Kauai Escape Room in Lihue

The woman who runs this place is amazing. It was our first escape room and we had a really great experience. Since being home, we have done others but none have had a person running them who was as caring and involved as this lady. If we ever are lucky enough to go back to Hawaii, we will return!

We did the Tiki room with Tammy. It was fantastic. She was very friendly and helpful explaining everything. The room itself was very clever, all of the puzzles were on theme and made sense. This is one of the best escape rooms we have ever done. If youre considering going, do it!

We had such a fun time solving the "Quest for the Lost Continent" room! Great atmosphere and attention to detail. We (barelyfinished the puzzles as a duo - it can be done! A fantastic hour of entertainment... money well spent!

I had no interest in doing an escape room and was thoroughly prepared to dislike the experience. Ended up having SOOOOOO much fun, I absolutely loved it! My group did the Tiki Lounge and it was a blast! I will definitely come back to try the other room next time Im on Kauai.

The tiki room was my first escape room experience. We enjoyed it so much we came back a few days later to do the other room. Ive been to a few escape rooms since and none can compare to Kauai escape rooms. Both rooms were done so well. The clues were challenging but not impossible to figure out without help. When we visit Kauai again we will be coming back for sure!

So much fun! Excellent story, really great puzzles, and the room attendant was helpful at the appropriate moments. We enjoyed the first room so much that we booked the second room on the same vacation. Highly recommend Kauai Escape Room!

We were in Kauai for a week and this escape room was our family’s favorite thing we did. I’ve done quite a few escape rooms and this one is my all time favorite. If you like escape rooms make time for this. We flew out the next day otherwise we would have done the other room they offer. Top notch with a few puzzles that must be experienced.

OMG!!! Amazing games! Both the room we did was fantastic! So well created, total immersion, fun surprises and excellent riddles! Now I have to plan a trip to Hawaii every time they open a new room...

We had so much fun, we did both escape rooms at this location. They were both challenging & intriguing. The staff was engaging & far more interested in how we did than staff at other rooms we have visited.

This is such a treat for Kauai families, adults and young ones alike! We had a mixed age group of 7 people. Would have come sooner if we had known it was going to be so cool, the owners really took care when creating this. Cant wait to try the next game!

Wow!! We were only here on Kauai a week and we had to go twice to this escape room. We did both room and they were the best 2 we have done yet!! Simply amazing! You can tell they love what they do and the staff was incredibly happy and helpful.

We have done escape rooms all over the world and these two rooms are the best! Creative clues, awesome sets, excited and enthusiastic staff. Nothing could have been done better. We had an awesome time. Thanks so much!

Tons of fun! The puzzles were challenging without being frustrating and we escaped with some time to spare! We had a group of four with the tiki room to ourselves, two of us (including myselfwere new to it and the other two were escape room veterans. All of us loved it. 100% would recommend if you have some time in the area.

This is the absolute best escape room experience Ive had! It put my team in a whole new world. The sensory experience is one of a kind. If you are vacationing in Kauai, this is a must do activity!

While in Kauai for my wedding & honeymoon two friends of ours invited me and my wife to participate in the Curse of the Tiki Lounge escape room at Kauai Escape Room. It was mine & my wifes first time doing an escape room, our friends have participated in quite a few.The room was well designed, challenging, and creative. We succeeded in around 40 some odd minutes.It was a great time and if I wasnt back in Chicago now Im sure Id be back to try the Quest For The Lost Continent room! Highly suggest checking out the Kauai Escape Room!

We only had one chance to play before leaving the island and it was already booked, but Tami, a game master, changed her schedule to accommodate us! Amazing customer service - plus she was ebullient. In addition, the game we played (curse of the tiki loungewas quite fun. A couple props/clues were weathered a bit and difficult to interpret correctly, but we figured them out anyway - and in the debriefing after the game, she vowed to fix them. This game includes a surprise that was VERY creepy and fun!

Fantastic as always! We did the Tiki Lounge. The only negative this time was that we solved it so fast; I wish the fun had lasted longer. But it was still fun, and my other two experiences here (Scientist and Seancetook almost the full hour - a bit stressful as time was running out so fast and we almost didnt finish. Not sure which is better, having the fun last longer or killing it! I would advise that this room is a little easier than some, so plan accordingly if you have some experience and tend to be able to solve these things. Anyway, highly recommended to all, kamaaina and visitors alike. I cant wait to go back and try Lost Continent.

