Small, unassuming Tibetan restaurant turning out popular momos (dumplings) & noodle dishes.
Honestly I have to say, this branch use to be the best dishes,Im since 2012 constomer, they bring their own mas ala from Tibet.but I dont know, they say that they gonna shut down this branch.soooo try the Besant nagar branch, they have all the dishes till now.
Ordered egg chowmin and chicken momos... The taste of both items was wow... Definitely will go again... Very limited menu.. Its a small place and you will definitely miss this place.. Many delivery orders.. I went there to actually get Thukpa and Mokthuk but unfortunately they have stopped for the past few months, so I have to contend with chowmin and momos... Definitely must try...
Best momo in the city! Momo sauce is out of this world.
Small restaurant, but yummy foodExcellent tasteGood service...All debit and credit are card acceptable
I dont know how they got this much good reviews. Very worst ambience and foul smell around. They gave chilli powder and water mix for momos instead of the usual chilli sauce/chutni. No proper handwash area.
We tasted veg chomien and veg momos along with a fruit beer.Chomien and Momos both were delicious and had good quantity with a fair priceOnly thing to improve would be shops ambience
Ive been going to this place for almost a decade. Good place for momos and chowmein. Their spicy sauce is the best and unique one in town. Much recommended place for Momos.
Momos and the spicy dip are undoubtedly an absolute delight.Favorite in town but they could do better on the ambience. For starters, fix the tap and get the water running.Limited seating, a bit congested. Claustrophobic can only opt for a takeaway 🤷🏻♀️But again, the BEST MOMOS in town!!
Visited this places aft months. The taste of the momos remains the same but u can avail only limited menu.. Many items are vanished..
The best momo in the town. No doubt about it. But the dining experience is zero. Prefer order online.
Have been a fan of Kailash Kutch for years but most of there dishes have been gradually decreasing and going extinct. They don’t serve beef and thukpa anymore. They only serve steamed moms , fried momos , dhangtuk and chow mein - I still consider their momos to be the best in Chennai (Also Naga Reju will be my next fav with their spicy dip **drooling** dhangtuk is oily but hey have some fun sometimes we all deserve it. Chow mein is also good.If your looking for good food definitely try this place without any second thoughts. people talk about ambiance ignore them. I support good food over ambianceAlso if you are looking for a wide variety of dishes you can check Naga Reju - this is just 5 mins away from Kailash kitchen located in the main road itself next to the junction
Highly disappointed!!! The shop doest serve Thukpa anymore. They say they stopped it long back. I have added the menu they serve right now. Interior can be way better. They are in the first step of the customer service; needs lot of improvement. Food is good. They have other branches in Anna nagar and besant nagar. Besant nagar serves Thukpa. This is just an another shop.
I discovered this place with my classmates in 2018 and we used to visit them on a monthly basis. They have a limited menu but the dishes are so damn good so you wont feel like going anywhere else.Only constraint is that the area is small and not much of seating arrangement. Just 4 tables in the room which will make you feel congested and a tiny fan at the corners. If you are someone who is used to high class cafe with excellent ventilation and ambience, then this is not the place for you but if you are a true foodie lover, do not miss this spot.
Best momos in the city.Works good for take aways.Dine-in facility is not the best.Momo Sa-Khang is the name board at the entrance..Try them you will enjoy.
One of the best place to explore 😜. My personal fav are streamed momos and cold noodles. Best momos we can get from Chennai ❤️ .Must recommend place to visit for best momos in city. Price is too low while compared with other shops in Chennai. Price and quality are best in Kailash kitchen for everyone.Must visit this place 👍
If youre a momo fan, and you havent been to Kailash, youre NOT a true momo fan. Only drawbacks are the unhygienic kitchen and the super small seating area, for which you need to wait a minimum of 1 hour to get your table. Nevertheless, this place serves the best momos in town for minimalistic prices. The cuisine is predominantly Tibetan, and a must try are the Dangthuk noodles. They also have a variety of other noodles , both veg and non veg, that is served in ample quantity for the lowest rates you can ever imagine. Best place to stop by at the end of the month - When your pockets get lighter, but your tummy, heavier and happier!
A great place to try out Tibetan food. i love momos and Chowmein.Place is too small. and you have to wait for your turn.but its worth to wait. Neat dining area with a lot of online orders coming in.
