North African dishes in a colourful all-day eatery with a bazaar selling Moroccan furnishings.
The new renovation is lovely, much more spacious and trendy. Very good with hygiene and covid precautions.Staff are friendly and helpful and the manager is absolutely lovely. The food is great and the new changes to the recipes/menu make it even yummier than before. Truly authentic Moroccan cuisine.Would recommend to all.
One of the best place for food and super nice envirment i really liked it
Kasbah sasaved our evening. We was desperate for food as Chinatown let us down.Fantastic atmosphere and delicious food!
came with my dad for the first time and we were so happy with our service. it was our first meal out during lockdown so we were quite nervous but the setup was great and our server Olivia was really lovely too! we asked her for a few recommendations and the food was really lovely too, will definitely come again
This was a last minute decision, after doing a quick google review search we thought this would be worth while based on the rave reviews. Either these are paid reviews or these are the same kind of people that think a ‘chicken korma’ is authentic Indian or your Chinese from the chippy is your authentic Cantonese. The decor is beautiful, the staff are very friendly but are ill equipped, our order was taken then wasn’t given to the kitchen for 15 minutes. Another waiter came and took our order againBut anyway, that’s all just white noise, the review is for the food. I want to start this by how I intend to end it. We left most of the food to give to our cat, and to be honest, she wasn’t even that keen either. The lamb Tagine tasted of turmeric. There was nothing more to it. The beef was incredibly well cooked. But just turmeric. I can’t express how weird the sensation is of putting meat, raisins, Seeds, sauce and it all tasting of nothing but turmeric. It was pretty pointless having a meat dish because you could of poured the flavour over bread and not been able to tell the difference. The lamb kofte was dry. It just tasted of parsley and some other spices that didn’t mix well. I don’t even want to discuss. It still upsets me. Won’t ever go back even if it was free. I get more of burst of serotonin from the thought of a Big Mac then the thought of eating this food again
Service is fantastic, staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food was tasty, the lunch time selection had plenty of choice, was good value for money. We got the three courses. Staff even offered the two kids a free portion of fries. Very clean and good distancing between tables. Highly recommend.
The food is wonderful and the staff are super friendly. The owners nephew came up to us at the end and had a lil chat with us and offered us free green tea. Only downfall was they dont sell alcohol and pretty much everything on the menu has garlic (I love garlic but my gf is allergicso just good to know in advance. Had the lamb kofta with rice - rice was incredible. Good portions and very tasty food. Would recommend
Good food, big portions (so big we had to ask for a doggy bag), friendly staff. Never had Moroccan food before so a nice surprise as we went in on spec. Service was a bit slow so no 5 stars.
Food and warm welcome were superb . Booked an early table for two on Valentines day really good and generous sharing platter for starters simply lovely . Minor hiccup when the waiter tried to bring our main course while we were still eating and enjoying our starter but this was quickly resolved without too much fuss . lemonade was the perfect accompaniment to the meal but would have been good to get large bottles of fizzy water instead of the small ones? main courses were of a great standard as expected and portions more than generous. Price is a revelation absolutely great value and service deserving of a generous tip . Altogether a great experience and good alternative to other cuisines offered in the area.
Excellent food and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend place. My review 2019Review 2020.Ordered dish over the phone for table for one. The person on the phone asked if is for delivery when I said again it will be sit in but I just want dinner to wait for me ready by the time I arrive. He said no problem. I asked once again to be sure that food will be ready. No problem, the person on the phone said.I walked in, empty restaurant, having a little laugh with staff while I take a sit. 3 min later I sit down at the table. Waited for 15 minutes, restaurant still empty. After a bit more waiting, waiter is showing up with the bag of food. I said it was for sit in, which was also obvious by me waiting with the drink at the table and mentioning it over the phone. He goes back, 5 min later my food is finally on the plate and its coming on the table.Food was fantastic as always!!I tell him about my order and unsatisfied experience I had.He said yeah I know, we are busy and messed up the order, remember Im the only customer in the restaurant, on what he said Ill knock down apple juice from the bill. Glass of asda apple juice worth probably about 30p.Is that how much your customer is worth to you? He put another 15% off from the food. Literally no words to describe this. Got few poor apologies but I dont think so Ill be back there.Im eating there about onece a week and most of the time bring someone in. I had really good experience so far but with the time people are just getting less respectful.Pros- great foodCons- experience as a customer
Fantastic evening meal here a few weekends back (mid Jan)! Food very fresh, flavoursome and a wide choice. Portion size is very good and the staff were most attentive, the manager made the effort to come and speak with me in addition to waiting staff. Great that the bar and part of kitchen is visible. Will definitely return when next in Liverpool. Atmosphere very relaxed with Moroccan beats, on my visit the restaurant was busy but not at full capacity.
