Kabul Delhi Restaurant in Delhi

This place is located in lajpat nagar II. It’s a cozy little space just behind the central market area. The place serves authentic afghani food. If you are are mutton lover, then this place is heaven for you. The mutton they serve is extremely well cooked and not chewy at all. The staff is extremely polite and guided us well with the menu. The service is prompt too. Now coming to the price point, given that we had 4 mutton dishes and we were 3 people, the bill was around 1100 INR. I don’t think I’ve had such good mutton dishes at prices as low as 1100.The quantity of food in each serving was good too. 1 plate of each dish is enough for two people. Overall, I highly recommended this place for all the mutton and chicken lovers.

It is highly unethical that you still run Kabul Delhi in the same name as the original owners. Your food was very bad. I opened the box and realised this was not original Kabul Delhi. I could not eat after the first bite. As a regular customer of original Kabul Delhi, I know what the food tastes like. You are running a cheat business using their name.

It was an okay experience. The ambience and the staff are the only good thing here. I tried chicken qorma and mutton kadhai and both dishes had the exact same gravy. Earlier we had an amazing experience at Mazaar restaurant located nearby so we thought the dishes would be the same but it was not. The mutton and chicken were very chew-ey and not tasty. The Uzbeki was fine and even the lassi was not as good. Please if you are looking for good Afghani food, move to Mazaar Restaurant just a few minutes away.

It was an excellent choice I ever had. Really very tasty food. Flavours ate quite different from Indian style, eventhough it was good. A real Afghani food. Usually, restaurants serves foreign country food only in the name not in the quality, but @Kabul Delhi giving best quality. I really appreciate their effort and service.

Loved the food, mutton was so tender and delicious, the bread was complementary but its too tight but it was free so cant complain. All the food is super tasty staff behavior is good place was not hard to find.

Hi its mustafa. This is my first time in kabul delhi restaurant i block. I asked uzbeki palao and chopan gosht. They served me uzbeki rice with very soft mutton pieces and complimentary rajma was there and salatah was also there. Bread was absolutely free. And chopan was mouth watering and juicy. Great taste 😊

Mutton raan was absolutely tendered and mouth watering.murgh cg was a whole chicken in a plate with salad.i love to go there again and again.and suggest to the people to have the taste ,any kind of recipies will be acceptable aswell

Before we sat, one cockroach was already on that table. Still we gave it a try and we ordered Chicken Kadhai with Afghani Roti (the only bread item they had).Chicken Kadhai was ok ok but the Afghani roti was definitely not good. It was very hard to chew. We 2 people ate only 1 Roti.Our experience was not as good as we expected. It could have been good if they maintained proper hygiene.Hope will see some improvement in future..

It was a good experience in new kabul delhi restaurant. They have very good taste and I had mutton chopan and kebab shami. It was mouth watering and juicy. And I had kabul Uzbeki palao it has raisins and carrot with very tender mutton pieces.

Oh wow what a beautiful place where we can have an authentic Afghani food. Here we had one platers what was full of all chicken and mutton roasted kebabs. With Kabuli palao. It was nice experience. I just peole to go there and enjoy your food.

Very good Afghani restaurant in Lajpat Nagar. I tried Uzbekistan pulao and beans and everything was very tasty. The only thing which I didn’t liked was cleanliness. Otherwise it’s a must try restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and food is good.

It is located on kabul Street in Lajpat Nagar. First impression is good. Have limited items in menu. Rates are competitive. Will not go beyond 500-600 for 2. There is no parking space so plan accordingly.they have dastarkhan style sitting also. Food 3/5, ambience 3/5, charges 4/5, service 4/5

The food was good, no doubt but here are the things that turned me off.1. The place is a compact place with 3 ACs inside. Somehow the guy thinks he can save electricity by turning on the ACs one by one. LOL. Extremely humble people managing the restaurant. All of them are from Afghanistan. Only the son speaks Hindi, else a little difficult to communicate since other hosts at the restaurant speak very broken Hindi. Neat, clean, helpful staff and tasty hygienic food.

Nice food but not proper sitting arrangements

This restaurant is always crowded with people who do not prefer the sour and spicy taste of the Land of Spices. 400 rupees would be there for a hearty meal for one person. Give them 4 stars, better lor less

Its a nice comfy place , space is a bit issue here but no doubt that the food here is very nice and affordable. Food for two here will give you a pocket pinch (500-800depending on what you order. The restaurant serves complimentary green tea as their welcome gesture 👍. And the staffs here maintain a good behaviour with the customers

The dishes are very delicious cooked and a delight to the tongue. Had the opportunity to have kebab chopan and kadhai chicken chicken was so taste and delicious prepared in light spicey Afghani style,sitting arrangements are good and comfortable for family visits...Highly recommend..

Authentic Afghani food here is so great if you are a fan of non veg. You will get great lamb here too. The naan or the bread is free with the dish that you order. Combine your meal with the famous Afghani salad.

Located in Lajpat Nagar II near Central Market. Serves traditional Afghani cuisine and dishes made in Afghani style. The dishes are very less in spice, nicely cooked and a delight to the tongue. Had the opportunity to have pulao,kebab chopan and kadhai chicken. Kadhai chicken unlike Mughlai kadhai chicken was super delicious prepared in light spicey Afghani style.The breads are served along with the ordered curry.The interior and sitting arrangements are okay and comfortable for family visits.The thing to remember is to carry cash to make payments as the restaurant does not accept cards and online payments.

BEST PLACE FOR AFGHANI FOOD !!! could have not started this review without this statement. I am a huge non-veg lover and this place gave me a whole new palate of taste. I tried their Qabuli Pulao, Kabab Chopanand Qaborgha Kabab. I have never had mutton of such good quality at any of the places that I have been to. Mutton was very well cooked, properly done, tender and juicy. Best part they dont use spices which doesnt alter with the taste of mutton and gives you the complete taste of the meat. They serve you kidney beans, breads and green tea along with the food. It was a never forgetting experience for me and I would visit this place every time I am in Delhi. Summary: Great food, generous portion size, good quality and very easy on the pocket. Do visit this place at least once.

Food is definitely not good here. I was invited by my friend to taste some authentic Agfhan food. I genuinely didn’t enjoy the meal. Food is costly, I personally don’t recommend this restaurant for Afghan cuisine.