Ultimate momo, usual steam is very good 👍than fried momo.Less price, very good authentic taste.Prefer for take away, small place max of 16 to 20 people can sit
Best best place to have a momos in the city. And also try Dunthuk waiting for the food is worth to have these foods and also taste so so good.
The quantity of chowmein was good and the fried momos were superb. Good place for a evening snack.
This place is the best place in all over Chennai to avail tibatian dishes , the wait is allways more than 30-45 mins .But the wait is worth it!They also have take away option if you are not wanting to wait..
All time favourite - best in Chennaifor momos , chowmein and dhangdhuk ..spicy chutney is best one here
The tastiest momos I’ve ever tasted! The highlight is the chutney they give as a side. It was super spicy 🥵. Apart from momos, they sell Dangthuk (a kind of cold and spicy noodles). Prices in the medium range but completely worth it for the taste. The place will be hell crowded from the time they open until the closure for the day. They do online delivery in Dunzo.
Very congested outlet. There is only four tables and chairs. Severing hot and quickly. Momos tasted really good, nicely stuffed with veggies with spicy sauce at nominal price. Overall totally worth it.
Great place to try tasty, spicy momos in Chennai. Food is good, ambience is cool, but the location can be a bit surprising. We had a little bit of a problem to find the place in midday. Absolutely a must visit restaurant if you’re into Chinese and Thai food (mainly Momos, Thukpas and Noodles).
The place has amazing food, its tasty and spicy. The atmosphere is cool and well lit and has amazing service and really good response. It is a must visit place for food lovers. It is mostly very populated because its famous
Its a tiny place so its a little difficult to spot.Famous for their momos and the spicy chutney so obviously you should try it. The dont have much beverages or really anything else to offer but your visit for momos would be worth it.
Loved the momos. Both steamed and fried momos were awesome. It has 4 tables ( 4 seats in eachand the ambience is okayish. The dip is super spicy and tastes good.
Best Momo shop in Chennai. love their taste of momos. The chutny was bit lot spicy compared to other places. But still awesome. Place might not really be great but looks like their local common shop.
Their present menu are not upto the hype they have totally changed their menus only chicken nd veg available that to limited varietys the Taste was good thier spicy chutney was superb combo for Momos and chow mein was average dish
You never expect this place to be there where it is located. Only free items in the menu and I think thats there sucess.. food was absolutely amazing loved it. Economical. Neat dining area with a lot of online orders coming in
Probably the best momos in chennai! love their chilli chutney. The only downside is the ambience, wish they move out to a better place.
Kailash Kitchen has the best momos and dhangthuk which you can never taste anywhere else. It has such a heavenly taste that just thinking about it is making me drool.
The fusion food with spicy sauce 🔥🌶. Just love the taste of Momo 😍😍😍and noodle🍜.❤😘
I actually wanted to try chowmein but it wasnt available.. they gave me some other noodles which I wasnt familiar with.. its cold mild spicy noodles which i didnt like that much.. but best place to try momo and stuffs.. small place but it gets the job done.
Love their fried chicken momos especially the red chili mix is a gift it goes well with all of their mains 😍
The best place to have momos in town. Accompanied with a red chilly sauce that will blow your brains out, really spicy but delicious. Prices are very economical. Dine in wouldnt recommend since it has limited seats and doesnt have anything fancy. Take away is a good option. No parking available
Mostly north Indians prefer this kind of hotel....the special dish there is momos just too good..If you dont like spicy food then this is not your type....you have to wait a lot and to be in quese for this hotel...
Walk in with Patience ..Waited for an hour for a seat.Very small place which starts after 12.Pocket friendly and Items in menu availability is limited .Food is very good for the price we pay and served by little guy whom ppl call chottu :D.Surely will visit again to try other items in the menu.Btw This place is Filled with Girls :OLil akaward at times when ppl waiting for seat will stare at our plate just like us when we are waiting for our turn :/ xD
If you are a Momo lover, then this place is a must. Best Momos ever. You must try the Chicken fried Momos if you visit this place. Only drawback is, you need to wait for a longer time if you go on weekends as they only have 16 chairs and 4 tables.
