Park featuring spaces for basketball, tennis, soccer & baseball, plus a trail & picnic spots.
Nice place to have burger in b
I found everything needed for morning family jogging there. love it
Kids had a blast
Nice park inside 610. There are big grass field/baseball field, tennis court, basketball field and kids playground. There is a wall for tennis practice too. I saw Soccer Shots organizing their classes there. The only concern I have is that there is no designated parking lot. I had to park along the street.
Pitch black at night, not one single light anywhere.
Nice neighborhood park. Great playground for kids. Could use some TLC. Not as crowded as other parks
Love it! Great trail for walking runners there are very polite.
Neighborhood park, it has a 0.3 mile track. Very well kept.Street parking,,watch for signs. Fenced.Basketball court, tennis court, 2 playgrounds, baseball field, and lots of trees around. No public restrooms.
Nice size neighborhood park. The Grounds Maintenance needs some cleanup of torn leaves and broken dead branches from recent storm. Most trees need trimming and the Ball Moss plus the branches that it has killed need to be trimmed out. Ball Moss will eventually kill your beautiful Oaks! One tree near the covered tables + benches needs some major trimming with many branches that have long been frozen. Vines on the ground looks good near the street, but have grown up onto the decorative 2 1/2 foot iron fence and look wild and tacky. Its very overgrown and has many young various sapling trees growing through the fences which will ruin your nice fences. The trash can was full and overflowing of food waste and paper etc. Theres a tennis court which needs some paint and a tennis practice wall that needs some attention. All Playground equipment looks in good order and covered tables/picnic area are nice. Lots of shaded area and lots of sunny places too.
Kids playground, 2 tennis courts, basketball hoop, grass field, no toilets.
Nice shaded park. Great for walking your pets. Overall very clean and friendly people.
Broken glass and trash everywhere. Kids are trying to play but keep getting bitten by ants. Grass is super tall. The playground is old and dangerous 😡 Sylvester Turner needs to come and help out with the park.
I went to play basketball and it was kool sunny with a few nice breeze coming through. The park was clean and there was shade to sit under and catch my breath 😆havent played in soo long so I very much enjoyed the workout.
A 5 for young families. We Seniors there for 8 nights to visit family, everyone looks happy; friendly service,g amenities & hook ups.
Clean, simplistic, open, and scenic. Excellent location to visit with family and friends on a beautiful, golden day. The playground is large and safe, offering a wide range of activities for both the young ones and the older child who has a little spunk left in him. Wide, grassy field for activities/sports. Trail that encircles the park and makes for an appropriate walk and talk event. A pavilion is located in the center of the property and is fit for hosting parties and the like. Wonderful, wonderful place.
Great open spaces. There are a couple of small playgrounds, good for younger kids. Lots of people walking and bringing their dogs. Very friendly atmosphere.
Great outdoor space. Free tennis court and tennis wall. Lots of space to spread out. Suitable for walking and multiple activities.
Hola! Really nice and simple park. I guess there are no restrooms... not that I had to use one but according to others.
Conveinant quiet but nice and lively in the evening neighborhood park. 1 tennis court with backboard, walking track basketball and playground
Great park to place tennis, soccer and area to run. Clean
Great little neighborhood park. The walking path, tennis courts and shady areas for little kids to play is a plus.
Despite 2 days of rain, there was minimal water puddles around the various facilities... none within the facilities themselves! We went for tennis practice, and had a great time on both the wall, and the nets. Loved the evening. Worth every minute we spent at the park.
My kids love this park. There is tennis, basketball, large soccer fields, two play areas, and a fence all the way around the park. It can take a little time to drain after it rains, but that doesnt slow my kids down.
This park is great. It has a big open grassy area, a tennis court, basketball court, and two playgrounds- one for older kids and one for younger kids. Its always clean as well. The parking is not good though. You cannot park on one side of the street (or it would be difficult for cars to get throughand the one side you can park on is always full. Also I hate that it doesnt have any lights at all- not even at the entrance. So when it gets dark by 5:30 then you have to leave because its too dark.
Accessible, small family park, great for dogs and kids because you can see the entire park from any spot so they can run free on their own.
Has quite a range of possible activities here. Two tennis courts, a walking/biking path, probably 400 meters circle, three basketball nets, on a smaller court. Swings, and a big and medium slide, with a giant horizontal tire swing. A big field where soccer, field hockey and other team practices are taking place. The most fun part so far for my childs age group is the big sandbox in the middle. It could use a few newer donated toy trucks, shovels, sifters and such, as the ones that remain there are very much in need of replacement (or bring our own, just be ready to share). It is a nice place for youngsters to learn how to share with new friends, or to try and peacefully co-exist with other children, and all of the parents Ive spoken with have been and I expect to remain polite and open to conversation. There are a dozen or so tables under structured canopies where it is common to see people relaxing, or group birthday parties. This part of the neighborhood is subject to a rejuvenation after Harvey, so there are many contractor vehicles and sidewalk repairs taking place. Patience is key with parking, for as the area gets renewed, the street opens up for parking.
