Classic pub scattered with original features such as mahogany doors and wood partitioned snug areas.
Kehoes Pub in Dublin
Description
Best pint in the city. I lived in Dubbers for a few years back in 2007, and returned a few times as a tourist. You will not find a better pint of Guinness anywhere else. Not even in the Storehouse itself. Get a pint, a snug and a bag of Manhattan peanuts. Thank me later.
MoreOne of my favourite pubs in all DublinExcellent pintsSuperb serviceAlways a great atmosphere
MoreGreat pint of Guinness, friendly atmosphere.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent location. Great selection of beers and whiskeys. Sure what more can you ask for.
MoreKehoes can get very packed but for good reason! Great atmosphere in here and swift service. Love the small snug areas
MorePopped in for a lunchtime pint with a colleague and were refused service as we were in Workwear by an abrasive bar man/boy.The traditional Dublin pub is dead and gone.Tourist trap for people sitting on a pint for an hour, nothing more.Went to ONeills on Suffolk St. instead who were happy welcome us for 2 drinks.AVOID.
MoreIt is like the TARDIS and seems bigger in the inside that you would think. The decor is old but that is part of the charm. The atmosphere was good spoiled a little by a group who each wanted to talk louder than the others which was not needed. Worth a drink if you are in the area.
MoreThis lovely pub right in the heart of Dublin made an impression the first time we drank there during our honeymoon. On our recent visit with my Mum, we went there again, and its still exactly the same - simply lovable!
MoreThe best bar in Dublin. Ive been there several times over the years. The social side is good, clientele too. The staff are helpful and friendly. Plus the Guinness is really good. What more do you need ?
MoreLovely old pub lots of nucks & crannies to sit in & enjoy a drink definitely recommend 👍
MoreTerrific little place with fun atmosphere, inside and out, and very reasonable drink prices. Friendly staff and delicious beer.
MoreA wonderful pub. Full of history. Love the decor and the creaking uneven floor boards which adds to the ambiance. The staff also were very pleasant.
MoreGreat stop! Crowded after work hours but great place to chat with locals and visitors. Pint if Guinness is a must-have.
MoreNice old-fashioned Dublin pub in a great location. But, not a place for a quiet pint. Too many punters coming and going all day.
MoreCool as always. Not a great selection of Beers that are not Macro, but thats not why we go to Keoghs. Great Snug. Great Bar. But maybe get a decent German Lager on tap?
MoreLoved it. Great atmosphere even on Tuesday afternoon with a mixture of locals and tourists. Friendly bar staff and of course a great pint of Guinness. Lots of little booths to sit in and relax after getting away from busy Grafton Street crowds.
MoreGreat Guiness, generally nice staff.Main barman upstairs is a rude horrible individual (youll know who it is)
MoreGreat fun bartenders, trad Irish pub, my pint was delicious.
Lovely pub in the heart of Dublin. Service and pours were top-notch.
Great traditional pub. A lot of folks.
Better pints in McDaids, less expensive too!Bearded bartender forgot my order and claimed I hadn’t ordered from him despite me asking for two pints of Guinness 5 minutes beforehand. Very strange! He was jumping over the bar too, acting like a bit of a madman if I am being honest. When I reminded him that I had ordered from him before he jumped over the bar he insisted I hadn’t in an aggressive manner.Slightly perplexed I asked again for the same two pints and he advised me to go somewhere else as he wouldn’t be serving me....and that’s exactly what I did.McDaids is a great pub with adults behind the bar serving you.
MoreCool place, gives the authentic pub experience
Dont like Temple Bar Seen. Well this place is for you. Old school, Conversation is a must. Its somewhere to get lost in while waiting for someone or going somewhere. It’s an older crowd I.e. over 30ish.Ps Dont listen to the local, listen to the guys and girls that are travelling. Keep Smiling
MoreI have a love/hate relationship with this place! Real old mans pub but great atmosphere and staff. Love upstairs or if the weathers good take your pint out on the street. Just not a fan of the toilets!
MoreI love going back to Keohoes over and over again. The atmosphere is always on point and the pints are always great.
