Absolutely beautiful
I have hiked all over Africa and Europe and this remains one of my favourites. Would definitely do them again and recommend them to everyone
MoreOne of the most beautiful national parks I have ever layed my eyes upon. We were here in autumn so the place is absolutely beautiful. I have three recommendations on where you should visit:the sarnia skala mountain top, as it has amazing views over the entire park as it is in the center of the national park. The Morskio oko lake. This is the most famous location and is also next to the highest mountain in poland (Rysywhich is climable but only without snowboots between june-august, definitely a mountain i will climb when i come back.Siklawica Waterfall, this waterfall is beautiful and has very fresh drinkable spring water. You can easily visit these places in 2 days, location 1 and 3 can easily be combined. I will be back in the future, definitely a place you should see atleast once in your life. In autumn its less busy than in summer I have heard, and you got many beautiful colours.
MoreI took a bus from the center to the entrance of the park (15 zlotys). The ticket to the the part is 8 zlotys for adults. There’s a small shop at the beginning. You can go up to the lake either on foot (2-2.5 hrsor horse (50 zlotys)The view is incredible. The trees, there are deers, squirrels, lots of fungi (red, orange, green)At the top there’s also a shop and hotel. The view is incredible. It’s different in every season. You can go down again on foot or horse.Highly recommend
MoreAdorable place! 😍Highly recommended!
Absolutely stunning and lovely. Extremely great and diverse hiking trails. The views are breathtaking. Only con: thousands of people per day - be prepared for a crowd.
MoreMust visited place for the tourists. I really enjoyed a lot. Specifically when I was walking on the mountains, the sceneries of both side was eye catching. Once I reached the Moriske Oko, I was mesmerised.
MoreVery nice place, but very busy in the weekend when you attend the lift. Maybe make a reservation before waiting a long time in the line.
MoreVery nice mountain views and hikes. Deducting 1 star because of its overly touristic character. If you are looking for quiet mountain hikes, you are in the wrong place. Also, the many "private parking facilities", exploiting tourists and giving each person an individual price... are a turn-off. Slowakian side of the mountain range might be better on this.
MoreUnfortunately I picked a busy time of the year to visit it was so busy you just couldnt enjoy or take in the beautiful place. Dont go in summer!
MoreNice place to hike. We are not young and athletic, but it is quite easy to walk stony path up and come by cable car back.
MoreWow what an amazing experience 2 and half hour walk on a road up to the most amazing place straight off Instagram if you ask me fresh mountain water running down the side plenty of stops to rest and refresh your legs .horse and carriage aswell if you dont want to walk it but well with it
MoreOne can experience a beautiful national park here. Expext long queues at some of the entrances.
MoreIf you want to get a ~5 hours of walking with nice views, then I suggest you look for route to Morskie Oko.
MoreI still can’t believe that we could not go for hiking with my dog (with leash). Definiltely not recommend to come here, for sure i will not come back but rather go to Slovakian part of Tatra.
MoreVery beautiful lake between the mountains. It is once in a lifetime experience. If you go to poland, must visit Tatry national park.
MoreThis look how kung fu panda feels
Mega
The view is so amazing!! Its a very beautiful place that you should visit if you are in Poland!!But, to queue in line for the ticket of Kolejka Linowa (Kasprowy Wierchwasnt a nice experience. I have to queue for more than 4 hours. And, fortunately its in summer.Enthusiasm of the visitors are good. Dont make the visitors disappointed about the queue. Because, I saw a lot of baby and children were crying to wait for a long time. They are so tired.
MoreBicycle paths to Kalatówki are absolutely NOT destined for the bikes, even mtbs. Rough surface, very uphill, which is even hard for to walk. Looks like they only put signs with bike on it as a prank for anyone, who wants to ride in the Tatras.
MoreBeautiful mountains and lakes in this national park. Lots of hiking trails. Beautiful views. Not very crowded. We had been to Five polish pond valley hiking trails. It started with a very steep climb and we enjoyed every bit of it. We need an entrance ticket for the national park. We stayed in Zakopane which was very near to the park. We started early in the morning @6. It was completely foggy in the morning.
MoreAmazing!
Beautiful mountains on the quaint border of Poland and Slovakia. I think i prefer the Slovakia side but both are amazing!
MoreBreathtaking views, lots of different trails with different difficulties kinda difficult to catch up with that too. The only problem here is the parking and traffic. So crowded in summer. Apart from this, it is a best place for trekking in summer.
MoreLong walk on asphalt before hike starts. Parking spots way to far from the park entrance.
MoreAmazing views, well organized and lots of levels of trail difficulties available.
MoreRapidly changing weather during summertime made the trip even more powerful and inspiring. A bit challenging trip to Gąsiennicowa. Worth it for bonding time with family. Recommended by #mentalproworldschooling 🗺Martyna Krawczyk#mentalpro ❤️Personal Development Mentor
MoreAmazing experience.Tatra National Park is a National Park located in the Tatra Mountains in Tatra County, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship—Małopolska region, in central-southern Poland. The Park has its headquarters in the town of Zakopane.
MoreDefinitely should add this place into your travel plan when you in Krakow!
