We had sea bass fish plate cooked in the oven. The taste was excellent and the waiter was very helpful and friendly. However, the price was relatively high.

Booked this place to celebrate my birthday 🎂 for Sunday night . There were about three tables with clients through the whole evening. But even though it took time for waiters to take order to bring simple drinks . You ask wine to one waiter another one will bring you water instead . Eventually we got food and all dishes were cold , tasty but cold . That taking to consideration that main dish at the place about 25 euro. My friends baked me a cake as a birthday present, it took an hour of our time after dinner and spoiled mood that we can’t blow the candle - we need a food certificate from health authorities. What a pace ! What happened to normal people??? Waters don’t speak the language ( half of my friends were English, the other hslf Spanishgave the most ignorant service. What an upsetting birthday.

Very chill place to hang out in the evening

Simply the best place to enjoy an evening out in Malaga. We enjoyed four drinks and a Shisha for two people during our holiday trip. Is it more costly than other places? Yes, for a Shisha you pay 30 € vs. 15-20 € compared to other places. Is it worth it? Yes. The atmosphere is amazing. You get to chill under Palm trees on cozy cushions and seats while a DJ is playing Lounge/Club music which affects the lights around the palm trees. The Drinks are creative and as you can see from the pictures also nice to look at. 😉 Staff is very friendly, we were greeted in English immediately so I assume our outfits gave away that we are visiting from another country. 🤣

The waitresses work very slowly and rude and seem unmotivated to do their job. Most of the waitresses pretending to work while other people are waiting to be served. Waiters forget what was asked for. Male waiters work a little better, they dont ignore when asked. The place is actually nice and has potential if the service would be fixed and the music would be appropriate to the place instead of the pop music that everyone is tired of and doesnt feel like youre in Spain.

Very slow service, 30min (including a reminderuntil they took our order. Rude and unmotivated waiters and waitresses. They didnt seem to care at all.

This was really beautiful place with nice music. Unfortunately they scammed us and thats why cant recommend anyone to go in this restaurant. We asked two different waiters about the price of a cava glass. Both said 3 euros. We asked because in drink menu it was 10€ and that is very very expensive in Malaga (usually about 3-4 euros/glass). They both said that it is actually 3 euros. The difference was so big that I checked it many times for our own waitress and she always said its 3 €. That was the reason why we stayed there and took alltogether 6 cavas. Later on when we got the check we had unpleasant suprise that they charged us 60 euros for 6 glass of cava. I went to complain about it and the manager instantly said that the price is wrong. Shampagne is 10€ but cava is 7,5€! What?? New price again. But still not 3€ that they told us. So I spoked to the manager and told who said us this 3€ price. This waitress told for the manager that she gave us the drink list. Well that is true. But neither she or her waiter collegue didnt tell their boss that they both also said that the price was 3€. Unfortunatelly I came to the conclusion that this was totally intentional way to cheat tourists.

We had a glass of sangria here on the terrace. Established at the boulevard with the park on the north and the sea in the south. Sangria was good and service was quick.

Stunning promenade fairy tail like

Friendly people but quality of the wine was really bad. It’s just an expensive tourist trap. I also had a beer here and that was okay. Also be aware of scammers walking onto the terrace. They pretend to be the waitress and then try to get your money. They wore similar outfits and even used a black bill folder to pretend they were working there. We had to send them away aggressively, but were surprised that the “real waitress” were not taking action to protect their guests. My friend is a local and I was happy that she knew what was going on. Protect your belongings when you go here or avoid this place

Waited more than 10 mins to being served. Once we got the menu, we waited another 10, but nobody came to take the orders(drinks!!)Waiters were not so keen to please any customers. Rubbish service

One cocktail took 30 min and a reminder to arrive.Management does not seem to care about their clients much. Overall an unpleasant environment.The only good thing is the desert which was great. But everything else is rather disappointing.

Nice bar at Málaga harbour, a good place to watch the passersby, while enjoying a drink. The sangria us to be recommended. Friendly service from the staff.

A bit overpriced for the portions you get. The salmon tartare was not really flavourful. The oxtail croquetes were decent and the fries were really good. I wouldnt come back because the menu was quite limited.Summary: overpriced, small portions and not the taste is not that good.

Excellent service, by the very friendly staff. Perfect position for, "people watching" as they make their way home. Generous portions of gin and very reasonably priced. I cant wait to try the food,it looked fantastic. Go and spoil yourselves. Bonnie and Clyde.

Beautiful port, I cut one star for that it can be a little more clean next time I will visit this location.

The drinks were pretty good and it was nice to sit on some low cushions overlooking the port in late afternoon in the shade. They have done a nice job of making it look like a sort of Arabian tent zone. And they do shisha which thankfully no one was smoking as it was empty. But they had the music on full volume and pumping out of massive speakers so it was slightly odd trying to shout at each other just 30cms away. This loud music is supposed to attract people I guess. We just wanted a seat as we were tired. Since then weve walked past a few times and seen it empty with music on full blast. Maybe its popular late night? If they turned the music down a bit they might get more customers in the afternoon. Might be worth a try.