MoreFirst time back in years. Hasnt changed a bit. Still a great pint. At €5.90 not rip off prices here either.
MoreGreat traditional pub. Amazing service. Didnt take long to get a few beers even when it was rammed.
MoreAmazing pint of the black stuff. A very popular pub and can be extremely busy.
Loved this pub. Best Guinness I’ve had and was even though we didn’t get a seat there was a great vibe drinking out on the pavement
MoreCant go wrong with a Dublin staple. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Outdoor space fills up quick.
MorePint of Guinness, great stuff!. Very nice and cool. I will come back very soon. Yummy 😋
MoreThere were 4 of us in a snug. Had a great time. No disturbances. Lovely pub, will go back.
MoreGreat pub with a great atmosphere. On a dry Friday night youll be standing out on the street having a chat and a bit of craic. On the wet nights its standing room only and youd better be early to get a spot to stand
MoreGood pints with great atmosphere indoors and out.
Fantastic Pint of Guinness! Well worth a visit.
Ive been to several pubs around the city. Coldest pint by far. Clean and historic and very nice bartenders, good location. Worth popping in for sure!
MoreBest pint of Guinness in Dublin. The bar staff are so nice. Highly recommend. Lovely to stand outside on a warm day.
MoreAbsolutely love this little Irish pub! The staff is amazing and it is so much fun just hanging out. People are dancing in the streets on the weekends. When you’re in Dublin, you gotta stop here for a pint!
MoreWell its hard to write a review about a legendary pub like Kehoes, I mean what can you say that hasnt been said? Maybe just the laid back atmosphere? Yes its Friday afternoon but sitting in Kehoes you could be sitting in your front room. In good company Kehoes is a place that makes good conversations great.
MoreOne of the best pints of guinness I’ve had. After 2 and a half years of being away in the US with moderate Guinness this was a delight. Proper old school pub. Loved everything about it. These types of pubs are exactly what Ireland needs to hold on too.
MoreGreat traditional boozer, no food, no TVs. Just good Guinness and excellent atmosphere. Was recommended by others to go…I would recommend trying for yourselves. You will not be disappointed
MoreStraight up Dublin pub, great pints good service. Don’t be asking for micro brewery bottled beer here, a Guinness for sure. Still a solid simple Dublin bar, sit outside on a reasonable day or more likely in the snug on a wet one.
MoreGreat pub any time of day or night..top class Guinness
Excellent old style Dublin pub with one of the best pints of Guinness in the city. I visited on a Monday evening and it was very busy. Also a very extensive range of spirits and other beers and ciders. Would highly recommend this bar for a visit.
MoreA perfectly dressed man was asked to leave yesterday. He was told, rather abruptly, that he wasnt dressed smartly enough.Attrocious behaviour by the bar staff.Would not recommend this establishment.
MoreLovely Guinness, iconic spot. Enjoyable experience. Only downside: €5.70 for a Guinness which is outrageous. Rustic toilets. Would go again. 4 stars
MoreProbably one of the best pints in town. Tight squeeze at the bar, but the best place to start up an impromptu conversation with a friend you have yet to meet. Great staff, talk about attentive bar staff, they will spot you 5 deep at the bar and get the pints ready for you. Brilliant spot.
MoreMy favourite Guinness in Dublin. Always top quality and fresh. Oddly 90% of my time spent "at Kehoes" has been outside on the street! Can be slow to get a pint at times but understandable due to how busy it is. 5 stars
MoreMy husband, mother and I flew into Dublin and meandered down Grafton street. This is where we had our first pint of Guinness. My mother tried to order a Peroni and the bartender and patrons gave her a hard time lol. Dave, the bartender was fabulous!! He was funny and very nice. We tried to go back and see him our last day in Dublin, but arrived after his shift. Thanks Dave!!
MoreLove this pub - on a sunny afternoon you will be hard pressed to find a better pint. As the sun goes down between the buildings on Annes Lane a well spirited bunch of people enjoy the craic. Inside it is a great time capsule, not much has changed in generations.