We are big fans of escape rooms and this one did not disappoint! Great fun! Our 11 yr old son had a blast. We finished with 2 minutes left. Good fun!

Weve done a number of escape rooms and this one is by and far the best weve done. Very well thought out, difficult, and fun. The clues werent too specific, but helpful enough to keep us moving and feeling like we still solved it on our own.

Wow!!! That was so much fun!! Challenging, creative, unique, and a freaking blast!! This Escape Room is even better than ones on the mainland! Very reasonably priced, extremely friendly staff, and an awesome experience. We had an incredible time and really enjoyed ourselves, thank you so much Kauai Escape Room!!

The owner is very nice! He accommodated our request at last minute call and we were all really happy with the experience.The girl at the front desk was so sweet and gave us quite a few bonus hints. We will definately come back again during our next visit. Best experience on the island!

We completed the Curse of the Tiki Lounge. This room was fun and the ending was pleasantly different and unexpected. We were the last group of the night and they still took the time to go over the room and answer any questions we had about the room. This was a great experience and ranks highly among the other escape rooms we have done in the past. They do have a restroom if needed prior to entering the escape room. Next time we are in Kauai, we are going to take on their other room.

Tiki room. Fun escape room. Clues were all good, decorations were well done. There is one clue that had us laughing and shaking our heads. We would recommend this room to anyone, although it is probably a little tough for newer players.

So. Much. Fun!!! I wish we got an extra 30 minutes, I think we would have gotten it! But that’s more of a personal problem. It was so much fun! My first time doing an escape room and will definitely not be my last! Would do again (with a different storyline)!!!

My husband and I had a great time. This was our first escape room experience so they gave us a good intro before starting. A nice plus was that we could have the room to ourselves. It was a lot to figure out with just the two of us, but we got pretty close. The setting was nicely decorated and the puzzles were challenging but not crazy hard. It was a wonderful way to spend an evening on Kauai.

Curse of the Tiki Lounge was fun and atmospheric. The puzzles made sense and had a nice mix of styles. A great beginner room but also fun for veterans. My family has done about a dozen rooms around the country, and this one had a totally unique twist at the end - very creative.

YES!!! This was my first ever escape room and it was AWESOME!!! I’m addicted now!! Even if you don’t finish, the fun you have will balance out your frustration for not finishing. Super relaxing atmosphere, straight forward instructions...all in all a fantastic way to kill some time, anytime! :D

This was so much fun! My daughter and I didnt quite get to solve the puzzle completely but we laughed so much while we attempted to save billions! Totally worth having the experience and testing your mental skills! I would highly recommend attending! Thank you Kauai Escape room! Mary and Rachel

Enjoyed the Tiki Lounge experience here, friendly staff and very fun interactive themed puzzles. The number of discoveries "per minute" is a higher rate than other rooms weve been to, which made the experience much more fun than usual. Tami was super helpful after our session in walking us through some of our ups and downs of the past hour and hinting at what still lies in store for us to finish this room. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Super room! My husband & I booked the Tiki Room while we were in Kauai. This was the first time we had played an escape room game alone. We had a really great time and we really got into the storyline of the game. There were times I even forgot about the clock ticking down we were so immersed in the game. It was fun to see who was figuring out what elements of the game and realizing how much we both needed each other to be successful. It was a fun way to re-connect. The game theme was perfect for the setting & the clues led us on a lot of twists & turns. We have played a lot of escape games & this one is at the top of our list! No matter what the weather is like you wont be disappointed that you went!

Such a fun way to have some family bonding time! A fascinating setup with many tactile and intriguing puzzles to figure out. Amazed by the attention to detail in the game.Yacine was a great host from start to finish! Helpful, but without giving too much away and super friendly. Definitely worth checking out for your evening entertainment!

We did both rooms and we loved them! Very well designed and decorated. We did several escape games before so we can say that the puzzles are very good and the themes/stories are well thought. We really recommand them.The owner is nice, welcoming and explain everything correctly. We had a debriefing at the end and a photo.

Such a good experience. It was my first escape room experience. We did the Tiki Lounge, and it was great. So many things that I would not have expected. And they were so nice!

My family and I did The Missing Scientist room and had a great time. My 9 year old was so excited, she found many of the clues, and couldn’t stop talking about it afterwards. Such a fun evening!