Stopped here recently for a snack with a friend. Very impressed by the safety measures taken to ensure guests can have a safe and comfortable meal. Wait staff super professional and sanitation conscious. Full face guards, temperature check at the door, hand sanitizer everywhere, and minimal interaction with tables. We were pleasantly surprised to actually find ourselves enjoying a meal out in these times of covid. Highly recommend for good food, nice atmosphere, and peace of mind!

The decoration is nice and the location is supposedly the best but somehow they must be short of money. One waitress seriously working, serving more than 15 tables on her own. No wonder the waiting time is over 20 minutes. What a shame. No wonder the expression “quemao” is in the order of the day down here once summer is over.

Nice place at first sight but so disappointing when you realize where you are once seated:1. Smiley waiter to hide that he didn’t understand what you said or barely.2. TWENTY minutes to get an espresso !And when you dare telling the waiter that it’s a bit long(in a polite way).... they DONT accept the remark and answer: its because of the bar !Don’t go there except if you have 50 minutes to drink an espresso.

Beautiful place and great decor, very relaxing... however the staff is extremely slow and does not understand customer requests. They could pay attention to details like caps from beer on the carpet by the bar. Improve the staff and it will be 5stars

What a perfect place to stop in and grab a drink and eat some great food. Being port side and having one of the best people watching terraces, makes this a must not miss Malaga destinations. The staff are very friendly and attentive as well!

Super slow for what you get. We only wanted one cocktail and that’s what we got - no offers of a menu, everything took a long time. Better places around but quite a cute vibe there.

Keep in mind before you read this review; i dont mind paying 10 euros for a cocktailSo here is the thing; cocktails.. 5/5. Absolutely amazing. Freshly burned Rosemary... you name it and it was there. However... with an empty glass you had to wait for a new one until you ask yourself. Mind yourself... This was not after 10 min of flagging down a waiter, but after like 15 mins of waiting. It got so bad i had to whistle on my fingers. They told me i couldnt do that. Normally i could understand since i worked in restaurants and i know what im talking about, but this was really bad.All in all; cocktails amazing, but waiters very, very lacking.By the way, we wanted to smoke some sisha... It was 30 euros. What the hell. Hella expensive. I mean, we come from the Netherlands, everything is more expensive in the netherlands, and its minus 10 euros there, what the hell were they thinking at kaleido. Happy we could share it with some friendly Germans.Would i go here again? Thats the problem. Probably i would.

First of all the waiter took the order from people that sat after us, then we waited for a long time for everything and we have a 3 yo child. When the food arrived I realized that the octopus I ordered has been dead for a very long time as it was hard to chew and the mash... I do better one at home. Super disappointed for €17, bad dish, my wives noodles were ok, but nothing special ( if they cant do noodles I would be searching for 0 stars ), dont be fooled by the looks of this place... aint worth it. I worked in many restaurants from London to Spain and Gibraltar...two waiters on a busy terrace is a recipe for disaster if the waiters dont have that attention to detail. Gracias is not enough when they dont even make eye contact. Wishing a good day to your customers is always a plus, while looking at them actually and not the other table. Investing money for a good looking restaurant without the service and kitchen...

The service extremely slow. The waitresses dont pay attention to the customers. They prepared our cocktails after 30 minutes after we arrived and afterwards they let them on the bar until the ice almost melt completely. When I got up to the waitress at the bar to ask for our drinks she was too busy with other drinks for customers that arrived after us. The worst service!

Location:The location and music are really great.However, the toilet was one of the dirtiest I have ever seen. The floor was covered with urine and they did not bother to clean it up.Drinks:The cocktails were super low quality but very high priced.My margarita clearly didn’t contain fresh lime juice and not a single drop of alcohol. Same with my boyfriend’s Long Island ice tea - no taste of alcohol. How is that even possible with a drink that supposedly contains 5 different alcohols?For 9€ per drink you should be expecting more but sadly in Kaleido you don’t get what you paid for.Service:The service was super slow and didn’t pay much attention to the customers.When we complained about the drinks, the waiter kindly let the bartender remake them. At first we were happy about it, but they tasted exactly the same.Conclusion:Don’t go there. Cocktails are overpriced, service is slow and bad. Toilet is super dirty.

Im so confused with all the terrible reviews for this place. The location and atmosphere are fantastic. The outdoor patio is covered in astroturf and is super dog friendly. The waitress immediately offered water for our three dogs when we visit on a Tuesday evening around 9pm. Our waitress was fantastic. She was learning English, and knew enough to communicate effectively.The menu is definitely NOT small as one review mentioned. They have everything from starters, salads, fried foods, fish, meats and desserts. We had the duck and bacon burger, which isnt technically a burger. Its more of a sandwich on a hamburger bun but was delicious and tasty. We also tried the chicken fingers with jalepeno mayo. These are the size of chicken nuggets not strips and are addicting. We also decided to try the beef cheek glaze with truffle puree. The beef melts in your mouth and you can cut it with a spoon its so tender! I would come back to this restaurant over and over to try more items on the menu. If you have dogs or love outdoor seating, give this place a try. Dont judge it based off the one star reviews because it doesnt deserve that at all.
