This place has the best garlic sauce hands down. The other places cant compete. They can put three taboons in front of Kabob and Ill still walk past them to get to Kabob. Their rice is cooked to perfection , hummus is superb and shawarma is tender and fresh. The owner is usually here and waits on you himself. This is the type of business I like to support. You wont be disappointed!

My husband and I were trying to find a nice middleastern restaurant to eat at in Flint and decided on this place based on the reviews. We showed up at 2pm on a Saturday. The open sign was on in the window but when we walked in there was no one in the restaurant. No hosts, servers or others dining. We rang the bell at the front desk and waited for about 5 minutes and nobody came to the front to greet us. So we decided to leave. Very disappointed and don’t plan on returning.

Best chicken shwarma our family has ever had (the other food is amazing as well). I used to got to Baddawest, but after coming here a few times this is the new "go to" spot. The food is always consistent and amazing. Great owner as well!

Greasy food, be aware when you get your check, the prices on the menu is not what they charge. $7 extra charge for the meal, when we asked they said their prices has changed but they didn’t print a new menu..WHAT?? That’s ridiculous, you’re losing a business

ordered food from here, came 20 mins later to pickup, nobody was working front counter, chef saw me , i stood there 5 mins...still waited, then said screw it and left went somewhere else....O-k...so if you want to waste your own food and put orders together then have customer show up just to walk out the door with no food, will get you BROKE ! Only time, LAST time i ever go there. Besides was very very dirty when looking around, especially with it being Covid, youd of thought they had enough time to clean up (year couldnt do it? take out only didnt help?geeeeeeez

This place is great! They have tables that are different shapes! Some of their booths are too skinny for fat people (I can say that because Im fat), so if youre fat too, I recommend a table. We got the house tray for 6 and it is SO MUCH FOOD (2 adults, 1 teenage boy, 2 other kids and a partridge in a pear tree). Their food tastes wonderful too. Eat it.

Stopped in here as Taboons didnt have our order filled that we called in - person taking the order didnt give it to the cook. This little restaurant was very good. Order was filled as quickly as could safely be - to throughly cook the chicken. It was also cheaper. I will definitely be back.

In the past I have had good experiences here. The last time we went, we had called ahead & told them it would be a group of 14. Everything was set when we arrived. They were out of lamb, the people who ordered the lentil soup & one of the chicken rice soup orders were cold. I had the chicken kabobs with rice & fattoush salad. My meal was good, but almost everyone else had at east one problem. I was disappointed for everyone else. I may try again with just a few of us for dinner, but definitely not take a group.

Our family just ate at Kabob tonight for my husbands birthday dinner. We were SO impressed with everything! The server made our meal taste even better with his genuine graciousness and attentiveness. The beef kabob was beyond outstanding, as were the grilled vegetables, hummus, pita bread with garlic sauce, tabbouleh, and fatoush salads. We ordered the Arabic tea, not knowing what to expect, and it was wonderfully spiced. The perfect complement to a wonderful meal. We want to thank the server for treating us so well, offering extra servings of bread, garlic sauce, and tea. We will DEFINITELY be coming back to Kabob very soon.

I just had some of the best middle eastern food ever. The tabbouleh, meat grape leaves, and kibbeh and warm bread were outstanding. The leban was fabulous. My friend said that the falafel and hummus were the best she had had.I will be back and highly recommend you give it a try. The service was attentive and friendly.

The food is amazing. Large portions and they are generous with the fresh bread. They offer many options for vegetarians which is important for me. The best part about Kabob is the friendly owners and staff. They spend time talking with me every time I eat there 😀🤗

Our server was amazing! He was fun, friendly, and chatty. The falafel was amazing! I enjoyed my chicken kabob with veggies. The food came out fast. My only complaint was the hummus, it had an odd aftertaste. My sister and I thought it may have been a little old. Would still definitely go back!

The food was OK. I got the shrimp ghalabba (spelling?). The seasoning was OK for me, but the shrimp was a little over-cooked. My friend got the chicken ghalabba, and he thought it was under-seasoned. The place was empty (it was near-closing), and the waiter kept coming to the table and talking about his religious beliefs! The bread and garlic dip were good, though.

If you love middle eastern and Greek food, this is the place for you! Fresh food and ingredients. The chefs know what they are doing and the food is full of exquisite flavor. Wide variety on their menu as well so if you have picky little ones, no problem! Excellent service all around. My family and I were welcomed immediately upon walking in. And we had the best server anyone could ask for. He was kind, fun, and gave suggestions from the menu that were on point. Great dessert selection as well. The building is very clean and well put together. Simple and relaxed environment. We intend to be regulars of this establishment for a long time.

