Sure it is good if you go fish, stay away from mest dishesSauce bearnaise was horrible, pepper sky was good but without peppar, medium rare steak was medium well and so on

Fabulous view, great service, clean and amazing food. Small kids menu which our kids loved, once they were done with their food you couldn’t tell that there had been any food on the plate.I loved the smoked shrimps.

6/5 Shrimp sandwitch is worth flying from Poland and back. It was most fulfilling meal I had in long time. No exaggeration. I waited for shrimps this quality for 7 years.

Kajplats 9 is a great restaurant located just by the shore of lake Mälaren. The food is based on good produce, often from near by. Always well prepared and very tasty. Recommend a visit!

definitely have the herring!! or the pasta spectacular flavours!! they should warn you though that the lobster and the crab are served cold...literary on ice. still, highly recommended.

For sure to recommend this spot if you ever make it to Västerås Sweden, the food amazing, the service was spectacular and super great people. I don’t have a picture of the food on this trip but I had the steak with potatoes, amazing.BN

Great resturant experience overall. We went not booked and managed to get the last table available lunch time. I would suggest to book in advance since it seems rather popular. We were greeted with soup and bread. The service was fast and they gave great recommendations on drinks fitting the food. We had steak tartar and seafood soup which both tasted great, was filling and left us happily satisfied. This resturant is on the more expensive side but considering sevice and food I would definitely recommend for the occasion. We sat outside and had the port view to look at so no complains there. Its a bit of a distance(10min walking from the trainstationbut its not hard to find.

Really nice restaurant- not cheap, but absolutely worth the invest. You sit directly in view of the marina and can watsch the boats. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. We have had various meals with different flavor and taste - fish or burger - all was excellent!

Great food in Västerås harbour. If you really like lobsters and sea food so this is the place.

I really like this place. My biggest concern, they make it to modern to quickly. The view is nice, the drinks good (didnt try the food). Biggest issue, hearing the waitresses explain the QR code ordering system over and over again. I personally liked this set-up. But hearing the staff constantly explain this to all the 50+ was both interuptive and annoying. Explain it ones, if they dont understand it, please give them a normal menue.

Love this place. The food was lip smackering. Definitely recommend.

The best seafood in Västerås, great venue and amazing location especially in the summer

Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. We waited 40 minuted for the food and when we asked what was taking so long we were told that there was a mixup with their QR code order system and that our order was not prepared yet. To top it off, no one apologized or looked like they gave a damn about the mixup. The food was good, but nothing special (entrecôte and herring)

A nice recommended outdoor restaurant to eat at or hang out at with a beautiful view towards Mälaren! Ordered a very well tasting and refreshing mojito. Its quite a crowded restaurant and harbour in the evening. The harbour is also suitable for a nice walk!

Beautiful and place during summer! The location could not be better. Food is on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

This place always deliveres when it comes to taste. I had the "Toast Skagen" and "Wallenbergare". The toast was so good it didnt seem too overpriced even at the astronomical price of 195 SEK (or abt 20€for one piece of toast. The Wallenbergare was also very tasty and well seasoned. I will definitely visit more times.

i have eaten here a few times and each time the atmosphere is so cozy and amazing. The staff is completely wonderful and superfunny and THE FOOD. I honestly dont think you can find better fish in Västerås!!

The food is nice. You can easily tell that the ingredients are really fresh. However, they are too salty for Asian people.

This place is awesome! We ate the lunch special two days in a row. I got the flank steak, which was fantastic. My wife had the flank steak and mussels. The mussel plate is big, with large flavorful mussels. We also liked the fries and bearnaise sauce. The staff is very accommodating for kids. I highly recomend it.

Awesome food and a great location. If you eat here dont order meat dishes. Seriously just dont. Order their seafood dishes, its what they specialize in and what that they do best.The service is also phenomenal. The waiters are always pleasant, happy and good at recommending drink and food combinations.

Restaurant located by the shore, where main focus is on fish and seafood. My main course was good but not extraordinary. The dessert was tasty and intuitive, and our waitress was experienced keeping everything on track.

If you want to feel welcome and enjoy excellent service this is the place to go.Here you can sit down and relax and enjoy your meal. They never rush you but they always keep an eye on you to make sure you are ok.The staff is very service minded and has great knowledge about the food.It is located just by the water in the centre of Västerås and the view is beautiful specially during the summer.Ive been here a couple of times and the food is really delicious. The focus is fish and seafood and I really recommend to have any of those dishes but specially the seafood risotto, exquisite! However they can also make a juicy steak or burger if you are in to that.They seem to be very picky on the ingredients serving local meat and fish from lakes around Sweden or the Nordic countries.They also have a child menu with simpler taste meaning same good food but child friendly.The wine list is long and seem to have something for everyone. Only down side is the short list of beers, only two draught and a handful bottles.This is not the cheapest place but is totally worth the money. They simply know food and how to make it tasty.Every time Ive been here all tables has been occupied so I recommend to make a reservation.

Just so-so. I would say its over-priced for the quality of food and service. Especially service. Ive personally had a couple of bad experiences with the wait-staff here.

While in business travel, good local food and drink in a cosy place well situated on the lakes shore. The restaurant staff is friendly and helpful.

Total lack of service. After waiting 30 min to order one beer, our patience ran out. Considering their high prices, the service was not even close to match this. Go to the neighbouring restaurant instead.
