Dinner in Kazerne was delicious. Aubergine 🍆 was the best!

Amazing food, great service and an interesting gallery to view. Definitely recommend visiting Kazerne.

Had a lovely experience. The vitello tonato could have a little less fishy taste in my opinion, but presentation was great. Had the steak and the flavour was really good, but unfortunately the meat was a little chewy. Super cool that you can visit a small exhibition after dinner in the same location. Will definitely go again when theres a new exhibition.

All is but amazing

Awful experience but, it is something frequent in the Netherlands. They offer to make a custom dairy free salad and bring me a salad with peccorino flakes... I am not vegan just cannot eat dairy product and my custom salad ended up being just eggplants with olives and capers.Is a really nice place and people is really nice but if you have allergies or need something custom made... based on my experience I may recommend trying some other place

The place is good to enjoy the artwork, the food is good, the staff is friendly.

An extraordinary place with an extraordinary kitchen staff. We had lunch in the courtyard, salads, bruchetta and grilled sardines. Good choice of wines. Delicious. And you forget youre in the city centre.

Delicious food. The chef menu was great. The bruschetta was nothing special. The restaurant is spacious and filled with interesting pieces.

What can I say, funky, artsy, contemporary, special. An amazing venue for any culinary occasion. I realy enjoyed the scallops (perfectly cooked with the most wonderful mushroom and wine jusand the veal was absolutely to die for. Chef Giovanni excelled himself this evening and I was delighted to thank him personally for a wonderful culinary experience, and also his kitchen team who were visibly working so hard to produce the finest dining experience for us this evening. Servers were very professional, knowledgeable, attentive without being a nuisance. In short, they were brilliant. Thank you all for a wonderful evening. I look forward to my next visit.

Fully recommended!I have been here several times. The menu changes continuously and they offer the food of the season, which is somehow a guarantee of quality.This time they exceeded my expectations with a delicious fish served at the table. Pictures dont reflect the superior taste and experience I got in my mouth.

Exquisite wine selection. We came late with my girlfriends and enjoyed a quiet conversation in this beautiful place.I will come here again to eat dinner since I’ve heard that is a whole experience on itself. I must repeat: LOVED the wine selection, even though it’s not a big one, it is quality vrs. quantity !Loved this place..

Had dinner at Benz, where they have a new chef. It was very good and tasty, also nice wines served with each plate.

It is an amazing fine dining experience with reasonable prices. It’s a good opportunity for people to come out of their comfort zones in terms of selection of pasta to try amazing new flavors. The portions are very adequate to experience the taste and to feel full. I would definitely recommend.

Interesting combination between a restaurant and an art exhibition. Great food, friendly staff and good food. Also accommodating for vegetarian. Moreover there group menu was fine and made not everybody had to go selecting their own dish and feel awkward if they would take the highest prices dish. Perfect for group dinners, like we did with the team I’m in at my company

Really awesome place to be.We had some pretty nices with a lot of Amsterdam enjoyment :)The so following special breakfast wishes where granted even at the not so usual time of the day.We enjoyed the Suite with 🛁 and the comfy queen-size bed.Also for our oversized traveling vehicle was parked for us.Also we do like to mention the really friendly team.

The food is ok, I would not say great.The location is nice -- courtesy of our tax dollars. The public utility of this cost vs. alternative uses of the property, is questionable imho.

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday. The food is very tasty, well priced, and made with love. The staff is helpful and kind. But the most amazing of all is the restaurant itself. The large room allows for a breathtaking effect, industrial design, and a small museum setting. See you again soon!

Nothing to fault about this restaurant except that they didnt have cocktails 😉 Its a spacious venue with a relaxed al fresco dining area. Prices are reasonable and the staff were refreshingly service oriented!

I had ordered a burger for me and my mom and they where so amazing delicious. Never had I come across a place that had this good of a burger. The staff was really nice and friendly. I recommend you to go there if you want to eat a good burger and have a good espresso.

If you like design this is a place for you, if you like Dutch Design then it will be a must visit/ stay. Annemoon and Koen have transformed with great passion and dedication the old fire Kazerne to a amazing place to stay in Eindhoven. Especially the larger rooms are beautiful designed.

We had some wine and appetizers and both were good. The place is huge and can host several events at the same time. The corner near the entrance is quite cozy tho. Th staff is friendly and quick. I will definitely be coming back.

