Everyone came here for Kappal bridge and surrounding scenery. It was a raining day when we reached. Nevertheless, the scenery is still beautiful. Highly recommended to come here once in a life time.

Landmark place is innermost point of walking trail of Kamigochi, where souvenir, restaurant, cafe bistro and rest stop locate. Apple flavored softcream and apple pie ,which is stuffed with sweetened apple, are signature sweet to be tried.

This place is so beautiful, it os ridiculous! This is definitely a must of your are anywhere in the area. Or just make a trip specifically to walk or hike here. Amazing! Not to many places to compare to this beautiful and magical location.

初上高地でした！始発バスに乗車して、上高地に到着したらちょうど朝陽が上がり始めて、山に陽の光があたって赤くなっていました。美しくて感動でした。わずかな時間でしたが、貴重な景色を見ることが出来、大満足です。売店で食べたおやきやコロッケは絶品！上高地の水を汲むところもあって美味しく頂きましたよ。早朝にも関わらず、多くの人がいらっしゃり驚きましたが、多くの人を魅了してやまない上高地の素晴らしさが、現地に行ってみて納得でした。自然の美しさ、偉大さ、清らかさ全てを全身で感じとることができる、日本を代表する絶景スポットですね。

10月の三連休で行きました。全国旅行支援が始まる前でしたが結構混んでいました。この日は残念ながら曇りでしたが、まだ紅葉が始まってすぐのところだったので山頂付近だけオレンジの色が見られこの時期にしか見られないとても綺麗な景色が見られました。今では全国旅行支援と外国人の個人旅行も解禁されましたので、これからはもっともっと人が増えると思います。平日に行くことができる人なら平日に行くことをおすすめしたいです。

Best place to see the beauty of Kamikochi.

最高の癒やしスポット。朝5時に到着、もしくは前日宿泊してからの散歩が最高です。山菜そばがどこで食べても美味しいです。イワナは時間帯によって食べれないのでご注意ください。明神池は往復2時間は必要です。ゆっくりして3時間。大正池は河童橋からは往復2時間コースですが、バスで大正池に降りてかっぱ橋向かえば片道1時間ですみます。8月真夏でも羽織が必要なくらいの気温です。ちなみに松本市は普通にかなり暑いので全く別物の服装を用意して行くことをオススメします。

The end of a lovely nature walk. The kappa bridge has a beautiful view of the mountain and the area is super photogenic with the clear blue waters flowing down into the river.

The bridge itself is not what you come to see, its the view from the bridge, which is stunning. Kamikochi is well worth a visit. Try to avoid weekends if you can.

A beautiful place to be, with a lot of tourists.

This bridge is probably pretty overrated, but once ur in Nagano its one of the rare places to go to.The view and clear water is great, thats not up for discussion. But to get there is quite a pain in the arse. First you go by car to the nearest parking lot which is the Sawando one. There you pay 700Yen for the day and than you go by bus (no reservation required just buy the ticket therefor 2400yen roundtrip to Kamikochi.Its just a long way until your there, thats to be considered.Otherwise, it can be a great adventure especially if you go hiking! It can get quite cold there so watch out.

初めてゴールデンウィークに上高地を訪問。未だ外国人少ないので以前の混雑はありません。上高地は、避暑、キャンプ、登山のベースとして何度も来ていますが、晴れれば、空の青と穂高の雪、森の緑とグリーンの梓川のコントラストが美しいです。5月でも天候によっては冬のように寒く、雪までチラついていました。次回は久しぶりに満天の星を観に小梨平で泊まりたいですね。

Its a magical place to start the trails.

Definitely lives up to the hype. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and you could lose track of time appreciating it. The bridge itself fits right in and amplifies the beauty of everything around it. A must-see for sure.

Super cool view point.You can have river fun with your family and friends.To access this place is really hard/ terrible.If u go by bus you can directly goto main destination point from tokyo/ Shinagawa or Kyoto, Osaka and many more places. But last return bus is around 4.40pm. If u missed it u have to take taxi to main bus stop or train station. It cost around 4600¥ or more.Worst case is if u go by your own vehicle, you need to park it way before the sight and need to take bus to goto sight. It cost around 2800¥ for two way. Last return bus is at 4.40pm. If you missed it you need to take taxi.I have no idea why they have such a system.When u reach the sight bus stop you need to walk 300m to goto bridge. From that point you can go few directions. 16km mountain hike or 3.5 km to Pond.You need to careful from Monkeys and 🐻. Not much recommended.

Really beautiful place, right at the start of the trails near the hotels / lodges so its much busier here but its a great spot to just kind of take everything in and relax.
