Ive been to the other side of the planet, and I eat Thai wherever I go. By far the best , fresh, Thai food Ive ever had. Get mango and sticky rice for dessert!

The food was Ok but spicy. it became much more expensive than before. we were in the falls and it was good to eat there.

Considering they are so understaffed the food was extremely tasty and service was good. I got the Drunken Fried Rice level 3 of 4 and it was the perfect amount of spice. One of the better Thai places I’ve been to in Alabama.

I decided to try something new this time. The drunken noodle did not disappoint.

Such a great little find. Granted it appears a hole in the wall dont be discouraged by its appearance the food is fantastic. The curry is amazing as well as the pad thai, spring rolls and not to mention the thai tea which is sooo good and refreshing. If in the area I highly recommend giving it a try!

I always enjoy finding a place off the beaten path. This restaurant is tucked in a little shopping center right across from the Noccalula Falls main parking area. I had the Drunken noodles which were great. Service was quick and all the staff were friendly. I will definitely stop by more often.

This place is a hidden gem. My friend and I went here while traveling through Alabama. They have a full vegan menu (we are both vegansand plenty of options. I got the vegetable spring rolls and pineapple fried rice - both delicious! Highly recommend this place.

Everything was good. We got the spring rolls, basil rolls, curry noodle bowl, spicy green curry & pineapple fried rice. I only went once, but everyone that came with me wants to go back again this week.

Dont let the "hole in the wall" appearance fool you, this is the best Thai restaurant in the whole state! Honestly, its the second best Thai restaurant Ive ever eaten at including multiple 5 star restaurants up the East and West coasts. Staff is also super friendly.

Coming from out of state, I was a bit skeptical at first about trying this one Thai place in the area. I have to say I was blown away and so was my mouth by the delicious explosion of flavor!! The Tom Kah ( coconut soup), Pad Thai and homemade lemonade were all delicious! Thumbs up!!

Im just going to say this, I visited multiple Thai restaurants, even a one star Michelin Thai restaurant in NYC and nothing compares to this one, everything is delicious, my favorite and suggestion is the Pineapple fried rice. PLUS the staff is super friendly. I recommend 100% this little restaurant, it should have more recognition.

Amazing! Fantastic! Holy Grail of Food! I’m not even a “Thai Food” fan but my gawd how phenomenal! EVERYTHING! Satay chicken, spring rolls, cucumber soup, vegetable (chickendelight, wine, coconut water, and please get the coconut ice cream. Well worth the 30 min drive. I’ll be back. I’ll DEFINITELY BE BACK!

The best pad thai in probably 60 miles. They have a great tamarind based sauce instead of a ketchup based like most places. Not greasy, perfect amount of sauce. I get extra chicken and add steamed vegetables. Sooooo good.

My daughters friend worked there and suggested the Panang Curry and w/Chicken Fried Rice. Ive been eating the same meal 24 times a year for 5 years.

The food is good. They have tasty vegetarian options. The food is overpriced for the amount you get but it’s good. I would eat here again just not as often.

Highly recommend visiting! All 3 dishes that we tried were fresh ingredients and full of flavor!!! The green spicy curry was my favorite. Thai tea was so flavorful and rich!

one of those hidden gems. not great looking from the outside and it could use some updating on the inside but the Thai food there is legit and the service was good. I would definitely go back next time we are in Gadsden. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. We had three different noodle dishes and some appetizers and everything was great.

Super good! Im mad that weve lived here for eight years and this is the first time weve eaten there. Great service, fantastic food and decent atmosphere. The only thing I can say negative is the staff didnt have masks on.

Ordered takeout and this is the first time I have ever tried Thai food and it was AMAZING!! Get the curry noodle bowl and get it medium spicy!! You won’t be dissatisfied!

The food was fantastic. Everything was very flavorful. We had the dumplings (loved the curry sauce), Larb (again great), and a pork and ginger with eggs dish. All were wonderful. We now have a favorite restaurant in Gadsden.