Food, service, atmosphere all excellent. Value for money lunchtime menu, with a wide variety of choices makes for special lunchtime treat, that doesnt break the bank. Our waiter Hasan, was especially good, offering advice and guidance on choices. Would not hesitate in recommending this beautiful restaurant 🤗
Absolutely amazing, fab food and great flavours. Staff fantastic friendly and chatty. Would highly recommend
Delicious food, good service even when busy. Cous cous lovely. We usually go for the tagines but the lamb chops are amazing. Go here regular favorite place in town. Staff really nice and attentive.
Loved my experience here, lovely food and service. The tagine was so succulent and flavorful, the spicy Moroccan tea is out of this world, but be warned it is spicy.
Very nice menu with a wide selection of dishes. We arrived for a dinner one evening and found the restaurant to be very nice. The decor was wonderful and we were quickly seated. We started with the hummus and bread. The bread was warm and delicious. The hummus was also very flavorful and freshly made. We shared a mixed grill which came with plenty of food! The meats were all very good. The lamb was my favorite as it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The only negative was the service as it was very slow. That being said, I still give it 5 stars and would always go back if I wanted Moroccan food!
Food looks good, but tasted mediocre. The service was very slow, we waited over an hour after ordering... The wait was apparently because they only had one chef for the entire restaurant. So then we were left with the concept of slow mediocre food. Served to us, finally, by a waiter that was clearly having a bad day. All in all, not the best experience. But Ill go back another day and give them another try 😊
Superb real moroccan dishes. Unbelievable friendly staff. Dog friendly.
Best place for food, definitely worth the prices and decent atmosphere.
It was a nice restaurant if you like lamb or beef. Ive been liverpool for 7 years. This is one of the best two middle east restaurants Ive try. In Tuesday, they will have discount for tagine. I LOVE this restaurant and VERY BEAUTIFUL LADY STAFF serve here!
Had the sea bass. What a fantastic meal. Wish Id taken a photo to share with you, but when it arrived I couldnt wait to eat it. Staff where very attentive and friendly. I can highly reccommend. Will definitely be going back. Thanks for a lovely meal.
Lovely morrocan cuisine , lovely choice of grilled meats and fish and the traditional Tangine, all the decor is authentic Morrocan style to boot , staff very helpful and enthusiastic.Went for the Fez Tangine , a slow cooked lamb stew ,the savoury flavours beautifully off set by the sweetness of the apricots and prunes and the crunchy walnuts traditionally cooked in an earthen ware Tagine. We washed it down with hot sweet Morrocan mint tea . Lovely time
Lovely cosy moroccon restaurant. Great flavours, welcoming staff and a warm atmosphere.
Nice food, little bit expensive but worth the price, good service
Excellent foodWe went in here as the place looked really interesting. The atmosphere was great. Very busy with a variety of clientele enjoying their meals. There were couples, families with children and ones with babies. They accommodated us with our buggy. The decor is really interesting with lots of pictures on the walls and patterned cushions etc.I had the falafel and hummus kawarma with lamb. It was great. The lamb just melted in your mouth. The falafel was very tasty and not at all too greasy. The dip was also very good. My wife had the soup and the Pastillas Fassia (chicken pie with almonds and cinnamonfrom the lunch menu. Neither of us had tested this before and we thought the blend of flavours worked very well together and was so good wed definitely have it again and try to make it at home.Fully recommend
Real traditional Moroccan food 😋 Highly recommended
Great atmosphere, super tasty food and friendly service.
Absolutely amazing food; the staff were helpful and friendly, whilst also giving off a welcoming and warm feeling. The food was fantastic; the Mixed Grill is a must try, and the Tagines are lovely. This restaurant really is a hidden gem on Bold Street!
