One of the most amazing places to visit in shyamnagar. In december - january month the park commitee organize a normal mela and a boi mela. There is a large statue of Rabindranath Tagore, from there it got its name. Beside the river Ganga it is one of the most beutiful place to visit and important picnic spot. Must visit if you are around

One of the most beautiful places to visit in shyamnagar. In the riverbank of Ganga it is situated. There is a large statue of Rabindranath Tagore inside the park. During poush mela and boi mela the park becomes more and more beautiful every evening. One of the must visit place if you are around.

Its in front of the shyamnagar Kalibari and also besides.ganga. The place is very calm but apart from the temple area the river bank is very dirty. It needs to be cleaned and also its our duty to maintain the cleanliness. The ganga ghaat is good place to sit for a while.

This temple is mainly dedicated to Mata Kali and Bhagwan Shiva but you can find beautiful Radha-Krishna temple and other deities too in the premises. Thakur Ram Prasad of Halishahar had also worshiped here.

There is an auditorium named after femous Bengali poet and Novel prize winner R.N.Tagore and which was earlier historically femous for Sanskrit college. There is also located femous Brahmamayee Kali temple which was established by one of the R N Tagores forefathers.