I have personally never ate Thai food before but after visiting this establishment, I will say it is a favorite of mine. The place is rather small and kind of hidden but that doesnt take away from the fact that it is a wonderful choice for anyone looking to get a great Thai meal. From the appetizer, to the entrée, I couldnt have picked a better place to eat. The curry noodle bowl will definitely be one of my top dishes Ive ate all year. The service was just as good as the food, MacKenzie and Kimmy did a wonderful job catering to my every need and I will definitely be back very soon! I encourage everyone to give this place a shot.

Based on the hotel clerks recommendation we tried Kati Thai and loved it. As tourist in Gadsden for only one night for this to be our "dinner out" it made a great impression! If youre in the area... for sure give it a try and do get the Thia Tea! 👍🏻👍🏻

I absolutely loved the food and the Thai tea was fantastic. It’s too bad that they were closed for dining in, but even for takeout they were quick and the food still tasted just as good. I highly recommend this place.

Got the Pork Drunken Noodles, it was really good. Even better is the Coconut Ice Cream with sweet rice, probably the best ice cream Ive had. Overall I cant wait to go back and try something new.

Kati Thai offers surprisingly good Thai cuisine for a restaurant in a town as small as Gadsden.The restaurant is small and dimly lit, but has a warm and inviting atmosphere nonetheless. There was only one server while we ate, but he was on top of things, pleasant, and had a good humor.Our food was obviously cooked fresh, but still arrived promptly.The Thai iced tea was perhaps a little too sweet and had a slightly strange aftertaste, but it was still pretty good. We sampled the dumplings for an appetizer. They were steamed and served with a sort of citrusy sauce. Very fresh and flavorful, perhaps my favorite part of the meal!Complimentary soup was served with our lunch special. Super hot!Our friends had drunken noodles and Kapow chicken. They chicken was particularly well received, and our friend complimented their adherence to the three pepper spiciness level he asked for. Just enough to clear the sinuses and feel the burn!I had pad see ew and my mom had cashew chicken with bell peppers and brown sauce. We liked the cashew chicken better; we thought the chicken was cooked perfectly and the sticky rice really soaked up the flavorful sauce. Pad see ew noodles were also good, not gummy or stuck together, but I do wish there had been more broccoli.All in all, I definitely recommend this place!

Ive had many dishes from this restaurant over the past few years. They have not changed in their quality. Great flavor to each of their dishes with a unique flavor to the ones I have tried. Customer service is great, my glass was always topped off, and to-go orders were always on time. The meals have plenty of food for the price, some are enough for a small left over meal or snack the next day.Kati Thai is a staple for Gadsden.

Usually a great experience but tonight we ordered, picked up and headed home. When we got home we opened our order of spring rolls to find out that we didn’t get any sweet and sour sauce. Now I don’t know if you’ve ever tried to enjoy spring roll without sweet and sour sauce but it’s not easy. And after paying 5.99 EACH for an order of spring rolls (which has 3 in an orderthey should remember the sweet and sour sauce. I know I might seem like a Karen here but the way I was talked to when I called them is what brought me here. I’m not sure who I talked to but when I asked if we were supposed to pay extra for the sauce and she said “if you order extra you pay extra” but I said we didn’t get any at all, there was a long silence. Then she said “okay.. do you want to come back and get some or are you just calling to complain?” After that I said “thank you, bye”. We live in Southside and weren’t driving 25 minutes to get some sauce. I didn’t expect much but I guess I expected something different than that experience. We’ll be moving soon so I won’t have to worry about going there anymore but it’s was really sad. Such a good place with good food, but I’m glad there’s minimal interaction with people inside the restaurant because they’re rude! 2 stars because the food is typically good.

This was an impromptu visit , going through town and searched for a Thai restaurant. What a pleasant surprise ! Ordered the drunken fried rice.it was delicious. That Smokey flavor and distinct taste of the ingredients was remarkable . I have had Thai food from San Francisco to Boston to dallas and by far this is the best !!!