We had an amazing time at the Escape Room. We did the Tiki Lounge and was able to solve the mystery with 3 minutes to spare. We wanted to go back and do the Mad Scientist room but there wasnt any availability during our vacation to Kauai. If you get the chance, definitely check it out. Tami took great care of us, and was extremely funny.

We love Escape games (we’ve done at least 15so on a rainy day during our honeymoon in Kaua’i we were happy to see there was one nearby. We did the Tiki bar room (we were in Hawaii after alland we loved it. The theming was excellent and the puzzles were varied and innovative. It was just enough of a challenge and we had a great time. One thing we particularly love is that Kaua’i Escape Room only offers private rooms which is awesome because we really prefer working with each other (or friend’s when we’re homesince we know each other’s strengths and feel far more comfortable under pressure without the awakwardness of working with people we don’t know. We highly recommend Kaua’i Escape Room (FYI they were booked solid a few days in advance when we went so make sure to register for your game ahead of time)!

This was my first experience with an escape room, and now I think I have a new addiction. The Tiki room at Kauai Escape Room, was thrilling, cleaver and even magical. It was challenging but not impossible. My wife and I were one clue away from finishing, but the game was still completely satisfying. We wanted to find something to do indoors because it was just a bit to rainy and chilly to fully enjoy Kauais outdoor activities and Im so glad we found this place. The clues were thoughtful and artfully planned. We felt like we were in our own Goonies adventure. We will definitely be back to Kauai and rain or shine well be back to Kauai Escape Room to try our wits against another one of their rooms.

This was a first time at an escape room for us. We took my mother, husband and sister. As none of us had ever done an escape room we were a little unsure what to expect and if we would like it. As we were in Hawaii we decided to pick the tiki themed room. We managed to solve the puzzle in under the hour allotted. We had a lot of fun doing this and will definitely check out future escape rooms! The staff was very friendly!

We did the scientist room and highly recommend. It was our first time doing an escape room and we loved it. Very well thought out. It was just my husband and I, and we got out with just 34 seconds to spare. Very intricate and so much fun for us to work together to solve the puzzles. We are going back tomorrow to do the tiki room! We will be searching for escape rooms back home in Seattle to take our teenagers to.

Great time. It was my first time to the Escape Room and I wasnt sure what to expect. From the lobby you could tell it would be fun and the staff was great. When we left, we were in a large group, we all said we would definitely do it again!

Ten of us (divided into two groupsfrom work went yesterday and had a blast. I want to go again. Its challenging and fun and is a way to bond together in a project of "escape." I would recommend this to all who come to Kauai. Staff is professional and attentive and they really want to make sure you have a great time. Mahalo nui for giving us a great time.

I love love love magic!!! This was right up my alley! My husband and I were working so hard to figure this room out. When you go, go with a group it will definitely help. The owners are great!! We loved it and we...almost escaped!!

Our experience was amazing. We booked one room for a group of 6 but ended up having 11 people & we were close to closing time already. The staff there were kind enough to open another room so that everyone could play. If youre looking for something fun and out of the ordinary, I urge you to try Kauai Escape Room.

We did the rooms The Missing Scientist and Curse of the Tiki Lounge. They were our first Escape Rooms ever, but it was such a great experience, that I almost cant believe that it cant get much better that this! The puzzles were fun, challenging, required sometimes team-work and fair. I can absolutely recommend these Escape Rooms!

Man! That was fun! Our group of 7 were all over the place, yet working all together. Organized chaos! And we loved it. (Mostly because we completed it in the 60 minutes. Whew! If we hadnt succeeded, I dont know if Id be giving it such a great review. Crazy, but true!)

Their rooms are set up very nicely, everything from the clues to the decor. The escape room games are very enjoyable to play through, and the people who run it are super nice. Definitely recommend, whether or not youre a tourist or a local!

SUPER FUN! We did a group of 6 (all in our 30s and smart folksand it was a challenge. We got out with 4 minutes to spare. I would definitely recommend this to locals and tourists alike- you will not regret it!

Our family did the Kauai Escape room on Monday and loved it. It was our first time for all of us. It was very creative and well done. The room was well put together and the whole process was professional. We actually needed hints to be successful and successfully finished with 18 seconds left :)

Great set-up. We did the "Mad Scientist" room and it had enough puzzles and locks to keep the game interesting and fun. If you have extra time on your Kauai vacation its a great way entertain your group.
