Kantrida Beach in Rijeka

In the hot day, just this beach ⛱ was wonderful 👏

beach is ok, but not the greatest in the area.the lack of restaurants and beach bars is a big minus( only one)

Rijeka is a big city built on the "walls of mountains". The beaches are full of people. The Old Town is nice but expensive. This city is for families who like quiet places.

Bad overcrowded beach with not pleasant sea bottom to foot.

City beach, nothing special. Doesn’t worse to go there by car. Worse to find any other good beach out of the city.

Nice beach for swimming and spotting fish, but not for getting food. It can take up to 2 hours to get a drink or a snack

Big free parking is a big plus. Very rocky shore but the water is great, very clean.There is also a special area to take your dog :)

Stone Beach which is perfect if you dont like having sand all around your belongings.Theres a bar nearby with reasonable prices.

The most friendly and accessible beach in the city. Free toilets and showers are located here also. And the most important one — beach bar is available too.

A beach with rocks, clean and peacefull. Not so big. There are toiletts and changing rooms but seems that no one use them or knew they exist. Water is very clean. You can buy water for 12 or 60 kuna depends how big. Chairs rental is 100kuna. Parking is 4 kuna pro hour. Bus stop is close.

A very nice although man made beach in Rijeka.It was made to fit more people on the beach here while the Rijeka pools were being redone.

We walked there from the center of Rijeka about two hours but it was worth it. I am sure that this is the best beach in this region.

Its very nice in the evening when there are not that many people, yet also theres not a lot of space. Youll still love it if you want to see the sunset with your significant other.

I went several times and at different times of the day during July and it was really great. There was a big slide, diving blocks, a bar, a volleyball pitch, trampolines, ramp going down to the shore so makes it wheel chair friendly, the water isnt cold and the rocks are really pretty and there are lots of fishes and if you walk down the car park you can find quite spots on the rocks also the showers have drinkable water so you can refill your bottles. I do recommend bringing a parasol especially on busy days as there isnt a lot of shade.

The water is clean, but the beach is only stones, no sand there. So sad...

Nice when not overcrowded during the summer season

Ok,I was just passing througt-going in Italy-,and the main reason was a quick walking with Levistraus,my family teckel.So,I look for a beach that allow pets entrance,and the closer place from my one night accomodation was this beach.About this beach,nice view in top,short distance to the seara and vertical clean place.The entrance isnt quite simple,a lot of one way streets are going to this beach car parking.

One of the city beaches on wich working locals take afterwork rest and swimming. Graviting from Mlaka to Zamet if they dont want go further puble beaches (on East-Pećine or West-Bivio otherwise spread your towels on concrete shore or big rocks :Nowdays looks very nice. Done enough for quality od this beach during past years. Im happy that you may find parking around and walk, run, play ball, have a lot of simpe activities around on. Memories. Most dynamic city beach erea. You can bring dog (and after poop staff!). Out od season time, you can take a rest here, have conversation, walk, bring own meal -bring ID card, worm clothes, blanket, and dont be too loud All night. City bus station is max 4minutes away. Afordable restorans and Bakery.

Very unique stadium carved out of the the side of the mountain in Kantrida on the sea with an amazing view and atmosphere. Its a shame the local football team has changed stadium as this one is truly one of a kind. Brilliant track and grass, very accessible from the city centre ~10 minute drive.

A cute little beach! Beach shoes needed but not a must! Slippers will also do! Great clear, crisp water. Parking very near and beachers come and go so waiting is not a problem! Enjoy!

Too many people, even in the morning. Not much beach and the water had at the surface some kind of oil. Its a rock beach, which means it has no sand. The water is really clear.

Very small pebble stone beach. Nothing really special and nothing really wrong with it, but leaves you with a feeling of wanting something more. It has a fresh water shower to get rid of the salt water after bathing. Bathing shoes are recommended.

First time I see a beach made of stones. Where I traveled before were all with sand. I also liked the stadium near the beach a lot. The fact that the dogs were not allowed on the beach, but it was full of dogs and the owners didnt clean after the dogs and the fact that you have to watch your every step not to ruin your shoes ruined a little the experience.

There is only one restaurant nearby, but almost always full. The sea is clear though and not crowded.

Great beach, with beach bar that goes well into the evening, music and lots of locals. Beach stretches for along the coast, several entrance points, some more secluded

Excellent beach for a "fast" swim. Good, solid clear sea water. Only 2 hours from capital Zagreb. Highly recommended.

Beautiful beach with clean water however there are many freshwater springs so swimmer beware.

Went before sunset, stayed past midnight. Must visit.

The sun sets behind the beach but the colours are amazing against the islands on the horizon :)
