Ke Palle - Deli in Palermo, Italy
Ke Palle in Palermo
Description
So delicious! You can choose from many different kind of flavours, also vegetarian and sweet ones. We tried it with mince meat, with ham and cheese and with aubergine. Loved all of them.
MoreGood and tasty arancini, but to be honest nothing special.
The ham and cheese is really the only one we liked. Mushrooms one is pastey. Nutella and rice are not my favorite combo.
MoreA great takeaway option for all different types of arancini
Tasted the arancina al ragù from Ke palle, it was huge and tasty looking. It was well garnished and tasting it flavors were intense but unfortunately not well balanced. As well the arancina was great greasy, so much Soni could not finish it and hours later my stomach was still coming about the greasiness.
MoreThe best arancini I have ever tried. My favourite is Salsiccia e Friarielli. Disappointed by the nutella one as it doesnt match with rice well.
MoreLotta reviews and stars. Highly overrated in my opinion. My arancini ball was the “Traditional” classic one and was filled with spaghetti-O’s. Wasn’t impressed.
MoreGreat street food! Its your best option when you are looking for something fast and tasty. The minced meat arancini are out of this world!
MoreBasically good arancini, though the filling is a little spicier than other purveyors of this regional dish. Some say it has the best of its kind, but I think Ive had better in Palermo. The service was friendly and the food was good to take away. I can recommend a visit.
MoreReally good. Selling arancina with a large assortment of different fillings. Also had vegetarian/ vegan options available. We ordered arancinas ( pistachio and squid ink salmon. Well filled , not only rice.Friendly and quick service. Some tables in front of the store. No indoor seating. We tried as well “birra Messina”. Turned out well matching with the arancinas.Try it out , i’d say .
MoreDelicious variety of ariancini to suit all diets such as pescatarians, vegetarian, vegans and even the meat lovers! Centrally located, fast moving line. They package things to go if you need it and there are stickers on the bottom telling you type of flavor so you dont need to guess whats what.
MoreDon’t be discouraged by the fact it’s on a Main Street. It’s delicious and better than some of the arancine we had in less busy/touristy areas. Get the spinach one, it’s the best! Highly recommend
MoreIt’s difficult to choose your arancini because the variety is great and they all seem delicious. I had the gambas one and it didn’t disappoint! 3,50€ each one.
MoreThis is the best arancini I have ever had and I lived in Sicily for over 3 years. BBQ Pork may be against Italian religion but OMG!Thanks to HEX we have retired early and get to experience things like this.
MoreLots of choices.Pistacchio and gamberi is veri tasty and good I loved it !
Gourmet arancini at reasonable prices, recommended!
If there were no tourists in Palermo, this place would probably not exist. How can you not make a decent sandwich with panelle and crocchè in Palermo?? Arancine were also below average.
MoreI love that they sort between vegan, vegetarian, fish and meat arancini. I recommend the vegan ragout arancino! Very tasty!
MoreGreat place, nice and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
The best arancine I have ever tried 😍A lot of different tastes, so much feeling inside. My fav is definitely arancino alla Norma ❤
MoreKe Palle is a guarantee of quality and variety of arancine. Fairly priced and never disappointing. Ideal street food to eat in the go or for just a take away. A must for everyone.
MoreThe first time I walked in, I just asked what arancino was the favourite choice of the guy behind the bar as I never had one. I took his recommendation -something one can only do if you have no food allergies or if you speak decent Italian to make your allergies/intolerances known- and was sold after the first bite. I had many more arancini afterwards in Sicily but returned to KePalle many times because they were by far the most tasty ones. Very flavourful, with very buttery risotto and a very crunchy crust. Just perfect. The ingredients for the stuffing are used generously especially for the price they ask for their product. When later recommended to friends of mine who were visiting Palermo several weeks later, they were also sold about this place. So full stars for KePalle.
MoreVery service minded, we ordered 4 different and they just sat all of them on the same plate - we looked confused and the waiter just went - look here and on the button of the wrap the type was with a sticker - so simple. Taste is very special - the normal and BBQ was my favourites
MoreGreat arancini, got the mushroom and the bbq, they were both great but the bbq was awesome. 3€ each.
MoreBest arancina I have tried in Sicily! Crunchy, fresh, huge selection of fillings.