There are some good things and some not so much:1. The nature is beautiful, there is definitely what to see;2. Trails are marked everywhere so its hard to get lost;3. More or less you can reach most of the peaks and with no big preparation;4. Trails marking have colors, but they mean nothing, nor the length nor the difficulty, NOTHING;5. Some of the trails are not marked in any special way, but they are really dangerous, where you have to climb almost vertically holding on the chain (definitely not for everyone);6. Lack of information, especially in English - we asked for map in information center and we got it for free but only in Polish, or we found out that one trail is closed only when we reached it, there was no sign, not info before it;7. Some trails have moving direction, but is hard to understand why, because there was basically no places where you cant pass by each other.Overall in straight 4 days we visited most of the places, with one drive up with cable car and a lot of walking, but there are at least for two more days.
MoreBeautiful park and surrounding areas, full of tourists in the peak seasons
Beautiful park to go on a hike, nature walk, or bike ride.
Amazing place..feeling like u r in swiss...Awsm view.best atmosphere and freezy place 😍😍😍😍 This park is a beautiful place to go on a hike, nature walk, or bike ride. The mountains here are stunning, and there are an assortment of trails to explore in this well kept and well preserved park. Loved it! Theres an Express booth to skip the line (and you are going to want to do that). The extra money you pay gives you extra time on the mountain -- well worth it. I love mountains. Im in Poland. I travelled a bit visited mountains on 5 continents. Tatrys are always special. Love these mountains. The nature there. Streams and perfect vegetation. Blueberries everywhere. Visit 5 stawow polskich from Lysa Polana. Very nice and accessible hike through the valley. Go bit higher from Schronisko 5 stawow polskich toward either Zawrat or Krzyzne, or also toward Morskie oko and you will get the best views. Really worth it. Want to come back whenever I think about this area.
MoreHigh Tatras are great, we love it here, lots of possibilities to spend time with family in nature, nice views, also indoor activities, when weather doesnt cooperate. Especially we like hiking as family together and there are lots of trails with different difficulty
MoreSince I live in this area I must say it is the most beautiful place in Slovakia. And I dont mean just the High Tatras, which are by the way too overcrowded with tourists, but also The Western Tatras which are in my opinion the best mountains for hiking. Not many people go there since it is not a popular destination and the views there are amazing along with gorgeous hikes and peaks.
MoreIts not a big deal. The look out tower does not worth the price I think. And you have to go 1.4 km walk and go up to the tower and then the same way back because the exit point is the same point as the entry. It would be great if people wouldnt have to walk the same walk just to get out.
MoreVery good place for walking, nice nature, high mountains... View like from fairytale. But you need a right shoes, terrain is stony.
MoreWe went from Stara Lesna to Hrebienok by train, and enjoyed quite easy trek, red marked, to Skalnate pleso, via Reinerova chata, Zamkovskeho chata and Skalnata chata. On each of them with small refreshment. As the peak season started already, (29.6.), trails were quite crowded, but not too disturbing yet. Services were good and weather was excellent. From Skalnate pleso we took cabine lift down to Tatranska Lomnica (85€ for 3 adults and 3 kids). From there by train back to the car parked in Stary Smokovec. Parking was 6€ for whole day. Really nice day in Hihgh Tatras.
MoreEasy to plan your walks on the webb before going in to the wilderness. Great viewpoints and very nice hostels with superb food plus you will meet at lot of lovely people in the area.
MoreBeautiful nature. They don’t allow the cars inside the park and I loved that. It was safe to walk, the trail to the lakes isn’t easy but it totally worth it. We saw few animals and spent a wonderful day there
MoreSimply majestic. Great views all along trails. To enter natinal park you have to buy ticket. You can walk to morskie oko lake which is easier way and takes around 2 hrs the other lake you can visit is czarty staw which is more difficult way but its worth it. All along trails you will get to seee beautiful views, small lakes of water flowing from different directions. On the way to morskie oko you will have 2 places where you can buy snacks and coffee. When you will reach to morskie oko after 2 hrs the view will make you forget your 2 hrs walk its majestic. Theres a good resturant there where you can have lunch snacks coffee etc. If you dnt like to walk there are horse carriages which takes people to top and back to starting point as well. They charge less when coming back Because its easier for horses to come back as going up is difficult.
MoreHands down the most beautiful National park I have visited! Breathtaking views and multiple mountains to climb any time of the years. Very well taken care of. Great for beginners, amateurs or professionals.
MoreOnly saw a tiny percentage of it, but it was well worth it. Damn, Morskie Oko is so beautiful.
MoreVery beautiful park.. nice view.. nice shops and there is a restaurant but did not try it.There is also a cable car and it was not so crowded.Highly recommend to go there and enjoy the mountains and the green
MoreMy favourite place for hiking
One of the most beautiful places in the world, but bring your serious boots if you want to get up their trails. Beautiful in fall! View From Hotel Diamonds. Not bad for under 20 bucks a night in October!
MoreCalm and peacefull place, nice scenery for a long walks... Suitable also for families with childrens..
MoreBeautiful place. Stunning views and great trails. Lots of places to see and do you could spend a decent amount of time here. Transport is well linked with the option of a €3 travel card for tourists so can manage without a car.
MoreGreat nature, breathtaking views and and amazing experience. Definitely a place that is underselling itself. Customer as bad as it could be in East Europe - not something I am proud of in my country.
MoreBeautiful and awesome place in Poland. All of people can find trail according to their capabilities
