Beautiful rooms and location. We saw the Ai Weiwei pieces. We loved it.

Flott kunsthall som viser verker av aktuelle samtidskunstere. Liten butikk med flotte bøker om foto og kunst, og snedige produkter som er lett å beta seg i. Nå stiller Ai Wei Wei med flere store verk. Flott at Kaviarfabrikken har fått kunsteren til å stille ut i lille Henningsvær.

Beautiful building and nice staff! Stumbled into a Ai Weiwei exhibition by accident. Nice surprise!

A great gallery that you wouldnt expect to find in a small town. The exhibition of Ai Wei Wei, a world class artist, with one of the works made especially for the gallery, was a wonderful and unexpected addition to our visit in the town. The owner offers interesting insight into the gallery. The staff very nice and friendly. Highly recommended!

You seem to confuse me with someone else. We were simply disappointed with the exhibition when visiting earlier.

Disfrutamos de una exposición preciosa. El espacio estaba muy bien acondicionado. La atención estupenda. Desde arriba hay unas vistas muy relajantes.

Bonita exposición de un artisto de China mundialmente conocido: Ai Wei Wei. Espacio pequeño pero minimalista y muy bonito. La dueña, una coleccionista de arte, muy simpática y nos atendió muy bien. Entrada 120NOK (unos 12,00€), precio más o menos normal en Noruega.

Small little gallery at „world‘s end“. It was raining cats and dogs so a visit there was a lovely idea.They even changed the name of the building to commemorate Ai Wei Wei. Interesting and disturbing works.Friendly personal, nice gift shop.

Otroligt vackert med en utställning som satt bra och var gripande

En sterk og svært gripende utstilling av Ai Weiwei som setter fokus på fortid, nåtid og fremtid.Flotte lokaler og ikke minst kunnskapsrike og svært hyggelige damer som jobbet der.Innholdsrik butikk med masse flotte kvalitetsvarer. ANBEFALES!!

Vi møtte ei superkoselig og veldig engasjert og kunnskapsrik dame i resepsjonen😊 Utstillingen med Ai Weiwei er gripende når man får tilleggsinformasjonen som tilbys👏🏼😊 mange imponerende verker og en flott utstilling.

Good art

Im no art critique, but I feel most of it was relatively bland, though some pieces were quite thought provoking. And the owner was really energetic and all that. So all in all, the guided tour was worth it.

This is NOT a FISH caviar factory or anything related to historic fish industry on Lofoten at all :This is art gallery with a very strange "nude art". Not recommended for young people (below 18). The shop nevertheless looked nice and the stuff was attentive.

Horrible art founded by the government. Waste of tax money.

Magisk del av Henningsvær - dra dit!!

Exhibition with a small souvenirshop. I just visited the shop so I can only talk about this but the exhibition seemed interesting and is a good opportunity for bad weather.The shop has many unique souvenirs. They are expensive, but you cannot get them everywhere.Parking spots available.

Wij vonden de fototentoonstelling niet mooi met uitzondering van de fotos over IJsland maar de locatie is wel heel geschikt voor exposities.

Definitely worth a visit.

Ici on ne vient pas chercher la quantité ! un très bel écrin pour des oeuvres de qualité et des artistes qui nous invitent par leurs créations à la réflexion, à lémotion... les visiteurs sont très bien accueillis dans ce lieu qui réunit nature et art au Lofoten

Modern art exhibition. Couldnt think of such a place in that remote area. Depending on your liking you may enjoy what you see. Entrance tickets a bit expensive.

Man muss schon sehr mutig sein, wenn man in diesem abgelegenen Dörfchen eine Kunstgalerie aufmacht! Aber alle Achtung: Die Galerie selber ist grandios. In einem geradezu kubistischen Gebäude einer alten Kaviarfabrik finden sich tolle Räume, lichtdurchflutet und mit fantastischen Ausblicken in die Natur.Ob man die Ausstellungen mag oder nicht (schon gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber auf jeden Fall mit Klasse und auf hohem Niveau): Die Galerie selber ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Interesting avant-garde photography gallery, privately own, so it’s down to your subjective opinion of whether the admission fee is too high (100 nok per adult). The gallery is really tiny, but the exhibition space is really something on its own, although I am not that sure about the art works themselves. Owner/staff are friendly.

Interesting Museum with i guess uncommon art by very different people. Very nice location an with an parking lot for its visitors.

Fantastisk lite kunstmuseum. Omgivelsene og lyset alene gjør dette stedet verdt et besøk, for ikke å snakke om innholdet i selve galleriet. Fantastisk at man har klart å skape dette og samtidig ivareta lokalhistorie rundt fabrikken. Kudos!

Attention -Kaviarfactory has nothing to do with "Kaviar" .Homepage is very lean -NO information of Price nada.All the big signs and no clear Information about fees&conditions , gives the feeling of a "tourist-trap".

Fantastic place with great exposition in modern art. We have been lucky to meet and talk to one of the gallery owners - Venke. One can clearly see amount of effort and resources required to establish and rotate art collection of such calibre.

Nesten litt Londonfølelse i Henningsvær. Flotte lokaler. Fin butikk. Kule utstillinger. Litt dyre billetter for liten utstilling.
