Nice place for worship. Staff is too much rude and un professionals. Management has to teach them how to behave politely with guest.

The person sitting on main counter is very rude. He doesnt know how to talk with PPL and was even not receiving the phone since morning I called 10 times but no response and when I went there he was behaving very rudely... The trustees must look on to this.....Jains are known for their polite behaviour so pls look for it

Its same as every Jain temple peaceful and calm. The temple also offers Dharamsala and Bhojansala. The navakarshree starts at 7.30 am to 9.00 am. Also if you dont like rooms in Derasers dharamsala there is also dada wadi dharamsala nearby. You can find contact number on Google.

Katraj Dehrasar is a Tirth for the Jain community.Dehrasar is beautiful and auspicious.There is also Jal Mandir similar to Pavapuri.Take at least 1 hour of time while visiting it.Its a must visit when in Pune.

Katraj Jain Temple is on the Pune-Satara Highway and is set on a hilltop , from where we can get a superb view of city of Pune. There is a golden shaded panch-dhatu idol of Lord Mahavir, in Padmasan, a sitting position which is 12 ft tall and weighs about 5000 kg.Katraj Jain Temple contains 24 tirthankars idols. There are idols of Bhagwan Mahaveer, Bhagwan Parshwnath and goddess Padmavati.

One can visit this place along with family. Ample parking place is available, restrictions on photography inside temple and one is not allowed to sit inside for longer duration of time. Other than above mentioned points this place is nice option to spend time and aura is awesome

Very peaceful, beautiful Mandir with a vast area. You can enjoy beautiful views from the hilltop, i.e., the view of the city along with cool breeze. We visited on a weekend and there was not much crowd. Huge statues of Sri Mahavira, great architecture and chantings in the background by devotees.Its suggested that the ladies carry a shawl (dupattaalong with them during the visit, but they provide duppattas even if you dont have one.There are a few other Jain temples nearby too. Photography is not appreciated within the temple. Guest house facility is available. Parking space too.

Its look like palace on hill.In dhramshala not allow vehicle.so luggage to carry on trolly n we have take trolly from main gate to dharamshalas room.

From here we can see the whole pune. Camera is not allowed here. Less crowded because followers of jain religion is very less in India. This helps the place as a peaceful area. Mind blowing architecture can see from here. From katraj bus station you can reach here by auto or by walk...

Very nice Holi place of Jainism. Very maintained Derasar. Bhojanshala/Prasad house 🏠 served very yummy parasd. Most important very nice vier of Pune from the mountain.... One must visit it once

A good jain tirth. Temple is extremely beautiful and peaceful. The temple authorities are very welcoming. Bhojanshala serves very satvik jain tasty food specially for tapasvis they serve by the bottom of their heart. Charges are very nominal for bhojanshala 100rs per person.Coming to rooms, they could have maintained the rooms still better. When in jainism food should be clean and hygienic then place where we stay should equally be clean and well maintained. There were dead cockroach in the room. Toilet was clean but not bedding and bathroom. Hence gave 4 stars. Overall good experience..

Very Peaceful Tirthdham near Pune.Rooms available for Jain. Bhojansala serves good food.Some rooms are under badly needed renovation as these are about 30 years old.Try 1st floor rooms which are renovated.Hot water is available only outside the rooms.Need much more attention to cleanliness.Bedsheets, Pillow were very old and not fresh. Very little light inside the room. Fan runs on full speed only.Bring your own soap, towel, toiletries.

Peacefull Jain Mandir, atmosphere is so calm, must visit if you r nearby. Also there is new temple constructed in front of old temple.. Do visit both the temples, Food is at reasonable cost and tasty

Hindu temple in Katraj, Pune. Its on a small hilltop. Not much greenary around. They have Prasad available as lunch and dinner. A plate costs INR 100 for person above 4 year old. Food is hygienic and tasty. Also have rooms on rent for night stay.

Superb jain temple of Shri Mahavir Swami Bhagwan as Mulnayak and Shri Shantinath Dada, Shri Neminath Dada, Shri Parshwanath Dada and Shri Chaumukhji bhagwan on 4 sides. The awesome view of sun rise and food is also very good.. Must visit place for jains..

Nice place for jain people , morning me seva pooja and awesome climate.Old Dharmshala is not nice in which we stayed. no light and bedding need to be changed immediately.Morning no hot water and bathroom are just ok.food is awesome and Mandir parisar is clear.all over it is good.

A very big and beautiful jain temple located in Katraj village near pune.very large area,neat and clean, security arrangements are very good, proper parking space is available hear.rooms are also available hear for staying hear.jain bhojanshala is also available hear for eating food.food is also good and tasty.large idols are hear peaceful area

This temple was very serene and calm. It is situated on the top on the hill in Katraj. The temple provides knowledge about the jainism. 12 feet tall statue of Lord Mahavira is too majestic to look at. Then there are statues of all the 24 tirthankaras of Jain religion. Built in modern times, the statues are made of metal and portray metal art of modern era. The temple was not at all crowded. It has ample of parking space as well as Bhojanshala. And they made wheelchair accessible entry and wheelchair facility are available here. It was good for kids to watch. MUST VISIT..!

One of finest Architect Temple is this. I have never seen this type of temple in Maharashtra state Once Ill enter in temple I feel i am in rajasthan..! So day spent well in temple all are people to go n watch this awesome temple feeling blessed..!

A Very beautiful Jain Temple of the 24th Jain Tirthankar Shri Mahavir Prabhu on top of a small hill. It has a prototype of the Pawapuri Jal Mandir which is also very beautiful. There are 2 dharam shalas out of which 1 is recently renovated and rooms are nice. The bhojan shala offers very tasty and satvik food. This place is a must to visit.

Awsome temple at the peak of katraj mountain , now it is occupied with full of society.The nature around the temple and inside the temple is very silent and it gives real peace to the worshippers.The scriptures are written inside in copper paper plates look amazing inside walls of the temple.Around the temple well structure wall is built to protect the visitors and the view of katraj and katraj lake visible from there.I can say that this temple really built in well design and beautiful and it is beauty of katraj.

Such beautiful inscriptions and carvings with extreme details; just marvellous! Located at the top of the hill and so beautifully planned temple. Peaceful and so mesmerising place. Spotless and well maintained. Entry is free but wear full pants. Ample space for vehicle parking. Do visit to witness glory of Jain architecture!

Great Jain temple with a lot of scenic views, a must visit if you are a JAIN and in pune even if for 1 day. There are all 45 Aagams inscripted on metal sheets available here to see. Sitting on a small hill it takes some time to reach as the roads are very steep and with deep pot holes and cracks in some places. The Dharamsha in currently under construction and the one available is not that good. I visited the place on Gyan Pancham and the food available was satisfactorily good.

Excellent Shwetambar jain mandir. Witnessed its construction & expansion since 1996. Developed well as pilgrimage place. Nice temple on hilltop of Katraj. Very nice arrangements to stay, food. Nice open space. Wheelchair arrangements, ample parking place. Nice staff, perfect holy place.

Its a very beautiful and peaceful jain temple situated on a small hill of pune..It is a shvetambar jain mandir..The statue of bhagwan mahaveer swami is really beautiful and has its own attraction to see. On all of the wall of temple, Sutra of AGAM are written..A small pavapuri jal mandir is also with it...For food bhojanshala and for stayin room facility is available..