Very Nice restaurant for family, group of friends and also co-workers. The food is great, typical Moroccan food. The staff is nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place for any type of circumstances (birthday, work anniversary, romantic dinner,...)Nice Moroccan decoration. It feels like being in Morocco.
Amazing food and very good prices... No alcohol is served here 😊
Traditional themed decor. Reasonable prices. I thought the food was more 3.5 than 3 star. I had the meatball tagine which was tasty, lots of cloves though. Other items on the menu are pretty simple meals like chicken and rice. No parking available. Alcohol is not served. Staff and service good.
Great fresh Moroccan food, we only had a small meal but it was very tasty and good value. The menu looked very good and lots of nice dishes to try, we will be going back to try more. Service was prompt and friendly. Well worth a visit.
Regulars at this place. Fantastic food and service by all staff.
Excellent ambient, cozy, amazing food, beautiful decoration. Totally recommend.
Great Moroccan restaurant. I was surprised to have a good Moroccan food in Liverpool. The price was not too expensive and the portions were great. We had the lunch deal for 10£ (starter and main course). The service was quick. The atmosphere is very friendly , nice decoration, nice music.
Brilliant and real authentic Morrocan atmosphere, great tasting food and friendly service. Would love to go again.
Great food especially the lamb chops, best i had in my life
Good authentic food, vegan options available. This place was recommend by local friends, we werent disappointed.
Fast service. Great prices. Large portions & delicious food. Great ambience.
Amazing experience. Very good food (dont miss the lamp, try the pasteles and the halloumi). I also liked the hummus. Very lovely staff that made my lunch a whole experience as we where on couches for a couple of hours having food, then tea and dessert. Reasonable price (lunch offer is perfectand good ambience. Very recommended.
Amazing food. The taste is great. It takes a little longer for food to be served but that if you need freshly cooked food then that is required.I ordered the platter, it came with chicken and lamb kebabs with fries and salad. You can choose rice instead of fries. The mayo served with the food was nice aswell. The overall experience is compounded by the traditional music and abiemce in the restaurant.Give it a try if you are in Liverpool.
Had breakfast here on Saturday, my husband had the full breakfast which he really enjoyed especially the Moroccan beans, and I had the veggie breakfast which was good with fresh Moroccan bread , the staff were really friendly and the service was great.
Love this place the atmosphere is always great & the staff give the best service. Location is great as its not far train station & nearby sites of Liverpool. Food is fantastic, been there many times & not once have had a bad experience. The mixed grill is superb and the desserts & drinks are great. Great value for money too if you are on a budget.
Kasbah is my favourite place to eat in Liverpool. Its food is authentic and definitely not watered down, as is the vibe. Would reccommend the tagine de fez, briouat lala zhour, and the sahara tea - so amazing. Dont even know how many times Ive been here!
Not disappointed by our first visit to The Kasbah Cafe Bazaar. Friendly staff, nice environment and enjoyable food. Visitors should be aware that alcohol isnt available. All things considered, Im sure we will be revisiting in the not to distant future.P.S. Loved the Hats!
Best Moroccan restaurant in Liverpool, nice and tasty food, nice staff, good place and reasonable prices.
Great place for dinner, everything that everyone ordered was cooked brilliantly and tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool or indeed anyone who is from Liverpool and has not been. Awesome food, Friendly staff and an ambient atmosphere.
Cosy with beautiful moroccan decoration. Food was good and the tea as well. Friendly staff. Affordable.
Everything we ordered was delicious and authentic, the best North African food I have tasted since being there on holiday 20 years ago. The décor was perfect, very atmospheric and it was pleasantly busy. The staff were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The prices were average with the main courses very good value in my opinion. We went on a Friday night in Feb 2017 with teenage kids and will definitely be returning.
Went here with two friends. Has a varied menu with plenty to choose from. The seating was lovely and comfortable. It wasnt too noisy in there which was nice. I have had eating out experiences ruined by too loud music. The food is gorgeous, every bite of it. Beautifully presented and cooked. The service was fast despite it being busy and on a Saturday. The waiters were lovely, particularly the one man who was very attentive and funny. There was a great banter going as one of the girls had already been before. I left there very full. I look forward to taking my family there to enjoy the experience once more.
