sikka, or 1.5 hours from Ende.Come to this place in weekdays, to avoid from many tourist who will come and enjoy this beautiful place. Bring your best camera to capture three colored lake !

The entrance fee is quite high but the view is magic!

The place was stunning. You have to hike at 4 or 5 am to witness one of the best sunrise. You also can see 3 lakes at the top with 3 different color.

Easy walk up from the parking, great view of the lakes and surroundings. We were at the summit at around 4PM and loved it to have the whole place to ourselves.

Awesome easy access. You dont have to be an experienced trekker. The stairs are great. The drive up is nice, the carpark is great. We went at sunrise. Well worth the effort. Take a jacket to stay warm whilst waiting for the sunrise.

I’ve been to Mt. Bromo and Batur, and I can safely say this is the least amount of work for a spectacular view. The paths are wide and well maintained, and easily conquered in 15 minutes.

Wonderful place

This is a very famous lake in Indonesia, the picture of Rp.5.000 published on 1992. I came here in February, the air is not so cold and sunny in the morning. People say when the weather is bad, the fog will drop untill you cant see the lake at all. If you came here be sure that u come in the good weather. Start walking in the early hours of the day so that you arrive at the peak at sunrise, the scenery is very cool. And the air extremely fresh in the morning. Theres toilet available and very clean. You can see monkeys along the street.

Nice walking there. Road to enter Is under reconstruction. Entrance for foreiners is big against local. 225000 x 7500.

Come to here before sun rises and you will find beautiful scenery of the morning glory. Three colour lake on one volcano is one of the iconic destination in Ende and East Nusa Tenggara. You can reach in here just about 2 hour from Ende. Dont forget the flores coffee offered to you with only cheap price.

There are better mountains, better lakes and better views for free. You pay 135000 rupiah for entrance, but for me it was worth it!