Oh my goodness, Im stuffed! The waitress was so helpful about explaining what everything was on the buffet. She helped me when I placed a take out order for my husbands dinner. The food was so good that I ate 2 plates of food and I never do that. Im usually lucky to get through most of a single plate. Ill definitely be back!

Okay, to be fair, the place was busy when we arrived, but quickly emptied out. Service was slow and disorganized, and considering the place was empty but for us, cold food was pretty surprising. I dont normally comment on stuff like this, but their restroom was less than clean. In fact, the "no touch" paper towel dispenser was defeated by the overflowing trash can beneath it. The food was decent, but not spectacular. Id look for another option if I wanted Middle Eastern food in this area.

The food here is amazing. You can tell they make the food fresh and a plus to the food is that they give you quite a bit on your plate, how could you complain about that. All in all the food here is great if you are looking for that authentic middle eastern cuisine. I will be returning here to eat.

Food was fabulous. First time Id been there since they moved, changed thier name, lost my favorite cook to another job and completely revamped thier menu and raised their prices. BUT, all that being said, the food was absolutely great, as good as it always was, and totally worth the price. Will go back again and again.

Tried the buffet for lunch, it was ok. Not too big of a selection. Chicken, rice and the egplant in tomato sause was good. The service was great but tbh I was expecting better tasting food. The place needs renovation. For $11 plus tip you get a lot more at a chinese buffet, just saying.

The platters are an amazing deal. The tabbouleh and grape leaves were amazing. The rice was very flavorful. Im not sure if I like the chicken or the beef more because both are great. The owner has personally served my table on a number of occasions and was friendly every time. Being served tea was my favorite experience.

I will think twice before going to kabob next time! We went for buffet lunch there as I have tried their chicken shawrma before which I liked. Our expectations were to have awesome food but we came home with regrets. The ambiance was so dull and boring.Only one waitress was there and she showed some of the times. The food was not that good, pita bread was almost dried and looked like kept for the day long in open air.The food was not hot even though arranged in the buffe style with hot water beneath.Limited options.Taste was not great either.Soup was like a floating water (chicken and lemon soup which I tried)I liked the chicken dish though, but it was okay.Overall, I wont choose it again if given an option.

Went to lunch with a co-worker on a Wednesday afternoon; it wasnt busy at all but it took an extremely long time from when we placed our order to actually receive our meals. The food quality was decent but nothing spectacular. Pricing was pretty competitive for this type of establishment. Needless to say, I dont foresee myself making any trips back in the future.

Typically the food here is good, but the service is not. It isnt a one time occurrence, but often. Once we had food spilled on several members of our party and there wasnt any sort of apology. If you get refills on your drinks it is a good day. Today they brought 1 soup out and we had to ask for our 2nd soup and salad... really? Who brings only one soup out? We had to ask for our basket of pita bread and dip. In the end when asked about our service one person in our 3 person party answered that the food was very good, but the service was a bit slow we were actually berated! The hostess said that we should call ahead, odd, we are a party of 3 in a restaurant that is less than half full. During our visit 2 parties of 2 walked out. I really like the food, but I cant take that long when having lunch, and none of us had a difficult dish to serve. My hummus and tabbouleh sandwich was yummy, but not worth the wait.

The food is very good, the waitress and staff were all very nice and helpful. Nothing tasted bad whatsoever, which was very nice especially after eating absolutely awful food at Taboon just down the road. The prices were very decent. We ordered the meal for two they have on the menu, which there was enough on the plate for plenty of left-overs to take home.

I am from California, and was really wanting something with the flavor profile I havent really found much of out here in Michigan. This place not only did the trick, but it did so in an affordable way. I have food allergies, including being allergic to MSG and I had no problems eating here at all! Amazing flavor profile, fresh food, excellent salad and great specials! Oh and their fresh pita is making my mouth water just thinking about it!!!

This is by far one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I have ever been to! We had 5 people in our party and everyone was completely satisfied. Our waitress was very kind and explained the various dips and salads available at the salad bar. I still am eating leftover Baba Ganoush two days later! There seemed to be very few diners when we were there, and Im hoping that it was just coincidence, because I want this place to be around for a while!!

We ate here on Saturday night while out with some friends. There were four of us, and with an appetizer and the platter for 2, there was plenty of food to be had by all. The food was fantastic. It was well prepared. It was well presented. Well be eating here again real soon.