Crowded and nestled in the nook of an old building. It is always crowded but is worth the wait. Fried and steamed momos are always to be tried by anyone. Tried thupka which was also good. Good place to go with friends. Cozy and small.. but always filling and affordable.
Wallet friendly best place for some Tibetan food. But only drawback is the wait time to pick you table. Its a very tiny place and itll take atleast 1.5hrs to finish your meal.
Definitely the best Tibetan food joint in the town (N one of the best momo serving joint of India!A truly pocket friendly place with inviting food.Location: If you are coming from choolaimedu signal/ Nungambakkam RS, you will get KK on your right side just 3 shops before Induslnd bank ATM/ opposite to the entrance of Chitra apartment (Just look for the red signboard of ‘Fingerlick’, Finding KK for the 1st time isn’t a easy task.😉)Ambience: A little room with just 5 tables, congested (can accommodated max 12-15 people). Waiting time is sometimes 45-60 minutes, so takeaway is suggested. This place is certainly not recommended for family outing, get together of big group of friend or dating purpose (Strictly No.. unless you master in whispering). Lighting is not adequate. So Nothing to talk about ambience. No Parking Space.Food: Portions are huge. Menu is limited , mostly revolves with 3 option Veg, Beef and Chicken. I have tried the following items so fur:1. Chicken Momo: Undoubtedly momos are the masterpiece, doesn’t ‘matter whether it is steamed or fried. Stuffing is adequate, juicy and taste awesome with their home made sauce. Sauce is super spicy & has a smoky flavour. (I always asked for an extra sauce for later consumption).👍👍👍👍2. Chicken Chowmein: Spicy noodles tossed with veggies & chicken pieces. A little on oilier side but taste delightful.❤3. Tsotsemein: Noodles with mouth watering chicken gravy (tastes very close to Manchurian gravy).4. Dhangthuk: Noodles cooked in seasame oil. I prefer chowmin over this one.5. Thukpa: The 2nd most famous dish of Tibet. Thukpa is delectable though the soup is oily.6. Chopsay: 3 times went there to try their chopsoy, but still NO LUCK..PS: Try to come by 12:30-1 when the entire Menu are available. though their shop is open upto 5:30-6 but only momos are available then.A highly recommended place for some really good food without a pinch in your pocket.
The food is fricking amazing. The variety of Tibetan stuff with some delicious momos will make anyones day. The only problem is the waiting time, If you go one a weekend then be ready to wait at least an hour.
Located amidst the busy crowded street of Choolaimedu, Kailash kitchen serves the best momos in the city. If you are visiting this place for the first time, I bet youd be shocked to notice that the shop is located in a tiny spot of the building a little inside from the main road without any name-board.As you enter inside, you have one more shocking scene waiting for you. You would be shocked to see that the entire restaurant has only 4 table (yeah, you read that right, just 4where 4 people can sit in each table and thus only 16 people can sit inside the restaurant at once. The interior is just amazing and exciting. It is occupied with Dalai lamas picture with bamboo styled decorations. Coming to the menu, it is just common menu with momos, noodles and desserts. The signature dish of this place is the momos. People from all parts of the city come and try their momos. The dishes are so good and moderately priced.Except for the long waiting hours and small place, this restaurant is one of the few places in Chennai, where you can find the tastiest momos. Do check out this place and try out their menu.Thank You !
Fantastic Momos! Best in Chennai. Well worth the wait. We will be back.
Teeny tiny place serving amazing Momos and other north Eastern cuisine. But be aware, you might have to wait for a bit so plan like wise. Also price is very affordable! I loved the experience totally. However if you do not like small places and waiting long, then this is not going to be all that great for you.
One of the best places in Chennai to have great Tibetian food. The place is always crowded and good luck finding the place. The food is quite spicy and that is the exact reason it craves you to want more. The best time to visit the shop is 2pm and everything sells out before 4pm.
Visited this place on an cool weather.. looks like an fast moving outlet,we were the last customer but time was only around 6.00pm .only momos were available all other items have been sold out..ordered fried and steamed momos one plate each..The momos tasted really good ..i liked fried over steamed...the sauce is good but too spicy u cant eat it without having any cool drink...
Its a good hotel with their specialty in cooking delicious foods. Its near to Loyola College and many students go there.