This was our first time ordering from Kati Tai. We heard it was the best place to eat in town so we ordered the Pineapple fried rice and an order of steamed vegetables. The steamed vegetables was about the size of an order youd expect. We have a highly energetic 4 year old who eats like a bird and just that order wasnt enough for her but she loved it. We got 2 orders of the pineapple fried rice. Each order was a moderate size. It is very tasty!When I used GPS it took me right to the door, of a small restaurant, in the back end of a small shopping center. I was not shocked that this little place was closed for dining. Actually, it wasnt just closed for dining-in but it was also closed for entrance into the dining area. I walked into what looked like an entrance stall. It was entirely enclosed as if there were 3 false walls and a false ceiling. It was sealed off and contained a counter with menus and the card machine as well as a side window for pickup. You speak to someone through closed windows so you will have to speak up and listen carefully. Your order is brought to a side window over the counter where your food is dropped off, in bags, for a touch-free visit. I didnt have to touch the card reader, either. We called our order in and it was promised in 20 minutes. It was ready when I got there. I definitely suggest trying this place out.

I have been to Thailand and honestly this is the most delicious and authentic Thai food I have eaten in the US and we have been to several Thai restaurants in many states and big cities because we love Thai food. Kati Thai never disappoints and their service is always wonderful. Really love the people who work here. If you are in the Gadsden area and you want the best Thai food, go here!!!

Seriously disappointed. Called at 9:06pm and ordered shrimp pad Thai. Got shrimp with fried rice. Paid $15 for this. Not a happy camper at all. Not what I asked for.

The place is located across from the waterfall park. It is next to Physicians Apothecary. It is a small place but not crowded. The waitress was great. There is a separate vegan menu. I had the fried spring rolls. They were delicious. I had the broccoli and mushroom rice dish. It was good too.

If I am passing through Gadsden, I am probably going to stop and eat at Kati Thai. Do not be deterred by the exterior or the location. You will be delighted. EVERYTHING I have ordered there from tea, appetizer, to entree has been delicious and freshly prepared—so I don’t have a favorite because I have enjoyed each so much. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly. Double check their hours as they do close for a short time some days after lunch and before dinner & are not open Monday or Tuesday.

Karen and I stopped at Kati Thai Kitchen on our way north from Pensacola. We were looking for something different from the usual road food. Kati delivered. We both had interesting presentations of Drunken noodles and classic vegetarian Pad Thai. Its good, the portions are good and the staff was friendly. Its about a mile and half from the interstate.

I never leave reviews, but I will for Kati Thai. The food is fantastic. The drunken noodle and Noodle Soup are my favorites. The consistency is probably the best I’ve ever experienced from any restaurant. The food is never bad or even lacking in any way. They are also have a good understanding of gluten free and have developed specific menu options for gluten free diners. This is easily the best restaurant in Gadsden and one of the best in Alabama.

Awesome, this place was wonderful. It was dark when we arrived, an odd location for such amazing food, so dont let that scare you off. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had the basil rolls, yellow curry with tofu, and the spicy eggplant with chicken. EVERYTHING was incredible.Thank you Kati Thai!

Having never been to Thailand, I cant comment on the authenticity of the cuisine offered at Kati, but I can tell you it tasted wonderful. Its hands down the best Thai food Ive ever had.I met a group of friends for dinner and we shared several dishes "family style" and every dish we tried was unique, beautifully prepared and tasted even better.As a fan of spicy foods, I can also say that the spice ratings on the menu are quite accurate. You cant approach these dishes expecting the mediocre heat you get from your average Asian eatery. They bring the spice ... and it is glorious. You can really taste the flavor from the peppers along with the heat they bring, and the notes are dead on.Even though we were in a large group, the service was fast, professional and very friendly.The dining room is somewhat small, which will surely become an issue as the flocks of patrons grow larger and larger. I see an expansion coming very soon once this amazing restaurant gets the rush of regulars it well deserves.Eat here. You will not regret it!
