The Kaunghmudaw Pagoda is a huge pagoda on the northwestern edges of Sagaing in focal Myanmar (Burma). Demonstrated after the Ruwanwelisaya pagoda of Sri Lanka, the Kaunghmudaw is known for its egg-formed plan, which stands apart among more conventional style, pyramid-moulded Burmese pagodas. The stupas proper name Yaza Mani Sula connotes the reverence of Buddhist relics inside its relic chamber. Be that as it may, it is ordinarily known by its famous name, Kaunghmudaw (lit. Royal Merit-Making). It is a significant journey and vacationer location in the Sagaing zone.

Kaungmudaw Pagoda, also called Yaza Mani Sula, is a huge pagoda 10km beyond the town of Sagaing in central Myanmar. It was built by King Thalun and his son in A.D 1636. The dome shaped pagoda rises up to 46 meters. At the base of the pagoda, there are 812 stone pillars, each one with a hollow and an image of a Nat in it. It was modeled after the Mahaceti Pagoda in Sri Lank. The stupa enshrined the Buddhist relics inside its relic chamber. The pagoda dome had been continuously painted white to signify purity but now gilded with gold. It is one of the famous pilgrimage and tourist destinations in the Sagaing area.

Its not same other pagoda. It looks like a bottle or pot. Sometime it paints with gold. Sometime it paints with white color too. Inside of it is amazing decorations.

Kaunghmudaw Pagoda known as Yaza Mani Sula Kaunghmudaw is a very big pagoda in Sagain of Myanmar. Firstly it was decorated in white colour, but later on painted in golden colour. Now it has been painting in original colour of white. Its also a wonderful one. You should visit it.