This looks to be a cute little park tucked away under some trees right off Stella Link near the corner of Braeswood. I brought my grandchildren to check it out and was quickly and sorely disappointed. There is no parking so if you dont live in walking distance make sure to read your signs before you park! There is a nice walking trail, tennis court and covered picnic area BUT the playground area and equipment need some serious clean up !
Its a cute little park. Needs something underneath the slides, small children hit the hard ground. Parking is complicated since theres no parking signs everywhere. Its usually empty and quiet
At 8am too much trush , they need to put trush can close to the kids playground, and plant more crape myrtle around the park.
This place is wonderful, clean and quiet. This is a great place to take your kids. Everyone is too themselves.
Its a good place to spend time, you can play tennis, basketball, soccer while the kids have a fun time in the playground and sand pit.
Fun outdoor park with tennis courts, basketball, and baseball/kickball field. Free parking. Also a playground
Nice park. Open space to play soccer, football or baseball. Big playground. Track for running...
This place is nice and there are two playgrounds one for the lil ones and one for the bigger kids. This one also has a rare feature for a public playground, a covered sandbox!
Nice neighbor hood park. Clean. Safe. Nice walking track. Playground, 🎾 tennis court and basketball 🏀 too. All are in good/decent shape. Lots of people and kids.
Unfortunately no restrooms or parking area, otherwise a perfect park. Big and lil playgrounds, jogging trail, baseball field, tennis court, basketball court, racquet ball/ skate slab, shaded picnic table areas, and a sandbox. My dad took me as a kid, now I take my kid😎🤸♀️👩👧
Good park for little toddlers. They have a play area for smaller kids with 4 swings (2 baby swings), some small slides and climbing areas, a large, shaded sand box, and a big open field for kicking a soccer ball around. No bathrooms and only has street parking (but down the street, not in front of the park). There are also tennis courts, a walking/running path, covered area with tables, and a big kid playground.
My favorite park growing up! Could use a few upgrades but it still is great place for little children
Very pretty. Great for a short walk, small playground or b-ball and tennis courts.
A great place for jogging and the park has a childrens park and a tennis court also ,in addition to that it is a safe neighborhood.
I really like this park. It has a huge open grass area for drone or kite flying (away from trees). There is a tennis court, basketball and an area that looks like a baseball diamond. There are two playgrounds--one for older and one for younger children. There is a sand pit next to the little park which my kids always love and it keeps them busy. It is also shaded. There are multiple shaded areas at this park--which is key for a Houston summer (and also nice for the occasional downpour). There is a spacious pavilion for parents with bench tables. I like this because the tables have enough room for books, notebooks, bags and tablets. They are also plastic so no splinters. There are seat benches scattered around the park for sitting and people watching. My favorite part of the park is the walking/running path that circles the entire park. It is partly shaded by trees as well. The only reservation I have with this park is that there is no bathroom or port-o-pottie. Overall, however, it is a great park for kids and adults.
It has variety of things for kids to play with. Used to play soccer here and liked it. Has lot of pokemon in Pokemon go game :)
Its a little small but Well kept park. It has a Basketball court, Playground, Tennis court and a field that can be used for soccer practice.
Ive been going to the park for years, first as a kid, and now with my children. Lots of open space to run around, play sports, etc., and decent playground equipment. Can get very muddy after rain.
Fun family friendly park with plenty of shades, nice playground and green fields.
The track is just over 1/4 mile which Im utilizing to train for a PT test. Never crowded on the track side. Could use more water fountains and tidying of the track itself.
Small fairly well maintained park. Has basketball mini-court, hard surface lawn tennis court, childrens playground (areaand a medium sized lawn for open space activities. The time I was there (Sunday evening - Houston Spring weather), there were a handful of families mostly with infants and toddlers.
Great park. Lots of people around. Very large. Had a bday party here for a 3 year old.
Excellent neighborhood park! Tennis court, tennis wall, basketball court, playground, baseball field (which can be used for soccer, etc). A 1/3 mile gravel trail surrounds the park, which is great for quick strolls.
This is a beautiful family friendly park. The only thing is there is not a restroom. So if you have to use it, youll have to walk across the street and use it at the gas station.