MoreVery delicious arancini (approx. 3 EUR a piece). There is quite huge variety. Kind and friendly staff. Thank you..
Moreall tasty but very satisfying - heavy meal
The best arancini we have ever had! We came here every day during our stay and we loved it! Also the staff is very nice!
MoreStaff was badly organised and couldnt deal well with the lunch rush hour. Food was less than average, including aranchini or panelle e crocche. Everything was cold and lacked the crunch you would expect from a deep fried food. Very disappointed.
MoreAbsolute amazing! So so tasty! We had various different flavours over a few days and they were all great!
Morecould be a bit warmer but the filling of smoked mozz and some spinachy thing was really good.
MoreVery underwhelming. A lot of different flavors but not the best taste. Good enough if you dont know arancinis...
MoreGreat tasting Arancini and super friendly service.Read more: bittermansguide.com
We bought 4 arancini. Chicken curry, mushrooms, ham and vegetables. Alot of turmeric in the rice not saffron but still delicious.
MoreFresh arrancini, you can also choose sweet one (nutella etc.)I recommend spinach one and the mushroom one as well as the classic “ragu”
MoreAll types of arancini, all tasty.Few seats available outside.Crowded
Delicious arancine with several varieties including the classic (meat ragu, peasand others like spicy salami with mozzarella, prosciutto and mozzarella, chicken and curry. Lots of choices. The woman serving is very nice and accommodating and actually remembered me from my first visit the day prior.
MoreGreat arancine, meat and spiced salami were super but the pistacchio one lacked a bit in flavour compared to others tried in Sicily, hence the 4 stars.
MoreGreat innovative Arrancini. We are vegetarian and non-veggies ones. was awesome. would love to be back and try new recipes. no wonder it is always full
MoreLarge choice of Arancini but too many clients at the same time. Hard to find the table to sit and enjoy your food.
MoreChances are you, reading this review, are looking for the best arancinas in Palermo: this is it, look no further. They are incredible.
MoreThis place on the side of a very touristy street in Palermo serves some of the very well known Sicilian food like arancina, cannol, panelle. Arancina is star of the show here. Here you will find different variations of the classic arancina. Like arancina with black rice. But personally I like the classic varieties of arancinas better i.e with spinach or ham. It is little pricey too for something which is considered a street and common peoples food. Overall this is a good place for tourists but if you want to taste the real deal I will suggest look someplace else.
MoreThe best arancini you can ask for.I loved their sword fish and dried mint one and the exceptionally fresh classical arancina alla ragú.Another two were good too.Very centrally located, takes 3 min from the Duomo. The stuff is good.Would love to come back.
MoreThe place has more than 10 different flavors of arancini. I tried the funghi, calamari and swordfish. All of them was very fresh and delicious. Prices are 2,5 and 3,0 EUR and the size of each arancini is a good portion for one person. Sometimes there are long lines to eat, but service is fast and efficient.
MoreThis place has many variants of aranchini tastes, from “salami picante” to “nutela taste”. I’d definitely recommend you to try some of aranchini here. The price is usually about 3 euro. They have tables inside and outside the place. It is located on the walking area.
MoreKe Palle is no messing around, they sure know what they’re doing. Their arancine is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Crispy all the way on the outside, the rice has great consistency, the filling is generous and mega flavour!
MoreThis is probably a must do in Sicilia if you want to try Arancinas. We tried the classic one (with beef ragu), the pulled pork BBQ, the salmone and the Al Burro (with ham and cream). All these flavours were excellent, very tasty and the crisp is very well made. It only cost 3€ or less each and there is a good variety of choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. I also tried their canollo and granite which were very good for a decent price.
MoreIf you are a backpacker and want to eat something cheaply, I really recommend you to go Ke Palle. Arancinis are vary and tastes all good! I think here is the best place among Arancini restaurants in Sicilia.
MoreI love arancini. This place does a modern twist on the traditional snack, which is great fun trying it all. My impression it is a bit of the luck of the draw. I enjoyed my pork ragu arancini but my friend wasnt impressed with his pastry coated arancini.I would suggest trying a traditional arancini at a local cafe. They are the best.I noticed most reviewers of this place are not local. That says something.
MoreDelicious arancini!! The prices are reasonable and youll be able to choose from several really amazing flavors. Its always a busy place so dont forget to take a number from outside.
