Food is good and they serve rice with every dish.
Best Indian food in Vaasa!
Very tasty Indian cuicine and customer friendly service.
Nice place to eat Indian foods..👌
Good atmosphere. Some dishes quite tasty. However when had a plate too hot and spicy for us, would not change it ... Not very service oriented.
MoreThe taste was quite good , good customer service
The only Indian restaurant in the town and it’s the BEST. Spices can be adjusted according to the taste,Naan bread is super soft and staffs are very friendly too.
MoreNice ambiance, the food is delicious 😋
Good place to try "not so spicy" Indian food in Vaasa. Indians or south Asians might not like the food as the spicies are mild, maybe its done so to suit the Finnish customers.I would recommend if you like food from Indian subcontinent and Indian flavours. Do try the desserts!
MoreThe only good cheap weeknight restaurant in Vaasa. The chicken vindaloo is spiced perfectly and with ginger shaved in to give it a fresher flavor than curry usually has, although the chicken is a bit overcooked. It also has a good amount of heat, so if you dont like spicy food you may want to steer clear of it.The samosa are perfect. The ground meat samosas are well spiced, and I presume the meat inside is fried in its own fat before wrapped to give it a nicer texture for finger foods. The veggie samosa are even better, and have a lot umami that Im not sure how they create. The dipping sauce that comes with them has a mix of sweet and sour flavors that works very well with both types, although Im partial to the veggie ones. Two portions of samosa is easily a meal.Maybe Im just easily impressed, but the difference between this place and other restaurants is night and day.
MoreAwesome chicken curry with delicious naan bread...Highly recommend for Indian cusine!!! Love it
MoreTasty food, nice restaurant and friendly staff. Not well signposted.
Amazing food! One of the best oriental places Ive ever been!
Says open until 22:00. Checked on website, everyone chose their food ahead of visit. Drove to restaurant to find it closed. Nothing on website to say why, no note on the window, nothing. Useless.
MoreAn average Indian food restaurant.Meal preparing time can be improved.Bit over priced.
MoreDelicious & Spicy food. I recommend! + amazing service, thank you!
Peaceful and quiet place for relaxing dinner with melodious asian music👍👍❤️❤️❤️
MoreNever lets you down, food is always good and the naan bread melts in your mouth.
Delicious food and kind service
Excellent food and very friendly service 😀
Its probably one of the best restaurant we have ever been. Their foods were of excellent quality and well prepared. I highly recommend this place.
MoreGreat lunch. If you want your fish to be spicy just ask for it. Otherwise its mild.
MoreNice and comfy place with a nice decor. The food has been toned down so westerners can enjoy it without crying from it being too spicy (its very mild). The menu comes with a very good description of the food, and the staff is very helpful in helping you with your order. Its a bit pricey, bit theres not many places around here where you can enjoy Indian cuisine, so I can highly recommend a visit. And dont forget to order some garlic naan bread with your food (its a must! ;)
MoreMy favourite place for fast take aways
Its the only Indian restaurant (2019in Vaasa, and its pretty good. Last time I went, I had a mixed grill, some garlic naan, and the ghost taktak or something. It was all very good.
MoreReally nice food, very polite staff
Really good Indian food and nice service! Suitable for vegans as well.
Tastes really good and quite a busy crowded restaurant
Best Indian food in town. Pretty authentic.
Overpriced, not an authentic Indian, not got the depth of Indian flavours, chicken only is halal.
MoreSurprisingly good Indian food. Interior needs a bit of an uplift
Great food and service. Atmosphere/decoration could use some refreshment. Definitely good profit margin, but also a just price for the meal I had.
MoreTasted like stored sauces and canned products..close to Indian food, but not Indian food. Very far from Helsinki, Tampere Indian restaurant taste. Very very far from Indian taste.
MoreA very poor dining experience. Given the short supply of Indian restaurants in the area, Kaavya has somewhat a captured market. The food has been passable, but tonight it was truly awful. Over-spiced with chilli and too saucy. Mushrooms from a tin which is inexcusable. I did not recognise my dish as a Karai at all. In fact, it reminded me of a 3:30am drunken curry from the crappy places I sometimes used to eat at as a student in Bradford. But then it was dirt cheap - which Kaavya most certainly is not. Then there was the the complete lack of customer service. At no point did anyone ask if the meal was satisfactory at the table - or when we went to pay. I wont go again. If you know anything about Indian food then I encourage you to cook at home - or make the trek to Sesam in Jakobstad if you want a nicer dining experience.
MoreMutton Biryani is good. Gravy items are not to the mark.
Vaasas hidden gem! Really tasty Indian food, that everybody should try.
Always good food, but must say that spices has been reduced, maybe because of Finish customers complaining about too much spices. Overall good, but in my opinion little bit tasteless.
MoreGood food, fast service and affordable prices during lunch hours.
Naan bread doesnt include in a la carte meals
Food was delicious BUT, for prices like these I expected MORE food than what I get. considering to the price food had meat very little, also rice. Way too expensive for small amount of food like this if u ask from me. Menu was very confusing, almost all meals have the same sauce and u can choose any meat u want with your meal, so in the end almost all meals was the same in menu cuz u can mix everything together. Not going to eat here second time, I rather do indian food by myself.
MoreIf youre ok with paying a little more then theres absolutely nothing to complain about.
MoreReally good Indian food. I enjoyed every part of it. The flavors are unique and the Nan(breadtastes awesome.
MoreVery good food, especially Fridays lunch lamb stew is amazing!!
Best indian food I have eaten in a while. Staff are really friendly and you can ask them to make it hotter. Food is fragrant and atmosphere is really well set!
MoreGreat burgers. Habanero sauce is highly recommended.
Are you tired of eating potatoes?Go there.Do you want potatoes? You can still go there, they have it.Both the spicy and non-spicy menus are terrific. Even had a christmas dinner party here.Wine and dine or just a snack, I recommend this place. And I love food.
MoreHad one of my best lunches just now. Lunch hour prices but evening a large carte quality food made after ordering. Butter chicken with a lot of extras. Full and happy and recommending this restaurant.
MoreOnly indian/pakistani food restaurant in town. Food taste is average.
Life saver for us, we got our authentic indian food here :)almost everyday dinner we are doing here , nice food quality, and service too.