This former police station has a very good atmosphere. The food is high quality and the menu offers diverse options. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and accompanying drinks.

I love the concept of a combined design gallery, event spaces, bar and restaurant. We felt very welcome when we attended an event there, drop by on Thursday evening for Innovation Café, its alwayss interesting!

Very inspiring and interesting café. Good for your every day beer and food, but even better when visiting Innovation events. Can highly recommend.

Great place for drinks and networking in the startup scene (weekly on thursdays). Regarding the food: good meals but small in size

The food was amazing as was the service from the young guy and blonde girl helping our table, however the man, who I thought was the head chef, on presenting our dessert, one of our party gave a comment and he just ignored us and walked away leaving us feeling embarrassed.

Excellent food and place. Enjoy the art exhibition in the same space. Fixed menu with 3/4 dishes including dessert. Modern cuisine with good selection of wines. Local famous chefs. Very relaxed elegant atmosphere.

Attend a work dinner there. Staff was friendly and very good. The food was ok, but not so good for those prices. We had to wait a lot between dishes.

I went there for companys Christmas dinner. Its a very contemporary place, filled with art work. The loaf style building makes it very spacious and somehow not noisy with a big crowd. The most impressive is actually the dinner they serve. Both appetizer (fresh filled pastaand main dish (sirloin steakare very well made. The steak was nice and juicy, and both courses are accompanied with plenty of delicious warm vegetables, which I often miss in regular restaurants. We had a walking desert/coffee to be able to chat with different colleagues. The desert was also very delicious (however cannot recall exactly what we had). Would definitely think about this place if we will have a big party in the future!

The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is trendy, but the food wasn’t good enough for my taste to return to the restaurant, certainly not for the price they’re asking. The presentation was fancy but the food itself lacked spice, in my opinion it tasted a bit dull. It seemed as if the experience the restaurant wanted to give you was focused on the act of chewing instead of tasting. My mouth felt different textures but they had no flavours to them.One of us returned their dessert, however the chef took it very well and made a new one, so a big compliment for that.Perhaps it’s the menu they have now that just didn’t do the trick for me (I believe it changes every couple of months, so it could be better another time of year), or maybe the cooks were still in training.

Complete space: Art gallery with really cool exhibitions, trendy bar, classy and original restaurant + quite back garden which a very pleasant place to have a drink when the heater is nice.

My favourite restaurant in town. And not only a place to stop by for food or drinks, they have excellent design exhibitions as well. Be sure to check out their design shop on your way out.

Great staff, fantastic food (and excellent price/quality/quantity ratio), and impressive interior. The art also provides a great added experience. Definitely recommended for anybody nearby (or even not so nearby 😊)!

Beautiful venue and good kitchen. Had a work related diner here. The interior is absolutely fantastic. Great expositions, in my case in January, various art installations exploring light and movement. All this while you dine. Waiters were very kind and open. The reason I did not rate 5 stars was because it took 40 minutes for our main coarse to arrive (table of 3). You might argument its because there were lot of guests but then its just a matter of increasing staff or kitchen capacity.

Interesting approach to eat inside an art gallery with open kitchen. Nice rebuild kazarma with industrial look and very good meal cooked in front of you.

as a former police academy, this is a wonderful refunctionalized inspiring and open design space with great food. i can definitely recommend it.

I keep returning to Kazerne in Eindhoven. I believe it is one of the most fascinating open design spaces youll find in Western Europe. The combination with a smashing restaurant with an open kitchen and a design lab next door makes this very special. Co-founders Annemoon Geurts and Koen Rijnbeek are pioneers - definitely worth the trip to explore.The menu changes every two weeks, only using fresh ingredients. Obviously based on Mediterranean recipes making the maximum use of vegetables. I personally like their Aubergine dish or the neck of Lamb. They also cater for allergies if you tell them. Fontina Ravioli and Risotto with mussels are two other dishes worth trying. Reasonably priced for the quality you get. Personally find the Montepulciano red to be a favorite.Entry to the exhibition space is always free. Currently, its the personal selection of Dutch designer Lidewij Edelkoort called Open Ended. Happened to be there on the day it opened. There appears to be a private dining space at the back for corporate events and presentations.I like the fact that this place is always full of pleasant surprises. And the service has a personal touch that is clearly authentic.I have no connection with the owners - just grown to be a fan as I see them going from good to great.
