Really great. Lots of super history. Very worth the visit. Kids would love it.
Very informative, got a map of town and of we went.
The team here really helped make our trip memorable. The package we booked gave us plenty to do without feeling rushed and the self guided walking tour was awesome. Highly recommend contacting them if youre heading to Kal for a holiday!P.S. the hotel across the road does an amazing chicken parmi. Get the Aussie one. You wont regret it!
Suggest doing this tour on arrival in Kalgoorlie, it really helped me get my bearings and understand more of whatโs on offer here. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend for any age group.
A great source of information. V knowledgeable staff
Eggs Benedict were sensational and thickshake was one of the best๐๐๐

Amazing! Ladies are so friendly and willing to help. Fills you in on all the fun activities happening around the area and are very thorough to make sure you understand.
Brilliant. The girls in there are so informative and very helpful and lovely. They made our trip to Kalgoorlie that much better.
Excellent - got great advice and help from a young lady here. She gave us maps and showed us where to find things on the map. Really helpful.
They were very good, got a couple of hat pins & a Nulabour plan map & petrol stations paper work there which will be very helpful.

Classic building friendly helpful staff.Adele will sing for you if you ask.
Helpful staff, good selection of items to choose from. Has a book exchange.
Well set out and a wealth of knowledge. Friendly staff and a well stocked souvenir shop.
Excellent service and advice from Gabrielle who gave us the welcome news that the road to Lake Ballard to see the sculptures on the lake was ok for 2WD vehicles and it was only 32 km (returnof good dirt road. Made our day and we enjoyed the visit there taking it easy in our Sprinter Campervan over some parts that were washed away by recent rain but clearly marked. Be prepared for millions of flies and make sure you have a net over your face - best investment we made! Visited Kalgoorlie 4 years ago and the service at the Visitor Centre was terrific then as it is now. One of the best in the country and we have seen them all over! Such enthusiastic, cheerful and welcoming staff. A model for other Visitor Centres everywhere! Well done guys. Keep up the joy and smiles for Kalgoorlie.
Staff are amazing. We booked all our tours with their help or information. Take their tram tour, especially if you dont have a car to get around.
The staff at the visitor centre were great, friendly and helpful. We booked and took the tram tour and canโt recommend it, it was not very good, the driver didnโt give much information about the sites and stop points, yet pointed out every mural in town which was of no interest to anyone on board and obvious to anybody. The engine noise drowned out what little information he gave on the stops and virtually no history. The bus ride apart from being noisy was jerky and not smooth driving. I do recommend the mine tour we booked down the road.
Our guide Tim was the best historian tour guide Ive ever had his wealth of knowledge wit and passion was simply what made this a very enjoyable visit and would highly recommend when in Kalgoorlie
We visited this centre several times in February 2020 during our stay in Kal and always the staff were really helpful especially Gabrielle. At one time even providing a hammer when our companions mobility scooter needed slight attention!! Located inside a lovely older building with loads of information easily available. Plenty of small items to purchase as gifts and mementos for those of us who have limited space available. Well done to all the staff and keep up the good work.
Staff were friendly and helpful, provided us with a map and a list of things to see and do during our stay.
Good well stocked and helpful info centre. Only negative is to get info on the city walking trail you have to hire the audio tour at $15 each. Dont begrudge the $15 but did not want the audio thing. They would not sell me the brochure.
Excellent staff and information. They are full of ideas as to where to go. BUT i cannot believe thay are selling and have a big displsy of products made in Britian what the!
Very helpful staff and an interesting heritage building. Highly recommended as a first port of call if visiting Kalgoorlie.
The staff working here are amazing! So very helpful.
A very nice place. The young girl who served us had a broken foot & on crutches. But she could not do enough for us. Rang the people to book us on a flight to see the SUPER PIT from the air. We see her on the advert for the info centre & feel so happy for her. We have such happy memories of Kalgoolie.
Went in there today to look at some maps and things to do around Kalgoorlie. A bright and bubble young lady in a moon boot named Maddie was an absolute delight. Full of knowledge and happy to share it. Made our day to see such a lovely person so willing to help out. Keep up the great work Maddie. You sold us Kalgoorlie.
Full of all sorts of knicknacks relating to the region and obviously gifts pertaining to the gold industry and a few local artists, the tourist centre is manned by helpful people. I would love to see a little bit more regarding local walking maps and the history of each Hotel attached to some sort of guide as what I found by visiting this region was the amazing history relating to the township with the diversity of hotels built in the boom times. There is a self guided tour of Kalgoorlie Boulder you are able to purchase with headphones but a small booklet containing that information would also be handy.
Great centre. A cool, quiet break from the heat. Well set out, free WiFi, good range of information, very helpful staff, highlighting some must dos for our stay. Booked the tour of the bordello through them. Good swap library with lots of novels. Connected museum and old town theatre was also worth an hour or two.
We did the audio walking tour through the historic areas of Boulder and Kalgoorlie. My husband and I had individual earphones making the $15 to hire the recording excellent value for money. I suggest this tour be one of the first activities when hitting town as it provides an historical context to the place. The hire is for 24 hours so you can take your time. Or the type can be completed in about an hour and a half if you need to hurry.
The staff that work here go above and beyond, listening to our interests, taking note of the.fact we have three kids and suggesting things to do for the day, basically giving us an itinerary! If not for her we wouldnt have known about the kids park the is awesome but just not known about!
The history of kalgoorlie portrayed within the building as easy to digest snapshots, plus the stunning seating area looking over the stage, well worth a look.
